Who: Adio and Nikita
When: Late Afternoon
Where: The Restaurant
What: Nikita just has to ruin things doesn't she?

Though it was a rainy day, Adio felt pretty good. At first the past few days weren't all that well when he found his sister in the Medical Pavilion, but things began to get better. He made sure that he and his older sister took turns in making sure Sanura was progressing and she seemed to totally evade the entire situation when asked about what happened. Sanura slept a lot and didn't even give off a description of her attacker. She didn't even say she was attacked though Adio found it obvious. Adio didn't think that it was a good idea for Sanura to just try and forget it all. But he knew that currently he didn't want to force his sister to talk about what happened.

Besides being worried sick about his sister, Adio was smiling somewhat like an idiot. He felt like a kid in elementary school when thinking about seeing someone that he was growing increasingly fond of. Freya was unique and he really liked her. Though he knew he was super awkward and maybe hard to get through at times, the two had a lot of fun together. He visited her often at the Ceramics Shop and often times she would peak in at the Medical Pavilion to see how he was doing. He liked how it was slow moving, casual and it was also like a friendship.

Okay, but he did love the kiss on the rooftop. Sometimes, the whole old fashion scenarios you picture in your head and or movies still exist.

It was Jamile's turn to watch Sanura and Adio made way to the restaurant to get something to eat. The Therianthrope found himself not eating as much on the downside of things due to his worries about his sister.

He ordered from a male who was quite friendly but didn't expect to be greeted soon after by someone far less friendly.

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio, Leo and Shawn
When: Late Afternoon
Where: Medical Pavilion
What: Treating the two boys after the nasty encounter with the harpies

Adio for some reason had a sense that something good was going to happen today. Of course this made him do useless things around the Pavilion like throw a pencil towards the ceiling and see if he could catch it with the bridge of his nose. So far, the best he had done was almost poke his eye out. The only reason he had time to do anything of the stupid nature, was because there was nothing to do other than make conversation or maybe stock items. What a quiet day. It was driving him crazy.

He figured he would just leave and go to the market so he waved goodbye to the few people at the Pavilion before he made way towards the exit. What was it? Why did he feel more upbeat than usual? Maybe it was the three cups of coffee. But usually he was crashed out on a desk by now near snoozing.

When he was almost at the door, he spotted two individuals heading towards the Pavilion. They were somewhat far off still, but he could tell they didn’t appear to be in the best of shape. After jogging to their aid, he looked them over, a brow furrowing in concern. They looked even worse now that he was up close. “What the hell happened to you two?” He started to usher them towards the Pavilion. “Here come inside.”

Who: Jamile, Adio and Sanura
When: Evening
Where: Towards then at Adurile Cottage
What: Reunion!

“Okay thank you!” Jamile waved at a civilian who directed her further down the road heading further towards the cottages that seemed to be neatly placed around Helicharis. Elysium was going to be a surreal experience for her. Though she felt frozen when she first arrived, the temperatures near alien, the friendly people and the hope that she would see her siblings warmed her up. She described them in vivid detail along with the pictures she had of them which were somewhat old. When she heard people recall the female especially she almost felt tears stain her eyes. But she had gotten her hopes up before.

If her siblings were indeed here, they were lucky. Her haven in Africa was small and could never ensure this much safety to so many people. They had a Market, even a restaurant with an aroma so good leaking into her nostrils she sometimes wanted to turn back since she hadn’t eaten in sometime.

When the Therianthrope spotted another civilian she dropped her light set of baggage and took out a picture. “Excuse me. Have you seen these two by any chance?” If not, she heard there was a vacant cottage nearby.

But when she heard the civilian confirm the two were residing nearby, she eagerly asked them to point out where the two were before she ran in the houses direction. The minute she spotted the cottages exterior designs by the windows, she knew it was Sanura’s doing.

Though she would have simply just busted down the doors, she stood at the doorway for a moment, smoothing out her wrinkled shirt before she knocked on the door. She wouldn’t be the one to cry first.

Who: Sanura and Adio
When: Night
Where: Adura Cottage
What: Brother-Sister time

Sanura had to admit that she was a person who liked to observe the other people at The Town Hall meetings. She wanted to see who was bored, who was paying attention and maybe see who didn’t attend. She talked to many of the citizens, so she thought that maybe she would know if anyone wasn’t there. But she was taken so off guard when she learned that Kaiya and Faye had been murdered. Wasn’t this place supposed to be safe? The moment she arrived in Elysium she felt a rush of calamity come over her because she felt like no harm would come to her. Now she felt like she should sleep with some sort of weapon or that she should be careful with whom she spoke to.

