Who: Circe and Giles
When: 7AM
Where: Circe's Cottage
What: Two people with two very different views on how to enjoy the rain.

The night had been strange, Circe had tossed and turned until she'd finally given up on sleep at 2AM. It was strange because she'd never had trouble sleeping through a thunderstorm before. In fact, she always had her best nights sleep when the skies were raging. But there were thoughts running through her head, feelings flooding her heart, and it was all so frustrating. So she'd managed to read two of her old books on Archaeological Sites of the World and at 6AM, despite the rain, she'd gone for a run. Running in the rain always felt good, and running away from what was left of civilisation was always a good idea. Besides, through the rain there was an odd smell coming from that direction. In fact it smelled bad from her front door so she'd escaped out the back.

Escaping was a good way to put it.

With her legs up against the open window, Circe relaxed in the warmth of her bath as she watched the rain continue to fall. It was all so beautiful, so perfect. It reminded her of her home. The number of times she'd pushed open her windows as a child and let the rain in, just so she could breathe in the freshness of it all. There was something beautiful about watching the rain fall in Wales. It had never been as nice after they'd left. It was still beautiful in Scotland, but it wasn't the same. Then, of course, rain was never a good thing at a dig. Finding her thoughts lingering on her family, she abruptly climbed out of the bath and grabbed her towel. The mirror, her greatest foe, drew her attention and she turned willingly.  "I hate you, and I'm never going to stop hating you." She growled at the scars in her reflection.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she bent down and unplugged the bath. As she waited for it to drain she look out the window one last time. It took a moment before she noticed him and she couldn't help but scream, almost losing her towel completely as she jumped away from the window. "Oh my God!" She tightened her towel and turned back to the window, "what the hell are you doing?"

Okay, so Giles was being a peeping tom. I mean his neighbor was fantastic. He could watch that ass stroll on by every morning as she took her jogs. In fact he made sure to sit on his porch as she jogged along. Breasts to ass she was probably his favorite. Maybe it was because she was oblivious to the fact he was eyeing her, or she just didn't give a crap. Best part was the clothes she wore.

Giles came to the theory that all woman's fitness wear were actually for men. You were meant to get excited at how woman's breasts, how shall he put it..Hmm took form in the wind and how their asses shook as they walked by. I mean, they were asking for a Giles 'seal of approval' or 'disapproval''

While the younger woman had been bathing he opened a package of peanuts and watched. He thought hell, this was like a soft core porno. Mind as well enjoy it before she sees you. He thought he was fast enough to get the hell out of there on time.

Wrong.

As she got him he was dumbfounded, dropping the peanuts to the ground. He tried to point at something to act as if there was a second culprit then just ended up being distracted by her naked form. A smile arouse.

"Finally I have seen the light. Thank you Jesus."

Not about to continue yelling out the window, Circe pulled the window shut and grabbed her robe as she headed for the back door. She wasn't sure whether she was angry or turned on, and for that matter whether she was picking up on his feelings or not. It was quite possible if he'd been... daydreaming. She couldn't help but laugh. Although it was all kinds of creepy, the idea that he'd been watching her put a spring in her step. There was really no way to explain it.

Securing her robe, she pulled open the door and took in his wet... don't go there Circe... appearance. "Would you like," She paused momentarily, tempted to go exactly where she'd told herself not to. "...a cup of tea?" She ended up asking, leaving the door open for him as she moved to the kitchen.

Holy crap! What are you doing? Her mind screamed, and she tried not to voice her thoughts.

If she was honest with herself she was taking any chance to NOT look at him. There was something attractive about him, and the fact that she was naked underneath her robe made her feel a little naughty. She hid her grin as she filled the kettle.

"Yesss" Giles thought. The whole sopping wet look worked. I mean, if he had an umbrella (which he had considered since he planned to camp out for the night. Women tended to bathe for a long time. His favorite part was when they washed their legs. Must be the fact that it always innocently looked like they were expecting someone to watch), he would have looked even more like an ass. But in his case, he looked like a creepy ass who was suffering from the unfairness of the unfortunate curse of the weather.

Of course, Giles tried to peak through her robe before he found his thoughts and answered an innocent: "Why yes. What British man would deny tea? It would be completely insane and against all that is British law." He waggled his brows at her when she was not looking. Maybe the rain storm had some magical power to it because Giles? Getting a response from a woman was just plain awesome. Maybe there was a rain god that said: "Giles, I thrust upon you the power to get laid."

He looked around her place, deciding to make conversation as he looked at her ass. "You know. The place is nicely decorated." Giles made sure his eyes found their ways to the room, searching around to actually see that the place was indeed nice. "You make it even nicer by walking around near naked often?"

As she slowly set up two mugs while the water boiled, Circe glanced at her reflection in the window. Behind her, she could see he was obviously looking at her arse. She wondered how many women bothered to play these games with him. Most would ignore this kind of behaviour, but then Circe had never been one to follow the crowd.

