[That morning he wakes up eagerly with the sun drifting through an open window and warming his face. For a moment he feels disoriented though and it hits him only after ten seconds that he woke up not because he could see the light through his eyelids but because the heat is felt so easily on his skin.
A car outside honks it's horn and Matt's head swims as the sound is like the blast of a cannon to him. It paints his world in radar and now, all that is left of two weeks of seeing everything like a newborn is memories. One in particular standing out: a pretty blond with eyes as blue as the sky.
He doesn't know how to feel. A part of him is angry, wants to curse at some god for giving him something so amazing and just ripping it away not even a couple weeks later. Another part if relieved. He's been seeing odd things, ghosts and spirits which had Matt feeling crazy.
