Danté ([info]darkdevotion) wrote in [info]nosuchplace,

Thursday: February 14, 2008
Who: Dante, Dione, and Adrienne
When: Very early morning (~3 am)
Where: A cave near the western edge of the haven
What: A very special
Warning: Will possibly contain violence against a woman. Mature themes. Torture?

The forest was always quietest in the middle of the night, but even then it was never truly silent. There were crickets in the distance, leaves that rustled overhead, and bushes that moved unnaturally because of the nocturnal creatures that stalked their prey. Dante felt most comfortable in the night, but unlike the other animals he already had his prey in his grasp. He sat alongside Adrienne, her ankles and feet bound tightly with thick rope. She was dirty, but that didn't tarnish her beauty, or perfection.

And then there was Dione, the one he didn't have to tie up in any way. She came with him willingly, and that meant she wouldn't try to run away. Dante gazed at her calmly, but when he turned to look at Adrienne there was a fire in his eyes that burned like Hell itself.

He ran his fingers through Adrienne's hair, gentle at first before he turned it rough by grabbing at the strands to pull her head back. "When are you going to realize that you've lost," he said close to her mouth. "And you belong to me?" He licked her bottom lip, and pulled away before she could say anything to him. "Dione realizes she belongs to me," he said. Somewhere in his fucked mentality he thought a comparison would sway Adrienne to his side. Dante sidled over to the blind woman, and cupped her cheek in a manner that resembled love.

"You know you're mine, don't you," he asked Dione before he pressed his lips to hers. The action wasn't loving, but domineering, and rough, and all the while he watched Adrienne from the corner of his eyes. "Dione," he said afterward. "Beautiful Dione. How shall we celebrate this Valentine's Day, hm?"

OOC: Posting order can be Dante, Dione, then Adrienne.

At that time in the morning, Dione was in a state of half dozing, breathing slow and quiet, eyes not quite shut but nearly there leaving only slivers of white and gray beneath her eyelashes. However, his voice drew her attention as it always did. Though he wasn't speaking to her, Dione listened to the words he said. A touch of jealous anger flickered across her thoughts at the sound of how he spoke to Adrienne. Why bother trying to convince someone who did not, could not understand? Why was she worth such effort on his part?

It was chilled as he moved to her and touched her face. The touch reminded her that the anger was unnecessary. Let Adrienne struggle against him and deny, Dione was loved because she chose to submit.

He asked a question and she didn't answer it. It didn't need one. Especially not when it was accompanied with a kiss.

Valentine's Day had never crossed her mind, probably because the days had long since ceased to mean anything to her. She was aware of it in a general way, month to month, season to season, but the singular day it was never really crossed her mind. It didn't matter to her in any real way. Yet now, he brought it up. Valentine's Day, the day of murder and roses.

"Blood or flowers, blood and flowers," she didn't celebrate Valentine's. She'd never had a boyfriend for that. Her Father and brother brought her candy. Her parents went out to dinner together. If there was a dance and she had to attend, Dexter was gallant enough to be her date, even if he danced with others while he was there. Since his death, her Father had picked up the duty, always saying he was the luckiest man in the world to have a beautiful woman on each arm. "After all, St. Valentine's was a massacre as well as love," a history lesson. Such a strange thing to say, but Dione's thinking had become enormously skewed over the last few weeks.

The thick ropes around Adrienne's wrists and ankles were cutting into her skin. She bled until the ropes had turned red, and though any other person might have stopped struggling against it Adrienne kept trying to free herself. The pain stung, and the rope continued to slice deeper into her flesh. She stilled when Dante came close to her, and shut her eyes when he ran his fingers through her hair. "Get away from me," she said sternly before he collected a fistful of hair to pull her head backward. Adrienne didn't cry out in pain, nor did she allow tears to form in her eyes.

She didn't justify his question with an answer, and she spat back at him when he licked her lower lip. He was disgusting, and Adrienne racked her brain to find a way to escape from her predicament. All she wanted to do was ignore him, but it was a hard feat considering the fact that he had brought someone else along with them. Adrienne couldn't help but be curious as to why Dione had come along willingly though it was obvious that Dante had somehow fooled the girl into thinking that he had feelings for her. How pathetic of the both of them.

Adrienne hadn't even realized that it was Valentine's Day until Dante mentioned it. She thought back fondly on her last Valentine's Day with Zach, and how the both of them had danced on a terrace beneath the stars. The memory caused the girl's chest to tighten, and if she hadn't controlled it she would have surely cried. Adrienne was fairly certain that she wasn't going to make it out of the situation alive, and her only regret was that she hadn't told Zach or her family how much she loved them.

She heard the words Dione muttered, and her brow furrowed in response. "You're both crazy," she said with a rueful chuckle. "I'm in this god forsaken cave with mister and missus psychotic. You two deserve each other." Adrienne rolled her eyes at Dione's reference to St. Valentine's, and the misinformation grated on Adrienne's nerves. "Crazy, and stupid, just my luck," she mumbled under her breath as she continued to work on the ropes around her wrists.

Dione's answer forced Dante's lips to curl into a wicked smirk. "Blood and flowers sounds perfect," he said. "A perfect answer from my perfect Dione," he said with false love in his voice. He was trying to evoke some sort of jealousy from Adrienne, and he watched her from the corner of his eyes even as he trailed a finger down Dione's cheek. He cupped her chin in his hand to plant a forceful kiss on her lips as his other hand began to move along her thigh. The kiss was short lived as he pulled away afterward, and turned his eyes toward Adrienne - his prize - and looked for any reaction from the girl he had wanted for more than a year.

