"To fucking punish you," Daisy snapped back as her last words before there was the slam of a door. Most days she wasn't sure why Nick kept that asshole on anymore. He kicked Sebastian off the team without a second fucking thought and he was conscientious enough to keep his whining to his fucking diary. If Sebastian could be ejected without to much as a fucking thank you, Alex could take a kick in the ass and the rest of them could see themselves out. Anything not bolted down in the submarine gave a brief rattle of frustration, then went back to serenely rocking with the gentle roll.
When Daisy next appeared, it was in a wet suit and still looking disgruntled and said, "Fucking dammit," when she spotted the fucking undead on her fucking boat. She turned her shoulder to the happy little trio, not turning fully away but refusing to look at them, trying to keep calm. That was a dead thing. There were probably more dead things that she just couldn't see. Everywhere was full of dead things. "I can't launch myself and I don't want that," she said, pointing vaguely in the direction of the ghost, "so, any time..." Whatever else she had to say must not have been too important, because she gave a dismissive wave of her hand and stomped away again. One of them would follow her. One with a fully intact skull.
