That was certainly one way to describe him. "I'm sorry if he's been difficult," Wanda said, regretfully. "I don't think he wants to be here. We have a complicated history." The kiss they'd shared in her mind had probably only made it worse. She didn't want to think too much about that, hope for anything that wasn't possible. Wanda shook her head and focused on Jessica again. "Anyway, you don't have to hang around him if you don't want to. I'm awake," she managed a small smile, "No more holding vigil. Give the nurses a break. I want you to rest." And heal, too, but she didn't say that aloud. Jessica needed to recuperate emotionally and physically just as much as Wanda did. Wanda could remember attacking Jess, against her own will, had been conscious for some of the horrible things the demon said to her friend. This whole terrible ordeal was hard on them both, and Wanda wouldn't rest easy until she knew that Jessica could, too. Maybe she could talk a nurse into giving Jess some Xanax.
