Who: Kazuki and Irei
When: Night
Where: Tailor Shop
What: Kazuki's about to close shop and actually gets a visitor!

Kazuki was getting rather tired of playing a one man game of catch. He had found a random tennis ball in the grass, luckily enough before the rain had hit. Kazuki now decided to hit it roughly against the wooden wall that he had been staring at several minutes prior. He ducked and winced a bit. Every time the ball hit the wall, the sound caused a faint sting. Finally, it annoyed him enough to stop. Just one more throw though.

Of course, Kazuki nearly didn't catch it. The vase behind him was twirling towards the end of the table and he outstretched his hand enough to catch it as he rose to his feet. That reminded him of the worst part-clean up. At least Kazuki wasn't too bad. He actually was pretty fickle about where things went and was rather tidy as well.

He traced the table area where he once sat before he headed towards the various areas where the clothes were. Kazuki began to stow them away carefully, making sure not to wrinkle or tear them. He then began to check the perimeter for any mud as a result of the rain. That would be of his doing since Kazuki did not recall one customer. To his benefit, the place besides putting the clothes in their proper place, was easy to clean up after.

Kazuki took a look around after the usual tasks of basically making sure the floor and area were clean and most importantly the clothes were safe and headed towards the door so he could get out and lock it safely. Luckily, he still had a lot of the night left to himself.

Irei had been out drinking Sunday night. He wasn't exactly drunk, but he certainly was pleasantly buzzed. For that very reason he wasn't ready to head home yet. Sascha always got on to him for drinking. That hippie was a total buzz kill.

He walked around the shops, checking to see if anyone was still open when he came up to the tailor's place. He hadn't really spent much time in the market place, except at food pavilion or the wine bar (which the idea of a wine bar still baffled him).

Irei opened the door and poked his head inside before Kazuki could make it to the door and lock it. Irei grinned, "Looks like I made it in just in time, or are you set on closing?"

He stepped inside and looked at some of the clothes that were in the front. It had been a long time since he had been able to go out and shop for clothes. Emily had said something about how he should wear tighter shirts yesterday. He touched the material and was rather impressed. This tailor looked young, even younger than himself, but he seemed to know what he was doing.

"So you make all of these yourself? Do you have the time to dress me?" Irei grinned, spread out his arms and turned around slowly so the young tailor could have a good look. Drinking always made him a little bolder.

Kazuki could have made a rude gesture before he closed the door near in the mans face. But instead he stepped back as the stranger near invited himself in and quickly followed after him, making sure he didn't do anything of the dumb nature. He seemed..a little off key. But it wasn't like kazuki had anything to do and if the stranger wanted to look around, why the heck not?

"I guess I can keep the place open for a bit longer." Kazuki leaned against the wall studying the man he hadn't met before. "Yeah, I make these myself. Usually I get people to come by, but today was rather crappy to be flat out blunt so not many people were out." Kazuki then began to fold his arms his head tilting as he bit a little into his lip ring. It was occurring to him more obviously that the man was drunk but if he were stable enough and could answer his questions he supposed he could help him out.

"If you're not just trying to give me a hard time..sure I can help you with some clothes! What are you looking for?" He seemed to have a good sense of style so Kazuki was sure he had something already good enough for the sort-of drunk stranger.

If Irei hadn't been on such a sweet buzz, he never would have imposed himself on a store owner so late. But it was late, he was buzzed, and the clothes looked nice. He also used this opportunity to get a good look at the young man running the store. A little shorter than himself, and very slender. Irei guessed the boy weighed at about 10 pounds less than he did.

"I appreciate it." He eyed the young man who followed him as he walked a little ways into the the shop. There had been many kids dressed like him back home in Japan. Bright colors, tons of jewelry, and the like. Irei had never felt he would look good in those clothes, let alone want to be wearing something that seemed to shout 'Look at me!'.

"Well it is Sunday. I wouldn't expect too much business on a Sunday from respectable people. Especially this late." Irei certainly included himself in that generalization. He had no doubt in his mind that nobody would really call him respectable anyways.

