Who: Jacoby and Raven
When: Friday Night
Where: Avant Flux

Jacoby smiled and signed the cover of a blonde girl's cd, prentending to listen as she prattled on about just how big a fan she was. As important as their fans were in supporting them and helping them get signed, they were truly awful to talk to. Thank god this one had nice tits.

There were other fans though, prettier ones, whose company he didn't mind. Mostly because they did other things with their time than talk. This one, it seemed, wasn't one of them.

After posing for a photo, the girl went away, leaving J in better company as willing lackeys packed up their equipment. Still, he wasn't satisfied. Looking around, he caught view of his bandmates - Nic supervising the pack up, Shane making moon eyes at his sickening dog of a girlfriend, Gwen and Drake trying to escape a cornering from Katie - but not the person he wanted to see.

Had the mystery girl from the cafe gone home? Hell, had she even shown up? Jacoby hoped she hadn't missed his performance; she was definitely worth taking home.

Raven was there, though she was not some swooning fan girl. Rather she was standing toward the bar, her dark purple corset and skirts, trimmed in black. Her makeup was elaborate, shades of purple going for bright and pale, to dark. Her hair was shaped, sculpted to perfection. Her boots went to mid-calf, with stockings sliding up her legs seductively. She was, of course, the one men seemed to drool over (it worked in her favor, in so far as she needed to buy none of her drinks), and the girl women cast dark looks toward.

But she had her own prey, didn't she?

Smiling secretively, she moved across the floor, 4 inch heels clicking against the wood, and wound her way to where Jacoby was looking about the club. In her hands was a piece of art. A print of a painting that had been done in a week, and from the small sketch she'd made from the coffee shop. Nothing that would win awards, mind you, but it wasn't anything short of perfectly crafted.

Holding it out, she cleared her throat and asked sweetly, and perhaps a bit fan-like, "can I get your autograph?"

A redhead in a low cut top was the frontrunner for Jacoby's attention, but she was almost forgotten as soon as the small, familiar frame of the cafe artist appeared in the periphery of his view. He watched her slink closer in her high heels, seductive and kitten-like. Lovely.

Jacoby smiled. The redhead with the low top tried to lure his attention back to her by pushing out her chest and turning his face to her, but she was too late. Her invitation to go somewhere private was turned down.

Scowling slightly at the competion as it approached, the redhead sighed and moved off, trying to impress Nic with her gravity-challenged rack, but J was far too busy to notice that.

He looked at the small painted piece he'd been given. Like the one she was working on in the cafe, only this was complete. Jacoby let his pen hover over it. "And who do I make it out to?"

"Make it out to...'My number one fan'," Raven said with a coyish smile, eyes dipped down as she lifted one perfectly painted nail to her lips. She looked at him through the soft curls that tumbled over her eyes, and almost laughed, but not quite.

As for the trout that had been talking with him? She considered herself a savior for having rescued Jacoby Wilkes from a badly dressed, whoreish-monster of the Gothic depths. The sea was tragically filled with the less than talented, and less than remarkable. But it had the occasion 'worst in show' to display as well.

Nothing anywhere as near the prefection that Jabocy and Raven could achieve in simply existing.

Vain? That would have been a kind way of saying it. She was a sin made flesh and had little care in what people thought of it. Her greatest fear, nearly, was growing out and one day to be faced with the inevitable decay of glamor and beauty.

Though she was an artist. Perhaps she would die a tragic, but remember-able death.

It was just a thought, at least.

He gave the pint-sized artist one of his best 'pretty' smiles and signed the piece of paper with an elaborate signature that flicked and curled on longer letters. When he'd finished, Jacoby handed it back to the mystery woman.

She was a captivating creature; small but perfectly formed. Her perky little breasts were just right for the woman's dainty frame and her legs, by no means long, were trim and sculpted out of ivory. Much softer though, probably much warmer. Jacoby would have liked to find out for certain, though.

"Am I not worthy of knowing your name? If you're my number one fan, I'd think you'd permit me to call you something other than that," he told her.

"Worthy?" Rae tilted her head to the side, looking at him curiously for a moment, before shrugging and looking down at the picture with a bashful sort of manner. "But wouldn't that ruin all the mystery?" She smiled as she glanced up at him through curls.

"Or...maybe you should try to figure it out." She stepped back, looking up at him like a woman that was willing to let him chase. If he went for the first easy bed he could climb into, well he wasn't really worth her time anyway. (Not to mention a complete, bloody idiot.)

Ruin the mystery? He hadn't thought of it that way...but then why would he? His plan of attack was fairly simple: find out her name, take her home and bid her farewell in the morning. Girls were usually more than willing to go along with that. he hadn't there to be some sort of chase involved.

"Figure it out? But there are thousands of names out there! How am I supposed to guess yours?" he asked, raising a brow at the petite woman. "Especially since it probably won't be something commonplace."

"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. You won't know until you find out, will you?" She smiled at him, before looking about the club. She was not his groopie, and it seemed he would really need a lesson in that.

"Thank you for the autograph," she said with a look back at him. "I think I'll go dance a bit now...have a bit of fun."

"And how do you suggest I find out?" Jacoby smiled, but the smile soon faded when he saw the girl looking away from him. Away from him. No girl had ever done that to him before, not without a good reason. Was she here with a friend who had wandered off? Why wasn't she looking at him?!

Jacoby opened his mouth and shut it again. She was going to dance? To dance with who? Why wasn't she staying? Didn't she want to bask in his glory?

This had to be a trick. Some evil, evil trick concocted by Nic. No, not Nic, Nic would never think of something like that. Shane was too stupid, so that left only Drake. Maybe he'd paid her to ignore him, she certainly wouldn't do it out of choice.

Well, he wasn't going to let Drake win this one. As the woman walked away, J followed. She couldn't ignore him all night.

She didn't mind that he followed, stepping out onto the dance flow she let the music find her. It reached down and and pulled at the strings that bent, and twisted her body in such a way that she seemed to be one. It was intoxicating, and she let it carry her above the crowds, turning so that she could glance at Jacoby from time to time, but in no way allowed him too dominate her in anyway.

By this point, the almight Jacoby Wilkes was not feeling so mighty. Miss...whatever her name was had hit the floor, and although she wasn't ignoring him completely she certainly wasn't giving him the amount of attention he deserved.

Drake must've given her a lot of money then. Well, he'd just have to work a little harder.

Pushing a competitor - if you could really call it that - out of the way, J moved into her eyeline, trying to get a little closer, a little more difficult to snub. He didn't give in easily.

Jacoby might have truly wished that Drake had paid her, but in reality...Rae was only giving J simply a taste of his own medicine. The idea that his ego was the only thing that needed to be stroked.

Arms up above her head, she gave him coy glances as she moved to the beat of the music, her little tongue peeking out to role along the edge of her lip in a seductive little manner.

This...he didn't like this. By now, most girls would be swooning, bribe or no, but this one was just...carrying on regardless.

Jacoby moved closer to her, determined to break her bubble of ignorance. "How many guesses do I get?" he asked, mouth nearly brushing her ear.

"As many as you like," she countered, looking up at him finally. Her lashes blinked once, and she smiled at him in a coy manner. "As many as it takes."
