Who: Theora and Elliot
When: Afternoon
Where: Elliot's forest cottage
What: Thanking Elliot in person for the flowers

The walk to the forest cottages was relaxing despite the chill in the air. Today was a good day for the priestess, and for Elysium in general with the return of the kidnapped girls. They wouldn't have to worry about Dante's madness any further, and things could go on as they had before the entire situation. The priestess looked around at the blanket of white that covered the land, and it felt as if the snow was meant to cleanse the haven of the recent negativity. Everything was fresh, and clean, and Theora took a deep breath into her lungs.

The morning had been busy for the priestess, and with her afternoon free she made her way toward the forest cottages to visit a one Elliot Brenton. She remembered meeting the young man at the café on Wednesday, and he was kind enough to send her flowers on Friday. The least Theora could do was thank him for the lovely gift in person. After all, it was not every day that Theora was given flowers.

Her steps left footprints in the snow, and there were marks left from the hem of her robes dragging behind her. She had looked up the young man's address through the records at Town Hall, and she made her way to his cottage easily. She paused on the doorstep, and brushed the snow from her robes. Theora knocked on the door twice, and waited patiently for Elliot to answer. When he did she smiled brightly.

"Good afternoon, Elliot," she said. "Would you mind if I entered your home?"

[info]this_is_true
Who: Kelckek, Theora, and Open
When: Morning,
Where: Water Bungalows
What: A very eventful Birthday... Maybe...

The early sun filled the room with the graceful pinks and yellows of morning as Kelchek opened his eyes to the new day. "Hhuhhh." He sighed with relief, thankful to have woken up. His muscles still ached as Zane said they would, but he managed to sit up with little trouble. He was definitely a sight for sore eyes with his short brown hair all a mess, his facial hair wild and scruffy, and his body hunched over in discomfort. At least he was no longer tired, although he was sure he looked it as he nearly fell off of the full sized bed in an attempt to straighten his posture. He had never liked slouching, or the awkwardness that came with this pain. Grace and poise had always been a part of him.

He slowly scanned the room. So this is my room... He hardly believed himself. My house. Lost in his thoughts he sat there dazed, trying to find something that seemed even vaguely like his, something that felt like home. He found nothing. This room was no more his than anyones. He turned his head away from the foreign room and back to the pillow, his pillow? He eyes caught sight of a small note left on the end table.

"BED REST"

"Whatever." Kelchek scoffed, unsure whether or not to take it seriously. Zane had been more than helpful and kind, but he always viewed "doctor" as an acquired taste. A taste that he hadn't acquired. Let's see how well this works. He slowly placed his feet firmly against the chilled wooden floor and applied enough pressure to test his knees for stability. So far so good. He managed to stand, but left one hand on the bed for support. Taking his first few steps was a little bit more than shaky, but it soon became easier.

He wanted to leave this unfamiliar place, leave and run back home to his small apartment in New York. )

[info]kytherion
Who: Lysander and Theora
When: afternoon
Where: Helicharis, wandering about
What: Lysander steals a few moments to explore alone

He had the sneaking suspicion that Xanthus had lied to him and was currently stalking him just out of eyesight. Lysander knew that his training had been directed for a very specific purpose, a very important, singularly important purpose; just now, however, he was wishing that he was better at tracking things. Or at least noticing them.

"Oh," Lysander suddenly derailed in a quiet, curious tone as he looked through a glass window (a substance he was only mildly familiar with) to see colored glass twisted into artistic shapes that defied description. He came to a halt and cupped his hands on either side of his face to block the afternoon sun from interfering with his view into the room. The glass shape before him was a cool blue that swirled up like an ocean wave might against a cliff side. He was sure it was supposed to be used for something, but Lysander couldn't guess what. It's beautiful lack of symmetry took it out of the running for a vessel of some kind.

He moved slowly across the window, breath leaving a trail high on the window as he examined each piece. Having never seen an art exhibit before, he couldn't make the necessary comparison to it. It stole his attention thoroughly, even as the white fur wrapped about his shoulders began to slip down, cockeyed on his frame.