Irei had modeled a few times back in New York. Strictly amateur stuff that wasn't published in anything meaningful, but he certainly knew how to wear clothes. "I don't normally wear clothes like this.." He motioned toward Kazuki's loud ensemble. "I tend to wear dark colors. But you are the designer, right? Dress me!" Irei knew he was kind of being an ass, but he figured the kid didn't seem to have had any customers today anyways and both of them seemed to have nothing to do at the moment. So why not?

Before the man had ever-so-rudely announced his desire for Kazuki to dress him, Kazuki was doing his usual habit of chewing on the tip his thumb when he was thinking of what someone would look "nice" or "attractive" in depending on what they were looking for. Of course some wanted the 'sex appeal' involved and since he wasn't the one who liked to go that far to ask first, Kazuki waited until someone said "not 'hot' enough" and that did happen quite often. Not his fault he didn't go dashing around going for the skimpy stuff first. Okay, well he did sometimes but that tended to be for girls who wanted to look nice for their boyfriends. Not to say he was prejudice on the mens behalf.

Irei was a bit taller and his slight weight compared to Kazuki would prove to be a little problem since he could barely detect it. Irei was a rather attractive customer, though very different from the customers he had met so far in Elysium. It was most likely because his socializing was very limited since he only had the nightlife to himself.

When Irei seemed to near yell at him, Kazuki threw a firm tone back at him, but he never was good at seeming like he was scolding someone. " HEY! Shaddup! I'm thinking." He scratched the back of his head. "Uhm, Mr-"

Kazuki didn't wait for his name as he started to move around Irei rather closely. Kazuki had done his job for so long, measuring tape was pretty useless to him. He believed it was kind of a blocking factor in getting a good view on an idea or an item that would look good on someone.

The younger man pressed his hands firmly on Irei's back towards his neck and on his side before moving in front of him so his hands were still near his neck and on his side. He knew it was probably a little strange but there was nothing "beyond measurements" about it to him. "Sorry.." He said rather sheepishly. "I'm used to doing measurements this way. Otherwise I may choose the wrong size."

Kazuki made all kinds of clothes, so he thought he better comfort Irei that he wouldn't have to worry about wearing massive bracelets, a pink graphic tee and jeans girls would normally wear.

"I design all kinds of clothes. Anything you can think of from casual jeans to graphic tee's. If you even need a tux I can custom make them. This is just what I choose to wear." Kazuki gave somewhat a smirk, he couldn't really tease someone without feeling bad. "Though I think you could pull some of this off."

Kazuki took a few steps back, now sure he had a good idea of what Irei could wear. "You don't wear tight enough shirts." Kazuki said what was on his mind about people's looks blindly. "You're very attractive and have a good body so there is no sense in trying to hide it. It seems clear to me that you have confidence. I have no idea rather you show it or not. But better fitting clothes would help that's for sure. I make jeans you know-and no. Not crazy glitter jeans. Just you know-Jeans. You should wear button up tops. Like white or black. I see white working better. If that's fine I can work on "dressing" you. At least that to start with"

Kazuki sighed going over to where he knew those clothes would be. Once again, Kazuki just spoke without thinking.

"Take off your clothes in the dressing area. I can give the clothes to you."

Irei blinked several times. He hadn't realized he had raised his voice to the point of yelling. He made a mental note to lower his voice for the young man. This tailor must have pretty sensitive ears.

Irei knew he was being rude and decided to try and amend himself in the eyes of this kid who seemed very much like a normal good Japanese boy. "Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell. My name is Arakaki, Irei. Are you from Japan too?" Irei hoped that made him seem less boorish in this kid's eyes.

He watched as the young man took measurements from his body with his hands instead of a measuring tape and nodded. "It's alright. I used to model part time back in New York." Irei was very used to designers touching him in all sorts of personal spaces. That had used to bother him when he was younger, but for that job he had to quickly get used to the constant contact with people's hands.

