Hunter was nervous, to say the least. As much as he'd talked to Rachel and Kurt and the rest of them, he hadn't seen much of any of them since the last time they'd competed against each other. He knew Blaine would be there, at least, which put him a little more at ease. He'd started to develop a kinship with the other former Warbler. Hunter felt comfortable with him, and if nothing else he could always stick near Blaine's side all night.
The '50s theme wasn't daunting at all. Hunter was a classic, casual dresser (when he wasn't in uniform), and so he had all the things he needed in his closet already. The pieces were new, designer, but they were definitely a nod to the past. He wasn't sure if he needed to bring anything, so he just ran by the store and got a bottle of soda and a bag of pretzels, salt to balance out all of the sweet that was likely to be there.
Using his phone GPS, he made his way to Bushwick, a part of New York he had yet to visit. The trains made it easy, though the trip was long, and he spent most of the time texting Sebastian, trying to convince him to come to the party without a lot of initial success. Walking from the train station, Hunter found Kurt and Rachel's building easily, and located their apartment.
He stood in front of the door for a moment, psyching himself up. Feeling a little more settled, Hunter took a deep breath, squared his shoulders, and knocked.
