Summary: A small group of Earth's mightiest fight off a squad of arthropodic invaders.
It was about 3 a.m. on the space station when the alarms started going off. Defense sensors installed and updated by Tony Stark himself, picked up a fleet of arthropodic aliens storming down the horizon’s corridors towards the human side of the space station. A screeching red alert sound echoed from every area of the stations living quarters where the Avengers and their allies made camp. The Alien’s weapons were detecting among the Stark tech scans and a special message was delivered to Stark’s room recommending defensive action.
Peter Parker, himself was just drifting off to sleep when the wailing sound startled him awake. He’d been having trouble sleeping, and still couldn’t quite pry himself away from the fact that his family was so far away. Suddenly though everywhere a screeching red alert shuttled around and a Stark Tech female voice boomed out on the coms. “..ATTENTION HOSTILE LIFEFORMS DETECTED. ATTENTION HOSTILE LIFE FORMS DETECTED. ATTENTION HOSTILE LIFEFORMS DETECTED. ATTENTION..” Peter sprang up out his bed with his eyes wide open now. “Alright! I get it! Shut up!” He quickly rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and immediately stared at the electronic map beeping in front of him. He hastily tried to memorize the location of the where the attack was being targeted, then ran to the side of his bed and started getting dressed in costume.
A few minutes later and Spider-Man was on the move. He dashed across the corridors utilizing his super human speed and endurance to make there in time. As soon as he neared the area of interest and passed into another hallway, his Spidey Sense started blaring and he moved just in time to avoid getting his face melted from a splashing spray of liquid. The stuff struck the wall instead and promptly began melting metal and plastic. “Yikes.” Quipped Spidey as he turned to gaze down into the room where the spray attack had come from. There before him were waves after waves of bloodthirsty aliens, all snarling at the mouth and lounging forward for the little hero. “Hey guys. Don’t suppose we can talk about this? From one Arachnid to another insecta? Gulp. Guess not..”