Irei had never really thought about wearing the clothes that young Japanese people now seemed to like. Thinking about it now, he wondered what he would look like. "If you think so." Once again he heard from someone that his shirts weren't tight enough. Irei looked down at his shirt and pulled on it. They were right. It was a little loose. Was he losing weight?

"Hmmm, white? I guess I don't really have too much white clothing. Whatever you think is best." He sauntered over toward the dressing area and looked back. "I do like black though. Do you have any like see-through black shirts?" Something like that might keep little dryads out of his clothes. He still missed the shirt that he maintains she stole from him.

He walked into the dressing area and started to remove his clothes, shirt first and then he unbuttoned his pants, and he wasn't even the least bit shy about it.

Kazuki knew he probably did look like a kid, even though he was twenty two. But to many that was a kid. Especially since his features gave him off as such a youngling. But, Kazuki guessed it could be a good thing since he could blink his eyes prettily at customers to get them to stop by. If that didn't work he could always stride after them and compliment them on a certain feature to open up a conversation before guiding them towards his shop.

The younger man was relieved the man did not take offense to Kazuki measuring him out in his natural ways. He was very OCD with measuring tape. If he measured one inch wrong he would have a fit.

Kazuki handed Irei the jeans and the white shirt rather quickly. He hating tossing clothes, because if Irei didn't like them, Kazuki didn't want to wrinkle them. As he walked away to give Irei privacy to dress, Kazuki nodded his head going back towards the clothes.

"Oh yeah, of course I do! I used to make tons of those shirts back home. So it's a habit of mine to make them here. My guess is silk?" Kazuki smirked. "And nothing to go underneath it?"

He started to rummage through a far off cabin, filled with neatly folded black shirts of all sorts. Kazuki went back to having a conversation with Irei.

"My name is Watanabe, Kazuki. Just Call me Kazuki or even Kazu for short. I'm from Tokyo." He knew it was typical. "How about you?"

Kazuki first wanted to see how Irei looked with the clothes he picked, but he began to lay out various black see-through shirts.

To a slightly inebriated Irei, Kazuki very much resembled a kid. What Irei believed to be an adult Japanese man seemed rather depressing anyways. An a business man/office worker in a dark suit with a balding head. Irei had to shake his head to get the image out of his mind.

Irei slipped the jeans on and buttoned them, pretty amazed at how perfectly they fit. He looked at Kazuki with appreciation. "You're pretty good with the measuring by sight and hand bit." He then pulled the shirt on his arms but didn't bother to button it just yet.

"Perfect." Irei walked out of the dressing area. "Do you have any interestingly designed leather pants to go with the shirt?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you Kazu-kun. I was born in Okinawa." Though he felt perfectly comfortable walking around with his shirt open, he started to button the shirt the tailor had given him to try on.

"It's nice to meet you too, Irei. And you were lucky. I heard it is rather nice there. Not as crowded."

It wouldn't bother Kazuki if Irei walked around with his shirt open. In fact, sometimes he had female customers who walked around with barely anything. The vampire knew that was different but it didn't bother him if it just was his shirt. "That look perfect. You should wear more clothing like that for sure." There was a smile that crossed his face. "Of course I managed to get it right." he said with teasing confidence.

Kazuki already had leather pants out. This was because, most likely when people back in the Tokyo scene had see-through shirts, that's what they went with. Either that or black pants with tears in them or black jeans. Kazuki gave a triumphant smile as he propped himself on the table where the pants were and extended his hand. "Take your pick."

Irei was a little surprised that Kazuki called him by his first name without the fairly formal suffix -san afterward. Was Tokyo so westernized now that Japanese introductions had lost their formality. While he had become used to Americans calling him by his first name, it was a little unsettling for a younger man to do the same as if he had known Irei so well.

"Ah, I suppose you could say that, but all of Japan was over crowded except the country side. I remember Tokyo. There were a lot of lights and the place never stopped." Irei had been to Tokyo a few times when he was younger. His sensei had even taken him there once. The place was a 24 hour nonstop club scene.

