Nick hadn't left a message. He'd almost been too ashamed too and honestly he wasn't sure why he kept calling her. It wasn't like it mattered. He just felt genuinely bad about the whole thing. Surely, she should've realized something so ludicrous was not his doing. Well, not directly, anyway. So for what seemed the fiftieth time Nick called Felicia Hardy and this time, he actually left a voicemail.

"Miss Hardy? Nick Fury. Look, I want to apologize for the other night. It was, ridiculous. I'm sorry. It had nothing to do with you. I hope you can accept my apology. You don't have to call or anything. All right. Bye."

She didn't have his direct number, though he had hers. So she had to go through the trouble of moving up the ranks of security. This took several hours over the course of the last several days to navigate.

But finally, finally! She may have just hit pay dirt.

"Yes. My name is Felicia Hardy. I am Mr. Wilson Fisk's personal secretary. Of Fisk Enterprises. Yes, Mr. Fury is expecting my call. No, this cannot wait. I have been calling for days to get a hold of him for this business proposition. One he was very interested in discussing. It is a lucrative one that he said he was willing to pursue. The offer will be recinded if I cannot get a hold of him before the New Year. Do inform him of this."
