The Ministry can also be reached by floo, apparation and portkey. At the headquarters you will find departments that help govern everyday life for the magical community. From magical animals to games to transportation to law enforcement, the Ministry is here to help you. Positions are always available and interested parties can enquire with our Human Resources department on Level One. Please be prepared to have your wand inspected at the door. Started as a clothing company in 1999, Pansy has become a force in both the Muggle and Wizarding Worlds. Specializing in haute coutre, Pansy also has an afforable line for your average consumer. Sugar n Spice Baker and Cafe
Sugar n Spice is the leading choice for coffee and baked goods in Diagon Alley. Carrying a small group of staple baked goods, the rest of the drinks and food rotate out as the seasons and or holidays come and go. The owner, Hannah Abbott also plans and caters parties and events and more information can be found at the shop itself. As of June 2001 the cafe is closed for repairs after a Death Eater attack, but will reopen soon.

The Endymion
The Endymion is a recent addition to Diagon Alley. Found next door to Sugar n Spice, Endymion is the first pub, dance club and concert venue in the Alley. Started by former Weird Sister Donaghan Tremlett, the Endymion has become a fast favorite of everyone in the younger wizarding crowd. On any given night the club can be packed too compacity. With it's three levels it has something for everyone, from the posh bar to the bare bones concert venue in the basement, eveyone can find something they like. As of June 2001 the Endymion is closed for repairs after a Death Eater attack, but will reopen soon.

Hogsmeade Zoo and Sanctuary
Just opened in June of 2001 after a year in development, many feared the Hogsmeade Zoo and Sanctuary would never open. On the outskirts of Hogsmeade, the zoo and sanctuary boasts that it is home to thousands of animals from the mundane flobberworm to the fantastical Chinese Fireball Dragon. Open everyday, with special hours on Sunday and only closed on major holidays, it is a family favorite.
