It was childish, but Adrienne liked that quality about it. There was nothing wrong with doing things you enjoyed as a child, especially if those things brought you happiness. Adrienne was happy that Zach had set this up for her, and it showed in every smile that the werewolf cast toward the alchemist.
He was everything she ever wanted, and the more she was with him the more she considered herself the luckiest girl in the world. She found the love of her life by a twist of fate, and Adrienne didn't think that many people had that chance in their life. She knew with all of her being that she was meant to be with Zach. And yes, those butterflies were there in her stomach as they leaned in to kiss.
Zach didn't waste any time in handing over the box, and Adrienne's smile turned brighter (if that was even possible). She shook it playfully after Zach told her to open it, but proceeded to unwrap the gift. The werewolf pushed aside the fabric wrapping and ribbon, and lifted the lid. "Oh Zach!" She said as she lifted the fur coat from the box. Adrienne buried her face in the fur collar, and then smoothed her hand over the body of the coat.
"It's beautiful!" She said as she threw her arms around his neck. Not only was it beautiful, but it was a really thoughtful gift as well. With winter just beginning in the haven, Adrienne could use the jacket whenever she went outside. She pulled back from Zach. "Whenever I wear it, I'll imagine that you've got your arms around me," she said. A slight blush formed across her cheeks as she realized just how cheesy that sounded.