[info]alloveragain
Who: Elliot & Theora
When: Lunchtime
Where: The Café
What: Elliot makes a fool out of himself

Waiting tables was exciting for Elliot under the pressure of an escaped convict. Elliot heard rumors from table to table. He delivered a coffee and pastries to a woman animatedly conversing with friends on the subject of how the victims died. Punctured, drained of all their blood and hung on hooks. Elliot blanched, thoroughly grossed out. Texas Chainsaw Massacre much?

Then he served club sandwiches to a couple discussing a frame job. The murderer made it look like a vampire committed the crimes. Someone else got arrested. It explained the puncturing rumor. Elliot tried to stop his mouth from shooting off but he had to say something. He leaned over their table, innocently curious.

“Do they know why he framed it on a vampire?”

The woman beckoned him closer. “They say he hates vampires. Absolutely despises them. I think he’s vampirist. You know like racist but with vampires.”

“Ah.” Elliot nodded. What a load of crock.

He left the couple, looked for a new customer. Elliot tapped his pencil to his chin. Then he spotted her. A tall graceful statue of a goddess strolling into his café. Elliot looked up and mouthed ‘thank you’ to the powers watching over him. He made a beeline for her table, pencil and notepad ready.

“Hi,” said Elliot. He wore his best inviting smile, used his best sultry voice. “How may I be of service today?” He made a finger gun at her. “For you?”

[info]elunesgrace
Who: Theora (Narrative)
When: Early morning
Where: Town Square
What: Putting together search parties.

The haven was in an uproar following the discovery of Dante’s escape from the dungeons. It was still a mystery to those investigating the scene, but the most pressing matter of the moment was the apprehension of the sociopath. And if that wasn’t enough for the council, and the authorities to deal with they also had to factor in the presence of possibly two hostages – Adrienne Conté and Dione Castel.

A town meeting was called in the early morning hours. The citizens had a right to know what was happening, but to also gather volunteers for the upcoming search parties. While the guards in Elysium were very capable there was a higher chance of success when more people were incorporated. The powers of the citizens could not be overlooked, and if they worked together Dante would have very little chance of escaping.

Theora stood behind the podium in front of the gathering crowd. Once the din of whispers died down she began to speak. “People of Elysium we have called you forth in order to ask for your assistance concerning the situation with Dante Donovan. I will not lie to you; he is a very dangerous man, and he has taken two young women captive in his escape. We ask for your assistance in this matter. There is much land to cover, and we simply do not have enough guards to traverse the land efficiently. This is a volunteer mission, and please do not feel obligated to extend your services. We also ask that everyone lock your doors tightly tonight. We are still unsure of Dante’s whereabouts, but we will do everything in our power to keep all of you safe.”

Theora stepped down from the podium, and opened herself for questions from the citizens.

OOC: If your character is interested in being part of a search party please comment here. Put "Note to the Council" in the subject, and write a little something that expresses your character's desire to volunteer.

[info]elunesgrace
Who: Theora and Dione
When: Afternoon
Where: Town Hall / Conference Room
What: Questioning Dione about her presence at the temple during the showdown

If there was anything that the priestess had learned over her lifetime it was the fact that everything in the world had an antithesis. Every positive thought, emotion, or action had an equally negative aspect to it. Their haven, peaceful as it was, would experience some chaos eventually. It was this knowledge, this passive anticipation that allowed her to remain calm when she was told the news about Danté's rampage through Helicharis. It was tragic as violence often was, but it did not trouble her as much as it troubled others. This wasn't to say that she didn't care because Theora cared very much, she just didn't let any potential confusion or sadness over the event cloud her judgment.

Reading over the witness accounts of the event Theora found it very odd that a blind woman was present during the altercation in the Market Place, and at the temple. She wondered what the girl's connection to the entire situation could be, and as a result she sent a guard to Dione Castel's water bungalow to summon the girl. Theora did not suspect anything of the medium, and she had every intention of questioning the other witnesses in due time; but she couldn't escape the tugging feeling in her that there might have been more to this one's story. It was intuition on Theora's part, and it was hard to find any given moment when Theora's intuition had been incorrect.

