Dew from the fog misted over her skin. It was no more than an hour ago that Jessica was one of those night owls making their way back to bed after a night of wandering, listening to the city sleep. Jessica fought down a yawn and eyed Danny warily, perhaps more amused now by his sunny disposition than truly annoyed by it. Mostly, she couldn't understand how anyone could have so much energy this early in the morning. She didn't like it. "You do this every morning?" she asked, eventually pulling one foot in behind her, holding for a few seconds before switching to the next one.