Irei arched a brow, a little annoyed that the sight of him walking around with the shirt unbuttoned didn't seem to do much to Kazuki's composure. Alcohol had a way of magnifying his narcissism. Had this kid had such a life that seeing people like him was common place? He was good with clothes, but he didn't look like he had become a name brand yet.

Irei nodded at his comment and smiled. "Yes. It does look very good. The shirt is very fitted, I can see what you mean." The pants were also fitted close to his body and were very flattering. He fingered the buttons on the shirt idly as he looked leather pants. He picked some up pants that had pyramid belts decorating it along the legs and then touched the shirt Kazuki had brought. "These are perfect."

He eyed the younger man before deciding to try on the new clothes laid out before him and moved closer to stand right next to Kazuki, tilting his head to the side. "So, is this like everything else in Elysium? Do I just take it, or is there something you want in return Kazuki-san?"

Kazuki's skin couldn't admit a blush if Irei's open shirt did get to him. Not to say that it didn't. Which reminded him of his feeding. It was a shame he hadn't tended to it. It was like Kazuki was a child that needed a mother or father to remind him of his hunger. What was odd was that if Kazuki had Adrien, his so-called master from back home with him. The rather egotistical half Japanese man would have tried to convince him to try and feed on Irei since he was somewhat drunk. Kazuki never could since it was more ethical. Not to mention he couldn't feed on people to save his life. Well, he could. But not in the whole sultry, lurking in the darkness kind of way. Many times, his master gave him the scraps of his killings. It was by force as well. Now, in this haven he was able to use blood from the blood banks as well try and deal with animal blood.

Kazuki was pleased Irei was satisfied with his clothing and he slightly tilted his head in motion in time with the older man. What could the man offer in return? "Well.." Kazuki tried to think about it. It did take quite a bit of work. "How about..well. What do you have to offer?" He couldn't eat or anything. "Do you do anything special?"

Irei shrugged and turned slightly away from the young man who had brought him the nice close. "I suppose that would depend on what you'd want." He walked over to a low table and sat down, looking at Kazuki. "One could say I have many...talents. Though I suppose you wouldn't have any real need for a necromancer? I don't really have any other profession."

He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his thighs. "I did used to model back home, but I suppose that would be a moot point here, seeing as there aren't really any working cameras around." Irei sat back up and rubbed the back of his head. He was so used to monetary value on things, that now he felt at a lose when faced with the idea of bargaining with nothing but favors or exchanging of goods. "I don't really know. Is there anything that you need?"

He grinned a little bit. "Perhaps you could open a tab for me or something. Then when you think of something you need done or help with, you could just call in the favor."

Come to think of it, Kazuki couldn't think of anything that Irei could offer him at the moment. I mean, he didn't eat food food so it wasn't like he could ask for anything of that nature. And the man was a little tipsy at the moment to make a real deal. "As long as you remember, I guess we can make this a deal on your tab. Just make sure you somehow pay me back okay? A lot of work goes into it. Not like we truly have to pay for our places or anything. But I would appreciate it."

Kazuki tossed a smile at Irei. "You really do look great. Make sure you don't get drunk and rip the fabric or anything." He shook his head. Then I would have to rain check with you again. That time it would be on fixing something I made." Though it was nice being able to close, he was glad he met Irei.

"I..Hope I see you again..." Kazuki said shyly.

Irei watched the kid think and folded up the clothes and then went and grabbed the old clothes he had been wearing. "I'll remember." Irei smiled, he wasn't nearly drunk enough to forget an encounter like this. "Maybe I'll bring some more customers to you to thank you." He new a person who was in need of some knew clothes, considering this certain person's favorite pair of jeans were two sizes too big and had giant gaping holes in the knees.

"Ah, I know I look good." He had that self confident smile on his face and looked in the mirror. "Thank you again Kazuki-san. You really do make wonderful clothes, and I'll take good care of them. I promise."

Irei nodded. "I can already tell I may be paying you plenty of visits in the future." Irei winked at him, put his clothes under his arms, and left the shop so that the young man could finally close his store. "Good night!" And with that Irei finally make the long trek home.