The priestess waited patiently in one of the conference rooms for Dione's arrival. She had instructed the guard to show the woman the utmost respect, and to give her all the time she needed to ready herself for the questions. The guard had taken a covered buggy to pick up the girl since the walk from the bungalows was quite a distance, and the weather was not exactly pristine. It would keep the girl safe on the road, and make her feel more like a guest rather than someone suspected of a crime. Dione had not committed a crime from what she read, and apart from the cane swinging incident involving Nicolas Vega-Fernandez and James Ross the woman was a quiet bystander during the entire ordeal. So why then was she there at all? That was the question Theora hoped to answer.

[info]headcouncil
Who: Everyone!
When: Evening
Where: The Arts and Trade Enclave
What: Grand Opening of the Enclave! Elected Vice Council members are announced! Not to mention, there’s a par-tay!

Tonight was the night for the Grand Opening of the Arts and Trade Enclave. After many careful months of renovating the original buildings located near the tip of the northern mountains, it was completed at last. What was once an old village had been turned into an enclave for learning and the arts, which had been deemed important by the Head Council for the community of Elysium. The public lacked a place to pursue their love of the arts and finer crafts, and now it was made possible for them with supplies, teachers, and more. It was one of the finest ideas for the haven’s people. Hopefully, it would come to fulfill the extra needs of the citizens.

As for the party itself, they had gone all out for the occasion. Gold and white ribbons decorated everything from the doors to the windows to the eaves of the roof, and everyone was dressed up for the occasion. Both inside and outside of the building, there were long tables dedicated to serving snack foods and beverages to the attendees. The ballroom was open, serving as a dance floor for the evening with live music, and even the patio beyond was lit by glowing lanterns and a full crowd of mingling people.

The party had been going on for no more than thirty minutes so far when it was time for the Head Council to announce the elected members of Vice Council. The music ceased temporarily out on the patio as the three of them made an appearance on the stage in place of the entertainment for the evening.

“Welcome, everyone!” Dylan announced with a smile. )

[info]elunesgrace
Who: Theora, Daiyu, and Jia
When: Late Morning
Where: Theora's Office, Town Hall
What: Theora requests Daiyu and Jia's help with something very important

It had been over two months since Kaiya and Faye had been killed, and still they weren't any closer to solving the mystery. It was frustrating, but that didn't mean that they gave up. Theora especially kept vigilant with the tasks given to her. She worked alongside the staff at the Medical Pavilion to find a way of identifying the strands of hair collected from evidence at the scene. It wasn't easy trying to find magical ways of DNA identification, but in the end (almost a week ago now) they were able to create a successful method. Of course, they still had to collect comparative hair samples in order for the test to work in the first place.

The priestess sighed as her mind raced with all of those thoughts. She pinched the bridge of her nose while she sat at her desk. Even the priestess, who had lived for almost eight-hundred years and had experienced almost everything imaginable, found it hard to believe that their haven, their Elysium, had a murderer amongst its citizens. Even after all the turmoil caused from the virus, and the war, there were some who still had the urge to hurt and kill. It saddened the priestess, but it also made her more determined to find the culprit once and for all.

It was the reason she had summoned Daiyu and Jia Wei to her office that morning. She had discovered that they were psychometrics, praeternaturals with the ability to see an object's past, and experiences. It was the perfect way to discover who had killed the two innocent fae with the only piece of evidence they had managed to collect from the scene: a thin, gold necklace. A trinket to some, but within its woven strands held the secret to the killer's identity. Why they hadn't thought of this sooner was beyond Theora, but at least they had thought of it now, and perhaps it was still not too late to prevent the madman from striking again.

Who: Theora and Dylan
When: Around 2 PM
Where: Arts & Trade Enclave
What: Making sure everything is set up for the grand opening

The steady beat of hooves echoed through the trees of the Northern forest as Theora made her way toward the Arts and Trade Enclave. The fresh, winter air invigorated the priestess and her steed. The Elven stallion ran hard and fast over the path, kicking up a flurry of snow with each stride. Theora's hair was flowing behind her as her hands gripped onto the reins tightly. The trip to the enclave would have taken at least twenty or so minutes, but Theora made it in less than ten.

