Umeko could have flipped out right then and there. Nico and her had so much in common. She couldn't have helped but make a loud "Oh my god!" noise. Probably one of the only truly girly things she did. Of course, seeing a spider was the second thing. She nearly became a damsel in distress when she saw one of those nasty critters. If she thought about that for too long it would ruin the moment!
"California!?" She could see that in him. If he wasn't a resident all his life, California sunk into him long ago. "God, Surfing must be killer. When summer returns here we got to catch some waves!" Umeko thought back to when she scared him as a panda. "And well, judging by how well you run, you must be one hell of a hiker as well as in shape." The therianthrope took a small bite out of her sandwhich.
"I actually was at Los Angeles! You know EA games? I worked for them. I'm originally from Japan, but I worked like all of my life to be a video game designer. EA games works with a lot of sports and sometimes RPG and action games. You know their whole motto was "challenge everything?" that was where I worked! First, I tested games and then I began to help design the characters, settings, how the levels worked, things like that! My goal was to run a porfolio over at Squaresoft because I love roleplaying games. but I was fine at EA games since I was about to get promoted before everything went to shit."
She sighed sadly, but then perked up. "OH! And I've met Zach before! He's cute." She winked. "Of course not as cute as you."