She wanted to see her brother )

Who: Sanura, Adio and OPEN
When: Afternoon
Where: The Sweets Shop
What: Random talking and a visitor comes in.

“Adio?” Sanura began, walking from one side of the shop to the other. “What are you going to be for Halloween?” She asked with heavy curiosity. She kicked the chair he was in telling him it was his cue to set some sweets on a shelf she could not reach. In the meantime she of course was going to share what she was going to be.

“I was thinking of perhaps being some sort of princess. What do you think? I saw a dress at the tailors that was simply amazing.” It was the only time of the year she could get drunk and be in a period piece and it would be considered a normal thing.

Adio turned towards her while he was setting the bag of sweets on the shelf. “Is there a costume for a drama queen? I’m thinking that fits better.” He gave her a cozy little smile before he seated himself once again. “As for me, I never gave it any thought. It’s just Halloween. It’s not something I think about night and day or lose sleep over.”

Sanura rolled her eyes and seated herself across from him. “Be a jackass.” Of course she meant that with all the love in her heart. “Just prevent yourself from being really boring.” When her brother reached for some chocolates, she slapped his hand and rose to her feet. Sanura was pretty sure she heard someone enter the shop. “Touch something and die.” She warned with an arched brow then went to scout who was inside.

[info]beneaththeskin

Who: Katy and OPEN
When: late morning
Where: wandering around the town
What: Katy's suffering from cabin fever.

Katy practically ran out of her house as made herself go out for a while. She was tired of being cooped up alone in her cottage. The full moon was coming up soon, and she was feeling agitated. The wolf within was excited to be free again soon. Ever since she had been turned it was like having that time of the month, twice in one month.

Homesickness had kept her within the confines of her new house. It was hard to think of that place as a home yet. She hadn't even unpacked most of her stuff, and she had hidden away in the cupboards the mementos and souvenirs that she had bought for her father and brother while traveling Europe. She didn't care about the ranch back in Colorado. She was worried about her father and her brother, whom she wanted to believe were ok. And like always, she constantly missed her mother.

She needed something to calm her nerves. She was used to rise in feral feelings that came with being a were now. Eight years as a lycan, and she still would get jittery when the time got close to the transformation. She wanted a distraction, but Katy hadn't met many people in Elysium yet, which was quite odd for her. In the past she has had many friends, although she kept to herself at certain times of the month like this.

Katy walked by the marketplace and went up to the fresh food stalls. She quickly grabbed a red apple, winked at the vender, and wandered off further. She wove around the archways, in and out as the ate the fruit loving the satisfying crunch. She wore her dark hair down and it swirled around her face. Her energy was high, and she was having fun despite the odd looks she was drawing toward her performance.

She'd probably get herself lost if she kept up her routine, so she stopped and left the food stalls to wander aimlessly around the market place. She pulled on the jacket she had brought with her and slipped her arms into the sleeves as she peeked into the windows of the shops, covering the side of her face with her hands as she looked inside.

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio, Riley and Umeko
Where: Tailors
When: Afternoon
What: Dress advice..and..it gets worse

“Come on it will be fun!” Riley promised, putting Adio’s arm in a death hook. She walked on one side of him while Umeko walked on the other. She just was along for the ride really. When she learned the two were going to the tailor, she aided in making sure Adio didn’t attempt in making a run for it. She could understand that going to a shop surrounded by clothing he wasn't interested in was a man’s worst nightmare. His face was miserable, his strides were dragging into the dirt and at times she had to punch his arm to get him to move faster. Now was the time for another punch in the arm from Riley.

“Ow! What the hell? I’m going as fast as my miserable body will allow itself to go.” Hell. He couldn’t possibly believe that a man’s opinion on clothes was so important that he was dragged out of bed. Literally. Riley and Umeko came into his house uninvited and grabbed him by his legs, then swiftly dragged him off his bed then dropped him on the floor. Without negotiating they gave him five minutes to dress then towed him towards the tailors.