Horse and rider didn't slow down until they reached the base of the stairs that led up to the newly renovated building. Theora dismounted, and tied her horse in the corral before she ascended the numerous steps to the enclave. The priestess had arranged to meet Dylan in order to perform a final inspection before the grand opening. The Head Council had been eagerly awaiting the completion of the project in order to announce it to the citizens. It would give the people another area to visit outside of Helicharis, and hopefully lift their spirits.

The priestess entered the building, and shook the snow from the hem of her gown. She removed the cape she had been wearing, and slung it over the back of one of the chairs that stood in the entrance. "Dylan?" She called out. Theora's voice resonated along the high walls and ceiling of the foyer, and she took a few more steps into the building. "Dylan, are you here?" Theora peeked into the architectural wing, but found nothing. Perhaps she had just come too early? With a slight shrug she made her way toward one of the cushioned benches and sat down. She had no other choice than to wait. Thankfully, the priestess was a patient woman.

Who: Zane and Theora
When: Evening
Where: Medical Pavilion / Lab
What: Discussing current research

There had been very little progress in the homicide investigation that the Head Council was conducting. The only witness to the crime had passed out before he could see anything, and the only thing that was left behind was a gold necklace. Several strands of blonde hair were caught in between the fine, gold weaving. It was their only clue, and while it didn't provide any immediate answers it was better than nothing.

The Head Council had employed the help of the medical staff at the pavilion. Their experience in biology and chemistry was the key to gleaning some information from those wayward strands of hair. It was a difficult endeavor especially since they lacked any equipment that could test and compare the DNA found in the hair. DNA was the only concrete thing they could count on.

But the medical team knew... )

Who: Devin, Constance, Theora and Dylan
When: Afternoon
Where: Town Hall
What: Devin tells some important information

Oh the world was fucking ending. Usually Devin just let things be, but he found himself cursing quite a few times while he headed to the Town Hall. He never really said hello to anyone as per usual while he made his way down Helicharis and to the area. He figured he better smoke as many cigarettes as he could because he had gotten in trouble for smoking in the area before and he had no idea how long it was going to take once at the Town Hall.

When he arrived he let his voice ring out. “Hello?” He was so out of there if no one was there and he was letting his conscious fall back to the pits of hell. “Hello?” Christ, there were people there. He cleared his throat as he began to speak to the three people he encountered. He wasn’t one for being intimidated, so he spoke up.

“Listen. I have something important to say. You make appointments? If you do, then I’ll probably not want to talk to you. But if you have time now, you’d be making my day. Oh! And thank you for nominating me. I still need to get my ass moving on that.” He smiled quite normally and found a seat nearby to make himself comfortable.

Who: Theora [Narrative]
When: 6 PM
Where: Town Hall
What: Town Meeting regarding curfew

Theora stood at the front of the crowd, her usually calm demeanor replaced with a stern and strict facade. She was addressing a serious issue, and that called forth the austere side of her personality. She glanced over the crowd, waiting for the citizens to settle down before she spoke to them in a clear voice.

"Citizens of Elysium," she said in an even tone. She seemed so different this way, and it might have come as a shock for some to see her so strict. "In light of the recent homicides that have taken place, The Head Council has come to the decision that a curfew shall be placed upon the town and the people effective immediately. All citizens, from this point on, are required to be within their homes by 8 PM. If you are found roaming outside past this hour, you will immediately be escorted to your home."

The crowd broke out in whispers and confused looks. Theora ignored it, and cleared her throat to speak louder. "This is not a decision that can be debated. The Head Council is doing this for the safety of all citizens in our haven, which is our highest priority. There will also be an increased number of guards patrolling around the town, especially after curfew hours. We do not mean for this to be an inconvenience; however, this is the best way to keep all of you safe." She looked around the crowd, almost challenging anyone to argue with the decree of the Head Council.

[info]headcouncil
Who: Dylan, Theora, and Constance
When: 8:00 AM
Where: The Wellspring, located in Town Hall.
What: Dreadful news has reached the Head Council regarding the havens in The Bahamas and Norfolk Island . . .

