 On May 1st, 2009, nation leaders spoke together to reveal a truth to the world: the supernatural world is real. Vampires, werewolves, and more exist. They have been known to the government for a long time, and now they are coming out of the shadows - and they come with a message. They are not a threat. They mean no danger to humans. But there are other things out there that do. The days that followed changed everything most people believed they knew about the world, about history, and most importantly, about themselves. Celebrities, politicians, the family down the street - they began revealing their true identities, and telling the world what they really were. Missing people that had been turned against their will came out of hiding, and orginizations popped up to reunite them with their families. The revealing of the supernatural was penned in the media as the Light of May, as society made room for the supernatural. It wasn't easy. Many, human and supernatural alike, were terrified of what this would mean. Some wanted to keep the supernatural abominations down. Leading figures of both Democratic and Republican parties were revealed to be supernaturals themselves, and joined together to fight for civil rights for the supernatural. It is revealed that if the supernatural were wiped out, half of the entire world's population would be gone. Independent parties popped up through-out the country, opposing supernatural rights, and the fight goes on. But those aren't the only battles being fought. Why did the Light of May happen? If the supernatural has always existed, why are they only making themselves known now? For centuries, those with supernatural blood have been hunted, held, and killed - all for the benefits of their blood to hunters, and vampires who don't want to play by the rules of etiquette. There was a time when the angels, and even the fae, fought to protect them. But the fae have been extinct for hundreds of years, and worse - the angels seem to have disappeared. There is nothing fighting the demons of the world at bay now. The human race is at risk, and they are not alone.  The Light of May is an original supernatural game, taking place in a time when the world is adjusting to the world that has been hidden since the beginning of time. The game is set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, centered around a fictional township called Scarlet Oak. Characters of many races are up for play, as are those trusty humans. The Light of May will be focusing on characters adjustments and the eventual struggle against demons, hunters, and more. The Light of May is for original characters only. “ . . . All that was left in Pandora’s box was hope.” During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine. |

The world is a simple place. It just happens to be filled with the supernatural. Demons, vampires, magic, angels, good, evil. But through it all one thing stays constant. The world is a cosmic game board between Heaven and Hell. Hell has its influence everywhere, guided by Lucifer's hand. Heaven's armies battle Hell's, while most humans are blind to the fact their existence could change with one lost fight. While Hell has it's share of demons and other evils, Heaven has its champions. It's Chosen. The war is on going and woven so deep into the fabrics of life that many of these individuals remain unaware of each other. Many think they are alone, but in reality they are not. Many prefer to work alone but there are situations that won't allow it. Through it all, beings are trying to exist. To live. To rule. The world continues on. Battles fought. Battles won. Battles lost. Heroes and villains come and go. Life evolves. Though the board can change, the game will forever continue. So what kind of person are you? Are living or are you fighting? Endless Epitaph is a multi-fandom game set in a world where horror and the supernatural are prevalent. Buffy Summers is slaying vampires, the Joker is causing carnage in his crazy wake, the Red Blue Blur is inspiring Metropolis, the Ghostbusters are busting ghosts, Winchesters are hunting demons, witches are hording power, and everyone is fighting to save the world, to end it, or just to get through the day. |

It's the end of the world as we know it, and everything's fine. Both Buffy and Angel have had their apocalypses; Sunnydale is a huge smoking crater, and Los Angeles is ticking on like nothing ever happened. Except something did. Somehow, Buffy and Angel are the new owners of the deserted Wolfram and Hart building, there's gold name-plates on the top floor condos for both teams, Buffy's and Angel's, and nobody quite knows what's going on with the Senior Partners or if they're even still in play. All they do know is, someone has been notifying all the brand-new Slayers and telling them to come out to Los Angeles and hop in the sandbox. On which side of the fence do you fall? |

New York and London, in the year of 2009. The King and the Queen, Enkil and Akasha are dead since many years ago. Of course, it depends on who you ask! For Marius and the other children of the Millenium, it might seem like the blink of an eye. The lycans exist side by side with the immortals, under the white flag Marius De Romanus and the lycans’ elder Jack “one-eye” Bevan raised together for so many years ago. Each full moon, the lycans gather in Central Park and Hyde Park for their celebrations. No one, except the lycans themselves knows what it is that happens on these occasions and that’s how it is going to be forever and ever. Our game takes place in London, and New York. However, don’t let this worry you. Nothing stops you from commuting between the two cities. We are looking for friendly, creative and openminded players who are interested in having fun and making friends while exploring Anne Rice’s universe and making it our own. | The fading stench of sulfur is still lingering in the air when you wake up, disoriented and groggy, the gentle rain aiding to bring you back to consciousness. Wherever you were, whether you were sleeping or simply resting your eyes at the time, is long gone. Now, you're in the middle of the forest and beside the fact that you were one place last you remember and are now in completely another, something else still feels off. On your person is nothing except a small "survival kit" with an unfamiliar logo; two words in Latin: Vas Captio. The kit contains soggy matches, a packet of Tic Tacs, a pair of tube socks, a bottle of water, and a journal with a pen taped to it. When you finally feel together enough to get up and walk, making your way out of the forest, you come upon an abandoned town. Try as hard as you might, you won't be able to figure out where or when you are. And that glass wall looms ominously above. Welcome to VAS CAPTIO. You're on our time now, so sit back, try to relax, and just be yourself. That's why you're here, after all; we are very interested in studying you. But, then, you'll find that out soon enough on your own. VAS CAPTIO is a panfandom horror/survival game that opened on Saturday, March 21st.
