Is your mouth a little weak
Characters:Bruce and Claire
Content:Green anger soon
Summary:Bruce can't get a single date without sometihng dramatic happening
Diane was a thirty-two-year-old surgeon. She spoke French, Mandarin and Spanish fluently. She could play the Cello and was teaching herself how to play the piano. In a word she was incredible and for whatever reason she messaged him on a dating app for people in STEM. Bruce hadn't told the other Avengers where he was going that night for fear of teasing. He had only been a member of the site a week.
Bruce axiously checked the time again while he convinced and unconvinced himself that the Tech Expo hat was a clever thing to wear. Surely she remembered that anecdote right? He finally took it off deciding it was indeed stupid looking.
He looked at his watch again while all the negative thoughts swirled in his head. He hated this. What if she didn't show up? There was a large window by their table what if she already saw him in the hat and decided no? The waiter had been by to refill his water and asked if he was okay at least three times, what if the whole wait staff knew he was being stood up? His heart monitor gave a chirp, bruce needed something to take his mind off of the situation and settled on people watching.
He focused on the music, the white noise of the other tables' converstations, the man in front of him awkwardly tugging at his neck tie while his date went on about her day. It was nice to see someone else was there on a first date. He remembered being that nervous with Betty. He was sweating jsut like him, He felt like the neck tie was choking th elife out of him. However he never started turning a purpelish red hue and never looked so rashy.
The man fell to the floor with a thud and cries of shock echoed through the dining area. Bruce quickly rushed over to asses the damage. It was clear to him he was having a bad reaction.
"Sir? Are you allergic to anything?" Bruce asked as he went through his pockets searching for an epi-pen.
"I think he's allergic to shell fish and nuts we just met online." His worried date answered knealing beside him. Bruce looked over at his plate, it was a steak but her plate was lobster tail dripping in some sort of sauce with nuts.
"Did you feed him from your plate?!" He asked in disbelief.
"I thought he'd jsut like break into a rash, he said he was fine!"
There was no time to tell her everythign wrong with that statement his new patiance was doing poorly and there was no epi-pen he was going to go into shock if he didn't get to a hospital. The man wasn't very large and was easy to pick up and there was a hospital down the street.
Patiant in tow Bruce charged into an ER and approached the first nurse he saw.
"This man is going into aniphilactic shock. His pulse is not steady and his breathing is uneven!"