After discussing the harpy attack yesterday, the council all agreed upon the reason for it lying within the trespassing youths a few days ago. Harpies were not known for their pleasantness, and Theora would go to the harpies and speak with him in hopes to calm the animals not to trespass the dwellings outside of their mountains if it was promised no more of their kind would trespass in the harpies' territory. They were territorial creatures and reason was not much within their capabilities. However, the High Priestess would hopefully be able to speak reason to them.

Now, they all stood before the Wellspring. It was an elaborate fountain made of ten basins, an Elven construction of communication between the havens. In the largest basin, the water would capture the image and voices of Elysium's Head Council and allow other havens to see them and hear them speak. Surrounding the largest basin were nine smaller basins, though all were large enough to reflect the faces of the council members from all around the world. Two of the smaller basins, however, were empty and had no faces to reflect.

"So," Dylan concluded out loud as all of the discussion came to a sudden silence over the councils, "The Bahamanian haven is not here tonight, and Norfolk Island has been silent for almost a month — and we have no idea what has happened to either one of them."

"We have not heard from The Bahamanian haven for two weeks," a councilman of Sri Lanka announced anxiously. "All communications have been silent across the board. This we have already discussed," he said urgently.

“We should send scouts, each haven,” a councilwoman of Mai-Ndombe suggested. “We may find out what happened.” )

[info]nosuchthings
Who: Everyone (who isn’t already in a thread during this time)
When: 2 to 5 PM
Where: All over Helicharis
What: The harpy attack!

The harpies had been planning.

By most standards and definitions those particular praeternatural creatures were not intelligent. They had no real form of speech or civilization to speak of; however, they were capable of plotting vengeance. They wanted revenge against the interloper that had stolen into their nesting area in the middle of the night, the one who had burned some of their children and killed a few of their females. They knew not who the attacker was exactly, only that they had seen him retreating toward the village. That was enough for them.

A small fraction of the flock had gathered to attack the humans and other praeternaturals in Helicharis. They had no ‘real’ plan other than to wreak havoc, but at least it was something they were skilled in. Their shrill, ear-piercing cries, sharp claws, and razor sharp teeth were enough to cause a few injuries, and to scare the citizens into a frenzy.

The grotesque creatures set out from their nest, flying rapidly toward Helicharis and the unsuspecting citizens. Their numbers created a veritable black cloud in the sky, the flapping of their wings brought forth an ominous sound that seemed to resonate throughout the valley. Once they neared Helicharis the lead harpy let out a high-pitched shriek that could be likened to a banshee. It was the only warning the people would get before the swarm descended upon them.

Unnatural as they were, the harpies were masterful fliers; their maneuverability in the air unmatched by even the most graceful birds of prey. Ungainly and sometimes clumsy on the ground, the harpies preferred to stay in the air as they attacked the people with careful swoops and well-placed claws. Their attack was only made worse by the rain that refused to stop falling.

[info]lokithemuse
Who: Loki, Dominic, and Guests
When: 12:00 PM
Where: The Tiki Hut
What: Loki announces the news of his departure to his friends.

With the winter weather setting in, it was less and less likely people were going to use The Tiki Hut very much. However, there were two events booked for today and one of them was Loki's very own get-together with a group of friends he had made while here in Elysium. It wasn't meant to be a big party, just a small cookout of sorts with a handful of people. Dominic helped with the barbecue, and Loki set up the drinks for the event on the bar for people to easily grab whenever they got thirsty.

There were no big decorations up yet, and The Tiki Hut looked like it usually did under the simple lights of the establishment. They weren't using the dance floor, and there wasn't any music playing. Loki and his friends secured a little corner of the bar and some of the restaurants' tables beside the beach with the barbecue set-up.

Everyone was here already, mixing and mingling amongst each other, while Loki walked off for a moment to talk with Mitsuko in private before they returned to everyone else. He was going to break the news of his departure to her first before he told the rest of them. Hopefully, she wouldn't storm off from him during the party. Loki wasn't sure how his announcement was going to go once he let it out of the bag.

OOC: Post any sort of threads you want below! Dominic wants to meet some of his friends, and group subthreads are a-okay. Loki is going to have a scene with Mitsuko first, but then others later!

