The place where the Atlantean flagship docked was a secluded pier close to Magneto's mansion. It allowed Namor a private embarkation from his ship away from the prying eyes of Genosha's citizens, but it meant too that there would be no fanfare, no celebrations in the streets of Genosha to honor the ruler of the seas. This was, perhaps, more to Magnus' benefit than Namor's. The Master of Magnetism was well aware of the King of Atlantis' hubris and his reaction would prove to Magnus whether or not that fabled arrogance was a true weakness.
Magnus stepped forward as Namor left his ship, a lone figure on the dock. "Welcome, your Majesty," he greeted him with a politic smile. "I do hope you weren't expecting a parade."