“God, don’t be such a drama queen. You owe me for this. I walked you home the other night.” Umeko pointed out, feeling rather proud that she safely brought a man home. Riley snickered, about to light up a cigarette. “Are you friggin’ serious? This little dumpling brought you home, Adio?”

Adio turned towards the blonde who had been irritating him the entire time. “She bit me! I don’t owe her anything besides the cloth she gave me to control the bleeding.” He flicked away Riley’s cigarette. “And don’t smoke. I can’t stand it. In fact, I can’t stand the situation or the both of you right n-ow!” he turned towards Riley after she punched his arm again. “How old are we? Ten at the oldest?”

Riley put her free hand on her hip. “No. I am resorting to this to get you to shut your trap. You whine like a woman going through labor. Now come on! The shop is just ahead.”

When the two arrived, the door was opened ajar. Kazuki was around they were sure, but he gave them time alone. Riley and Umeko asked for them to lay some stuff around to try on and rather Adio liked it or not, he was going to stick around.

Now here is what you are going to do. )

[info]nospoon
Who: Zane and Adio
When: Early evening
Where: The wine bar
What: Drowning away his sorrows with some alcohol

James Pryce's death hit Zane harder than he initially let on. He was there at the Medical Pavilion when his friend's body was brought in, and he was present during the autopsy that was performed on him. He had died of a heart attack while he was out jogging, and he had already been dead for an hour or two by the time anyone found him. His closest friend in Elysium... dead. It was a shitty day to start his morning.

The overall tone at the Medical Pavilion had been a somber one. One of their colleagues had passed away, and it was obvious that it had effected everyone. There were no cheery smiles on any of the staff's faces, and no light-hearted jokes being tossed around to one another. Everyone was just dreary, and looking to get the day over with as soon as possible.

Theora had come by to offer initial blessings, and to help prepare for the funeral the following day. Zane would have to tell the twins about Pryce's passing, and Amada. But he wouldn't do it right away; he couldn't. He was too devastated to do anything other than drag himself to the wine bar to drink himself into a stupor. Zane didn't want to think; he didn't want to feel. James Pryce was more than just a colleague, he was a mentor and a friend. Zane had learned so much from him in the short amount of time they had known each other. It was far too short, in Zane's opinion.

He had ordered some scotch from the bartender, and downed it quickly. Zane ordered another, and it disappeared just as fast. The bartender didn't say anything when Zane ordered two more, gulping them both in consecutive order, and then tapping the glass again for a refill. His latest glass was the one he took his time with. Zane swirled the amber colored liquid around, eyes focusing on the way it moved within its crystal prison. He barely took notice of his surroundings, or of the person who had taken a seat next to him.

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio and Umeko
Where: Northern Forest
When: Night
What: Adio's trying to be stealthy and runs into someone else

Being both bored and curious never seemed like a bad thing until recently. Adio was usually not the nosey type. He would hear a few things that would spark his interest but about ninety nine percent of the time he just let it pass. Last time dead things washed up he figured some thing was so hungry he just made his house area a comfortable eating place.

He liked his freedom of walking around during the night, creepy forest or not. Maybe part of him wanted to walk trough the forest to prove there was nothing there. Well of course besides trees and of course animals. Yes, that was it. That would be his excuse if he got caught! All he was trying to do was prove there was nothing in the forest. Either that or he could say he lost his sister in there. Who can deny a search for a lost relative? Best of all, something like that would happen in his case.

Adio’s careful strides towards the forest were proving to be not so stealthy. He shut one eye tightly when he heard a twig snap under his sneakers. It figured such an event would happen when he was so very close to the forest. He stopped in his place for just a moment to listen if the loud snap was loud enough to alarm anyone.

While he waited for the coast to be clear, he raised a brow when he heard not so subtle movements on the grass. It was pretty much equivalent to stomping. It was bad enough to make Adio believe there was more than one person. Only turning halfway, he whispered lightly. “Please don’t tell me you’re following me. I would only be able to handle one-“ He turned around fully to see it was only this tiny little Asian girl.

“…person..”

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio (Sanura in the beginning) and Freya
When: Evening into late night
Where: Adura Home to Wine bar..annnddd back to Adura home
What: Adio and Sanura have a huge fight and part ways. Adio/Drinking does not mix. Time for a babysitter!

