Normally Wanda wouldn't knock, even after half a year without actually living here, but she also wasn't normally bogged down with an armful of brightly wrapped packages (which had been surprisingly difficult not to lose in transit during her teleportation hops). The knocking had actually been more of a kicking the door with her boot. When the door opened she shifted her boxes to peer over them and offer a grin and a, "Surprise!"
She offered Tony a perfunctory peck on the cheek before she slid past and over to the tree to deposit her festive burden and then shrugged off her coat. Having to wear a coat at all was delightful and she'd already decided she was going to duck out at some point just to go walk for awhile and see the lights and displays. All the holiday decorations in LA just seemed artificial without a really cold day to enjoy them in. At best it was chilly back in Malibu and she'd even got a little sunbathing in that afternoon. Not really Christmas weather. She'd had to come back home, just for a little while.
"Merry Christmas," Wanda said, turning back to Tony now that her arms were free and throwing them around his neck for a hug in a more proper greeting.
