The band that had formerly been a watch dropped abruptly from Hammer's neck and made it's way back to his wrist. Magneto had the good manners to twist it back into its original form before he began his trek down the path again, ignoring the woman's caustic skepticism and Hammer's squawking. If they knew what was good for them, they would relent. This time they did not disappoint and he was able to lead them along the beach to a cliff face where, high above, his manor had once stood. He stared hard at the sheer rock wall for nearly a minute before he reached out and touched a particular indention, no different than a thousand small crevices around it, and the rock made a peculiar noise as a section fell back and a dark jagged doorway appeared. Magnus stepped in without hesitation, the path through this dark cave lit by dim lights in wall recesses that illuminated as they passed and then went dark again when they were gone. Once they were all inside the rock wall slid back into place and the walk to their destination, that led them downwards along a steady slope, seemed to take an inordinate amount of time.
Their destination in question was the oval room of cells, all of them empty save for the one containing Kurt Wagner who hissed and bared his teeth at their appearance, slamming himself against the bars of energy keeping him in his cell. They sizzled and bounced him back and he stopped half a foot away, pacing and staring at them with hungry yellow eyes.
The usually empty space in the midst of the room was filled with laboratory equipment and tables, the computer Magnus promised, and two of the cells were open so that they would have a place to sleep. "There is your specimen," Magnus nodded towards Wagner. "He's a mutant- obviously. His powers are being inhibited by the collar he's wearing but he's particularly agile so you'd do best to watch yourself if you're collecting dna. There's a communication device on the table, you can use it when you need someone to open the cage for you. You can try to beg one of my people to set you free but I doubt it would do you much good. The way we came through is blocked-" Indeed, the doorway they'd entered through had disappeared, a wall sliding down over it. "And other exits are barred. Meals will be brought to you twice a day and you will report daily to the people I send down."