"Not as often as I probably should," She replied with a smirk, letting the comment sink in while she made the tea. There was nothing like a bit of fun to get the day started. Wherever it may lead. For a moment it made her question how far he was going to go. In the end, to her, it really didn't matter.

Setting the mugs on the counter, she glanced at him and smiled to herself. Elysium was definitely an interesting place. "Do you make a habit of watching women bathe?" She asked curiously as she continued moving around the kitchen. With the sugar already out, she grabbed the milk and lemon slices out of the fridge before joining him.

"Help yourself..." She muttered as she dropped a slice of lemon into her own mug.

Giles blinked harshly before he turned his head to the side with a smirk. His next door neighbor was a good challenge. Not only did she permit him to hit on her, but she even provided a hook for him to keep doing it. "Leave your door open to the door left of your living room. I always keep a steady eye." He clarified. "I can only see a shadow, makes me sad when I can only see your shadow disrobe." He gave Circe a pout as he made ways towards the tea, putting a few spoons amount of sugar in his cup.

"I watch women bathe in porno's. It gets boring though." Giles stated frankly. "I mean. They all make the same noises." He raised a teasing brow. He needed to see if she would blush. "You didn't though." His grin could reached the stars.

"Oh and you owe me your name."

Circe outright laughed. "I could always just remove the doors and curtains all together," She reasoned with a small shrug of her shoulders. "But then, the whole village could be watching and I'm not big on performing for crowds."

Sipping her tea, she raised an eyebrow. Did he expect her to be embarrassed by that comment? To blush? As much as she hated to disappoint, blushing was not a thing the women in her family tended to do. "Got to keep the audience on their toes," Circe assured him with a cheeky smirk.

"How rude of me, introductions should always come before tea and innuendo," She leaned forward on the counter, well aware how easy she was making it for him to see down her robe. Although the fact that he was a few inches taller than her meant he didn't really need help. "I'm Doctor Circe Warren," She held her hand out to him and smiled. It was always fun to throw her title into the mix, if only to see how people would react.

"And you are?"

“You’re a Doctor?” He huffed in fake insult. “You mean those people who go around treating people who are sick and spent countless hours treating them and then pretend to give a damn about them in the end? They spend their whole day trying not to beat themselves up if they save nine lives instead of a perfect ten?” He paused for a moment. “Yup. Me too. I’m a Cardiologist. Well, was the Head of Cardiology until the man upstairs decided to take an almighty crap on the world.”

He was happy with his perfect creation of tea and sat near Circe with a wide smile on his face. “What’s your profession?” He would have teased her about Gynecology, but that meant there was no hopes that he had the chance of being able to take off his pants for an exam.

"I'm Giles by the way."

Circe outright laughed, and consiered leading him on. After all there was so much inuendo to be used when it came to the medical profession. "Actually Giles," She sipped her tea. "I'm an Archaeologist. At least I was. Before the end of the world I was running a dig in Egypt. Now I just... am."

She frowned as she thought about it. It hadn't really occured to her before that she really had nothing to do any more. After all she doubted she'd very useful, unless there was a need for a History teacher. Although that was the last thing she wanted.

"Anyway it was a lot more fun then working in a stuffy Hospital," Circe grinned. "At least that's what I used to tell my brother - he was a Doctor."

Giles snorted a laugh. "That is a lot of doctor in a family. What a curse." He teased sitting back in his chair so he could put his feet up on the nearby table without even asking. "Archaeologist?" He made a small humming noise. "Well there is always the crusade of looking for things here. Bet there is a ton of buried crap here." Now why didn't he know of this company before? Most of his company was either shy or turned him away. Either that or he was going to get slapped in the face.

"How long have you been here?" He asked slowly. He was kind enough to have consideration in that area. It was a sensitive subject indeed. Not everyone wanted to discuss how they ended up on pretty much hell on earth. There were nice people, sure..But you were reminded every day that this was nothing like home.

"Runs in the family," Circe reasoned, though it was far from the reason she'd worked so hard to get the title. It made her wonder what her parents would think of her achievements, though she tried not to linger on the topic. The mere thought of her mother produced a dull ache somewhere deep in her heart, and letting her emotions get the better of her never helped her situation. But as she tried to calm, both thoughts and emotions, she could only feel the pain growing deeper as if something was clawing at her insides.

The trick was to just keep going, so Circe made sure to pay as much attention to Giles as she could. "Then I'll have to listen out for news of buried crap," She smirked, trying to ignore the building pain inside her chest. Instead she tried to focus on her guest. The way he spoke, the way he just casually put his feet up on the table... and of course his eyes.

"Two weeks," She responded quickly, almost the moment he'd finished asking the question. "Two weeks mostly spent organising my new 'home'. I'm not that good in social situations, so I've mostly avoided meeting people."

"What about you?" Circe smiled slightly, desperate to move the topic off her. "How long have you been here?"