[info]headcouncil
WHO: Open to anyone who wants to attend.
WHEN: Just after sunset.
WHERE: Northern Forest, near Van'taurë Lake.
WHAT: Faye and Kaiya's funeral.

Funerals in the most common fae tradition involved simple pyres to burn the bodies of the dead. It was an old tradition used to hide the bodies of the deceased, even in death, from the eyes of prying outsiders. Humans became known for ruining sacred ground by building their cities upon them or digging up the dead and, especially as time worn on, cremation became commonplace for most fae communities in the last few centuries. At Faye and Kaiya’s funeral, two elaborate pyres had been constructed in their honor near Van'taurë Lake.

The funeral began as a march. All those who attended walked a path from the edge of the forest to the location of the pyres by the lake. The journey to death had to be taken by all, and the crowd walked together with the people carrying the bodies of the deceased upon wooden carriers.

The colors of death were draped over their bodies. White was the color of death. Each woman wore a white dress, a white sheet draped over the lower half of their bodies, and white veils placed over their faces. Each of them held a bouquet of white sweet pea flowers in their hands. White poppy petals littered their dresses and the sheets over them.

When the march finally ended, they arrived at the pyres and stood at attention close to the lake. There were no seats. Faye and Kaiya were taken to their respective pyres and carried up to the top of the complicated structures. There, they were placed, and those who took them up the pyres returned to the ground. A song was sung by a choir of faes as the pyres were lit. All that could be done was to watch the fires rise up the pyres as attendees paid their respects by aiding the deceased into the afterlife with their presence.

[info]elunesgrace
Who: Everyone
When: Afternoon
Where: Town Hall
What: The nominees for the Vice Council are announced!

The Head Council had been busy as of late with the homicides of Faye Capricia and Kaiya Sato. It had filled the priestess's heart with much sorrow knowing that someone had deliberately taken the lives of the innocent fae. Not only that, but it was done by a fellow citizen, someone who lived in the haven with them all. The question on the priestess's mind was how were they to ensure everyone's safety when the danger came from within?

Theora didn't have much time to ponder that question, however, since it was time to announce the nominees for the Vice Council. She put on a smile for the gathered crowd, and stepped up to the podium to speak. "Citizens of Elysium," she began, her aura exuding a calm glow to ease the worries of the people. "Thank for you for coming out her today to meet those who have been nominated for the Vice Council positions. I will call out the names of those who have been nominated, and, if they so wish he, or she, may accept the nomination and give a short speech to the audience. However, if the nominee wishes to decline, they may do so as well."

The priestess waited for the small whispers in the crowd to die down before she continued. She looked at her paper with the names of all of those who had been nominated. Hopefully, some of them would be here today to accept their nomination. She began to read from the list slowly, as to give each nominee time to respond.

"Amada Ontiveros-Smith... Beatrice Darcy-Bertrnd... Corisanthias Xyllaniasodas... Devin Blair... Dominic Powell... Giles Audley... Leon Saunders... Malcolm Gray... Midori Kamiyama... Peter Ross... Pietro Conté... Sascha Connolly... Scarlet Faherty... Travis Nielsen... Zane Smith."

Theora allowed each person who accepted their nomination a few moments to speak to the crowd, stating why they would be good for one of the Vice Council positions. Once they were finished with their miniature speeches, Theora took to the podium once more.

"Our candidates will now begin their campaigning to garner your votes. This will continue until January of next year, when you will be placing our final votes for the positions. Thank you again for your time, and may Elune be with you."

Notes on the nominees. )

Who: Adam and Theora
When: Nighttime.
Where: Theora's tree cottage.
What: An elemental/elf sleepover. This should be interesting!

Adam hadn't been in the mood to go to the festivities tonight. Even though he'd helped with the decorations and setting things up, he wasn't up for actual participation. Theora had offered to keep him company for All Hallow's Eve, and she requested his company at her home. He felt bad at first for keeping her from the festival, but Theora insisted to spend the night with him. Adam accepted the offer and found himself at her tree cottage before evening settled upon them.

