Well, she could offer, but if it was coffee she was serving it wasn't going to be nearly as good as Jasper's. He grinned this time, shaking his head for Jan not to worry. "You've got a better delivery, anyway," he allowed as he revealed the thermos from the basket, then the tin he had prepared with it, and only seemed to realize he had paid her an actual, personal and not vague compliment once his hands were full and he couldn't hide in them. So he blushed and coughed and tried to continue cavalierly, "Freshly ground this morning," presenting the thermos-- oh, her hands were full, he could just put that down on the counter-- "and baked," he finished, popping open the tin to reveal the aromatic biscotti within. He might not have been Avengers material or a wealthy socialite like the rest of Ms. Van Dyne's friends, but Jasper could put on an impressive spread if she gave him the chance.
