Sunday, August 26, 2007 Who: Riley and Farad Where: (Soon to be) Rilad water bungalow XD When: About 4:45 What: Riley can't stand her "falling apart" bungalow and likes Farad's nice shiny bungalow
The rain would have otherwise been a soothing retreat into sleep for Riley and her precious cat Harley. The feline formed into her stomach as they rested on her bed. However, there was a very evident problem.
CLINK. CLANK. CLINK. CLANK
Riley could feel an eye twitching in annoyance and if it weren't for Harley balled up innocently against her stomach she would have punched the wall for temporary anger management. How tempting, yet so unreasonable and dumb. Of course, out of all the water bungalow flats she had to get the one that was leaking so bad she had three large buckets set out, which had to be moved in rotation since there were more than three holes from who the hell knew where. There just had to be a crack right above her bed as well.
A few droplets of fresh rain dripped between her eyes creating a steady flow downwards to her cheek. Eventually the droplets dripped unto the bed. Riley's face was blank for a moment before she clenched a far from annoyed fist and lifted Harley up.
"Har, Har? You and I are going to go somewhere before we go bat shit crazy." She nuzzled noses with the feline before wrapping her pillow case around the tired and annoyed animal. "Yeah. I know. I'm pissed off and tired too."
As the rain began to heavy, the buckets now made more of a splatter noise along with awkward clangs when bits of rain missed the buckets. Riley was having more than enough with the strange symphony her falling apart flat was making.
Riley made sure to make haste as she grabbed for clothes, her pillows-anything she found important. She quickly stuffed it in a duffel bag she had. Riley knew it would be rude to think a neighbor would take her in, but all in the same her house was insanely leaking and in her wild mind, it would be half flooded and her poor Harley would be in peril. All she had to do was hold him up and Riley believed she would win the heart of her neighbor. If not. Man, were they a cold bastard or bitch.
When her bag was full, she slung it over her shoulders and held her cat close as she ran outside. Riley couldn't believe she was lucky enough to see her neighbor glancing outside for a moment before he was about to shut his door. He looked pretty damn harmless, so she didn't mind yelling at him at a rather aggressive manner.
