Slowly the nurseries at hospitals go silent and the world begins to simple stop producing newborn babies. Science is forced to move forwards to find a way to have babies in vitro, and as humans begin to explore the process of conception they find themselves playing God with genes. Some are born 'perfect', ordered just so by their adoring parents. Some are born with a little help, but mostly natural with their genetics- and then of course there are the outsiders who are some how 'imperfect' in a world that is slowly focused on being perfect. But as theses new classes come out, so does the need for even more births: the population is low, and people aren't getting married. With the aid of power propaganda a new president and Houses pass a marriage lottery law that will force people of all classes to marry complete strangers if their names are drawn. The slowly growing underground rebellion group is starting to rise, but the government seems to just be getting stronger and stronger. Will your name get plucked out of the lottery? Will you walk down the aisle- or will you go underground and start lighting the Molotov Cocktails? Genes Mod is a RPG game inspired by sources such as "Children of Men", "Brave New World" and many other sources. | |
