Iosef's laughter and laid back complexion ceased to exist for a fleeting moment, as he tried to evaluate whether Nik was serious or not. Or even if Iosef cared either way. After that moment passed, however, Iosef simply shrugged.
"Well. We could manage fine on our own." He commented, looking at his younger brothers in turn. They probably could, too. After all, Nik had been the parent for a lot longer than he rightfully should, and he was good at it.
"Jesus fuck, are you serious?!" He asked Slav, because he was actually getting sick of Nik snapping every five minutes at him and his magazine. "It's not going anywhere, you know?" He continued, a bit more chilled out.
Iosef listened to Gor and Nik with a mild smile of resignation. "I'm going to be sick that day. Hypocrisy gives me diarrhea." He joked, but he was actually being very serious. In the few times Iosef really thought about his parents and their marriage problems, he simply concluded he had no idea why they didn't just call it quits and be done with it. In his humble opinion, that situation might do less damage than the type of crap they were pulling now, even.
"Oh c'mon!" Iosef gave Nik an askew smile. "She's a hard-worker because she tries very hard to keep this family together and happy and give us everything we could possibly need and all that crap." This sentence was said with Iosef trying to imitate their mother's voice and inflections, and he thought he'd done pretty well with it.
