His last several texts had gone unanswered, which meant she was either understandably irritated or just not checking her phone. It didn't matter, though, because Danny still felt bad for being over an hour late to meet Colleen to go out for dinner. Meetings had run late, and he probably should've just met her at the restaurant at this rate, but since she wasn't texting back he could only assume she was still waiting at his place. "Hey, Colleen?" he called out as he stepped inside his front door, glancing first at the dark television and empty couch. He frowned and headed for his bedroom, loosening his tie, where he froze on the threshold with his eyebrows raised. Colleen was fast asleep in the bed. Danny couldn't really blame her, it was a pretty great bed. Clearly she needed the rest, so dinner could wait (he'd get takeout whenever she woke up). Moving to the bedside he carefully pulled the blanket up to tuck her in and leave her to finish her nap.