They sat on the floor of her sitting room, which was littered with pillows, as a fireplace roared quietly nearby. Each of them were covered in blankets to keep warm, and Adam wore his holiday-themed pajamas with matching slippers. Theora, too, was dressed in pajamas fitting for the weather. With steaming cups of herbal tea, they were watching a movie together on a television Theora recently added to her home. If they were going to stay in for the night, there weren't many opportunities aside from talking, doing activities, working, or watching movies. Since everyone else was enjoying their night, Adam and Theora resolved they were going to enjoy their night as well.

Theora's herbal tea was the best Adam had ever tasted, and he closed his eyes as he took a sip from it. The warmth spread all throughout his body rather quickly, a small smile appearing on his lips. He opened his eyes, placing down his cup. On the television, The Corpse Bride was playing to suit the occasion of All Hallow's Eve. Adam was enjoying the movie, especially since he he had never seen it before. Adam never watched much television back home, but he liked this movie because it was made with clay figures and that was very neat.

Pumpkin shaped lanterns were strung between wooden poles that surrounded the Ancient Elven Tree, as were garlands of orange, yellow and red leaves. There were group of elves who were busy carving jack-o-laterns, while a group of fae were stringing together flowers for crowns. A group of dryads were urging the trees around them to deposit more of their leaves on the ground, and using their powers change them into brilliant colors.

"Priestess!" A small fae fluttered up to the Elven maiden, her hands holding a half-finished wreath. "I need more Canterbury Bells and Bunny Tail Grass!"

Theora turned to the young fae, taking the unfinished wreath into her hand. "Well this is a perfectly good crown as it is. Do you really need more flowers for it?"

The fae's face turned somber, and her wings drooped a little. It was very obvious that she wanted the flowers to finish her wreath, and Theora just did not have the heart to say no. She sighed a little though there was a very clear smile upon her face. The priestess reached out a hand, her fingers underneath the fae's chin to lift it upward. She smiled at the young fae. "I will gather some for you, but you must be patient since I must travel back to the temple in town."

The small fae beamed brightly, and hugged the priestess around her neck. "Thank you!" She squeaked before she flew away with her wreath.

Theora took a deep breath and prepared for the walk back to the temple. She spotted Adam helping with some of the decorations by the Ancient Elven Tree, and she walked over toward the elemental. He had offered his help when the preparations first began, and while he outwardly looked happy Theora sensed some turmoil coming from deep within him. "Adam!" She called out to him, her hand waving in the air. "Would you mind escorting me to the temple? We have not had a chance to spend time with one another, and I would very much like your company as we travel."

Who: Zane and Amada
When: Afternoon
Where: Their water bungalow
What: Zane surprises Amada with some lunch

"Honey, I'm home!" Zane called out when he entered the bungalow, his arms laden with two large bags from the café. The doctor had stopped by the café to pick up some lunch for himself and Amada. His wife had been working hard on her art in the spare room that they had converted into her studio. She had been so focused lately that Zane rarely saw her outside of the studio unless it was time to go to sleep or wake up. Her concentration, although good for her work, was detrimental to her health, and she had gotten sick as a result.

"Hey babe," said the doctor as he entered the bedroom where his wife was snuggled under the covers. Zane began to unpack the two bags of food onto the dresser, pulling out sandwiches, soup, and some fruit. "I brought us some lunch." He turned around and held up a hand to stop her from speaking. "I know, I know, you can take care of yourself," he said with a smirk. "But can't a man take care of his wife sometime?" He chuckled a little. "Now I'm not a genius in the kitchen like you, hence picking up stuff at the café."

Using his powers, Zane levitated bowls, spoons, and plates from the kitchen and floated them through the living room and toward their bedroom. They arrived moments later, and Zane emptied the soup into a bowl for Amada first. It was still hot, and Zane blew on it gently to cool it for his wife. He walked over toward the bed, and settled upon it next to her. "Think you can feed yourself," he asked with a smirk. "Or do you want me to feed you?" He scooped up some of the soup with the spoon and began to make airplane noises as it hovered in the air. "Open wide! I'm coming in for a landing!" Zane chuckled a bit, hoping the small bit of humor would make Amada feel better.