Adio had set his guitar in his lap as he looked over to Sanura who wore a very mournful look on her face. He trailed a finger down the strings that were wearing down, the clang of the strumming an obvious sign that the strings were way overdue for a change. His eyes found their way to the floor before he drew out a breath in sign of speech.

"...You seem upset.." He mentioned obviously. Often he would do that instead of asking the obvious question of 'Are you okay?'. He noticed she was sitting at the opposite side of the room, Indian style and was rummaging through a big box. Adio set his guitar aside and went to move to see if Sanura was okay.

Sanura looked back at Adio with a face that was near as vicious as a tiger. Teeth were tightened and her lip was raised as her nails grazed through the box.

Don't you know what today is? )

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio and Freya
When: Mid Afternoon (lol much better)
Where: Ceramics/Market
What: Adio checks out da ceramics

Sanura was the type to get drunk just by smelling something tainted with alcohol, her small frame not able to handle much. So, she was far in hangover land and throwing things at her brother demanding he get things at the Market. Adio should have gotten trashed so it was vise-versa. But he doubted he would have been throwing a fit because their was no junk food left. Plus, he wasn't too much of a drinker.

But he supposed drawing the short straw so to say was a good thing. Adio needed to somewhat explore the market a bit. He really only tended to one shop at a time. He would maybe go to the bakery, then head home. He figured since Sanura fell deep back into sleep by the time he left, today would be a good day to explore all sorts of shops. Then he would get her junk food to shut her up.

He took mental note that the sweets shop was near the ceramics shop. Ceramics struck a cord as interesting. It was terribly convenient as well since the ceramics shop was tucked behind the sweets shops.

As he entered the shop, he didn't see anyone immediately, but he heard distant noises. To make sure he wasn't intruding (even thought it was a shop, he was just over formal like that) he spoke up after only a few footsteps inside.

"He-Hello?"

[info]eyesofthetiger
Who: Adio & Sanura
Where: Main Road
When: Sunset
What: Brother & Sister Reunited..Adio and Sanura Remix

Adio ran at a steady pace, his head turning continuously behind him as if he expected someone to be behind him. When Adio looked behind, even his eyes scanned in all directions. Even off road to see if anyone was still out as evening approached. Perhaps it was a hint towards himself that his journeys down the main road was better traveled with company.

The sun was preparing to set, resting rather snuggly on the horizon. It was one of those days where the hues of orange, pink and blue meshed with each other in a rare way. Adio wished he had a camera or could paint and found himself looking up instead of his habit of looking behind.

His careless motion of his eyes caused him to run right into someone. It wasn't just a bump in. It was pretty rough. Whomever it was, they both fell on the floor right on their rear ends in a joint "Ooof!" sound.

"Oh god! I'm really sorry!" Adio hastily replied, searching for the victim of his carelessness hand through the rising dust of the sand.

[info]knowingcaden
Who: Caden and OPEN
Where: Helicharis
When: Midday
What: Band advertising!

Caden whistled to himself as he walked down the street of Helicharis with flyers underneath his arm. He had great plans for the band he was going to start with Adair. With Adair on guitar, and him singing lead vocals, the band needed someone on drums and possibly a bass guitar - but where could he find instruments like that? He'd search for materials later to build them. Flyers were first. Taking the first piece of paper, Caden placed it against one of the walls of the buildings and stuck it on with a bit of blu-tack that he scrounged from his belongings.

The poster read: 'Do you play an instrument? Ever wanted to be in a band but never had the opportunity? Are you ready to ROCK? If so, you're in luck: Adair Fallon and Caden McCall are starting a band and want YOU to join! Come by our forest cottage for auditions, clearly signed!' He was proud of his flyer and hoped that it would bring in at least a few prospective band members. His mood brightened and he started to sing to himself. "Get your motor running/Head out on the highway.." he hummed the next bit, because the most fun part was the chorus anyway. "Boooorn to be wiiiild!" Oh yes, he was rocking the town!

Caden moved to another building a ways down the road and stuck the second poster on the wall. They were easily removable and wouldn't leave any tack on the wall, but he hoped that people wanted to look at his sign before taking it down immediately. He continued with his singing of 'Born to be Wild' and even started to jut his head to the beat in his mind. Like with everything, he remembered the song clearly down to the last detail. His idea greatly excited him, probably more than normal, but he didn't care.
