Office Memos: The Gossip Community

People love to talk - especially when that talk involves dirty, scandalous information about others. Much like the hallways in high school and celebrity tabloid magazines, the work place is full of gossip and rumours. Here at Spent Magazine, gossip and rumours run rampant between the cubicles, in the offices, behind the water cooler and around the copy machine.

The boss had never been a people person, so this sort of information was unknown to him. Thinking it would help productivity and perhaps rid of inter-office tensions, the boss created this community. What was originally meant to be an online suggestion forum for office improvements quickly turned into an easy and efficient way to spread rumours about coworkers.

All gossip should remain anonymous - unless you'd like your co-workers to know you've been spreading their dirty laundry about town.

In addition to rumours, you may also post random thoughts, points or insults you would otherwise not have the balls for.

Community Rules

♦ Keep everything in character. We don't want or encourage gossip about the actual players.
♦ Be safe - no posting scary threats.
♦ You may be as vague or specific as you like, but please keep things brief. A novel-sized rumour will not make the cut.
♦ Making up juicy rumours is encouraged. Have fun with it. The nastier and more untrue, the better. We like lies.
♦ If you are considering posting something that is actually true about a character and you are unsure about the player's reaction, feel free to ask for permission. It might ruin the malicious intent, but that's for you to decide.
♦ If you don't want your character's dirt to end up office news, don't share it in the first place. If it's out there, it's a free-for-all. Sorry.
♦ Don't go crazy. Contributing ten trashy stories every day is extremely excessive. One a day should suffice.

Almost everything submitted, unless violating a rule, will be printed. However, we reserve the right to ignore any gossip we mods have a problem with.

There's no need to make anonymous comments - all will be screened and we guarantee that everything will remain anonymous unless you note otherwise.
