Shrieks of surprise and terror followed the blast as curious onlookers, now less curious and more frightened, retreated from their careful approach back across their lawns and into the homes, and Tony could practically feel the air grow heavy with cellular activity. Now the grass was catching, and Ares' cute little shed, and part of a fence, mostly pushed over by the explosion. "Keep it tight, Thor!" Iron Man reminded the Avenger as he dropped lower to the ground to send a sonic pulse through the smoldering vegetation, throwing the smoke into Ares' face as some of the small fires parched and others were stoked.
