While everyone was busy worrying about escaping the castle and the fate of the school someone had to ask the important questions. Someone had to look out for her peers interest. Among these lay about that someone was obviously her.
A heavy book laid in front of her at breakfast. While the rest of her classmates eat she had spent a majority of the night and morning figuring out exactly what the protocol was when the castle and possibly the grounds were in-cased in giant spider webs. As she reached the last page it was clear there were no such protocols. Mercedes stood on her seat wand poised to amplify her voice. She was clearly in distress.
"I know that this is a frighting time for all of us but if I could have the attention of the house Quidditch teams. I really think we ought to talk about what we want to do about practice in the mean time. There is after all a match against Hufflepuff this weekend! Gryffindor common room before dinner please, thank you." She sat down and put her head on the table. Her final year as captain would not end with an incomplete season!
