Breaking News Alert - The snow seems to have slowed, possibly even stopped. It looks like the island is going to have a reprieve from the blizzard as it has finally come to a stop. Please remain cautious as there are drifts that are quite deep.

All residents of the Island. Officials are asking that you please remain indoors and don't go out unless you absolutely have to. The snow continues to fall and at the time of this report now has reached 4 feet.

The current temperatures are in the teens and falling. Please take all precautions for we do not know how long this will last. Stay inside, stay warm and stay safe.

This is a breaking news alert for all residents of the island. Snow has hit, it makes no sense, but that doesn't seem to matter. Snow is falling and it at the rate it is falling it will not take long for it to accumulate. Be prepared!
