"Then we won't put her identity down as a clearly important part of the message. I hate to be the one to inform you of this, but Ms. Hardy was found brutally beaten and left in the bathtub of your former apartment. From what we can discern from the evidence at the scene, she was dragged through from the living room window and into your bathtub before being beaten again with enough force to break the fiberglass and tile.
"We believe it was intended to be some sort of message to you as Ms. Hardy was dressed up in a Black Cat costume three sizes too big. Whoever did this also went to the trouble of replicating her claws and grappling hooks. If you are not familiar with her than it's likely the victim was chosen for her... assets.
"Can you think of anyone who might want to send you such a message or what it might mean?"
