"Not all good things, sugah". Rogue gently nudged his glass with a gloved hand towards the growing pile of empty ones and folded her arms on the chipped bar counter. "But that was good. Props to you", she reached for another glass and raised it in his direction, green eyes slightly bleary, before she downed the majority of it in a good size gulp. Again, the flame burned in her throat all the way down, sparking a good size fire, before it slowly faded out once more. The effects still hung tight to her.
"Part of the charm? Or part of the mysterious stranger act?" she glanced at him with surprisingly wary, if not amused eyes and ran a covered finger over the rim of the small, half empty shot glass. "Ah' found Jimmy Cricket. Not what ah' was lookin' for, but well, life is like that, ain't it? Nothin' for sure in this world", she smiled faintly in his direction, except for her, everything was certain, down to the very last letter and number. She was quite sure she would always be this way, but really, who knew?
"You sure about that? I'm pretty good at arguin'. You could really be here all night", she said smartly.