He smiled at her though his eyes were as cold as ice, and he lunged in her direction. It angered him that the only reaction she had was one of disgust, and hate. He could read those emotions clearly from Adrienne, and when he was close enough he grabbed the collar of her shirt, and pulled her to her feet. "Listen here you stupid little bitch," he said venomously. Dante pushed her against the wall of the cave roughly, and did it two more times to force the wind from the chest. "You are mine. I deserve you. I'm the one who made you." He slammed her against the cold rock again, and then threw her onto the ground.

His chest was heaving angrily, and he glared down at her with an anger that could only be compared to hellfire. Dante growled low in his throat, and after a minute he pounced on Adrienne's body on the floor. He pinned her there, his hand wound tightly around her neck as his claw-like nails dug into her flesh. "Can't you see that I love you," he said to her. "Dione sees it! She accepts that she belongs to me - why can't you!" Dante squeezed tighter, and moved his head down to touch it against hers. "You will be mine willingly, or I will kill you. I'll kill you, and your fucking family, and your fucking boyfriend!"

Dante leaned in to kiss her roughly, and forced his tongue past the barrier of her lips and teeth.

When, and if, Dione ever truly thought about it, she might realize that her reactions and answers were a little strange. Granted, that would probably take years of therapy because there were so many underlying issues that had been allowed to settle and fester, becoming an all too fertile breeding ground for the psychosis Dante helped her to develop.

Dante called her perfect. If there was a higher accolade, she wasn't quite sure what it was. She was perfect. Her fingers itched to touch him back, but she didn't move. Couldn't move, not yet. There was still 'her'. Though she didn't see her, Dione was not blind/deaf to Adrienne's presence. Dione wouldn't touch him in front of Adrienne, wouldn't share that moment with the other girl.

Being called crazy did little for Dione's state of mind. It was a word that always drew a poor reaction. Dione had been called crazy. Medicated for the crazy. Kept in a hospital for months because she was supposedly crazy. No, it was because other people were blind. They were all blind. Even he was blind. Blinded by the other woman. He left Dione to hurt her. Broke their moment to hurt her. The medium folded in on herself a bit, drawing her legs to her chest and lying her head on top of them. Her ears couldn't keep from hearing what he said, but that didn't mean she attached the same significance to those words others did. Just as she had managed to somehow totally miss the warning Sascha had given her, Dione listened to what he said to Adrienne and it changed in her head despite what her ears heard.

"Should kill her." Dione muttered, slipping into French in her half away state. "Can't be perfect anymore."

Dante yanked her roughly to her feet by the collar of her shirt. The material tightened around her neck, and though it cut off some of her oxygen it hadn't gotten to the point where it was hard to breathe. Adrienne glared at Dante even as he pushed her roughly against the cave's cold, hard wall. The air was forced from her lungs each time, and Adrienne could feel sharp edges of rock drawing blood as they made contact with her back. The back of Adrienne's head hit against the hard surface as well, and the girl shut her eyes with each impact.

Her only opportunity to catch her breath came when he flung her to the ground. Adrienne fell roughly onto her right shoulder, but her respite was short lived when the man descended on her to pin her down. His claws dug into her throat, but Adrienne steeled herself emotionally against his attack. Every part of her wanted to cry out in pain, and she wanted to scream for help, but she wouldn't give Dante that sort of satisfaction. He wanted to break her, but the girl was determined to never let that happen.

It was hard to talk especially when Dante squeezed her neck a little more. "I'd rather die than give in to you," she said in a whisper when his lips were barely an inch away from hers. She didn't expect him to kiss her, and when he did she squirmed beneath him. Adrienne struggled to keep her mouth closed, but a thought entered her mind when he pushed his way into her mouth. She allowed his tongue inside, but when she had the opportunity Adrienne bit down hard on the muscle.

It was afterward that Adrienne heard Dione muttering some words. She had taken French in high school, and it was enough for her to recognize a few of the things Dione spoke. It was enough of an understanding to figure out what the girl said. Adrienne looked at the medium in disgust. The girl really was just as crazy as Dante, and if Adrienne were free she'd either knock some sense into the girl, or just knock her out just for the hell of it.

"You want to kill me," she asked into the darkened cave. "I'd like to see you try you blind bitch," she said angrily. The entire situation was bringing out Adrienne's temper, and she was ready to fight tooth-and-nail if she had to.

Though Dante thought he felt love for Adrienne his actions toward her would have made anyone think otherwise. Violence laced every move, but it was the only way the man knew to show what he considered was affection. It was possession more than anything; Dante had a bad habit of always wanting to own the things he became obsessed with, and Adrienne had been the one thing he had wanted for over a year. In the end Dante always got what he wanted even if it was by force. His kiss upon Adrienne was more about power, and control rather than anything sexual. It was for this reason alone that he felt triumph when she allowed him entrance into her mouth, but the feel of teeth upon his tongue told him that she had tricked him.

He howled out loud, and pulled back far enough to deliver a hard slap across Adrienne's cheek. "Don't you ever do that again," he said angrily. He squeezed the girl's neck even more before he pushed her away completely. It was Adrienne's words, however, that truly caught Dante's attention. He narrowed his eyes to slits, and turned to look at Dione through the darkness. He had heard her muttering words, but unlike Adrienne he didn't understand it.

"Lies," he said in a harsh whisper, but Adrienne's reaction to whatever Dione had said was enough to convince him that it was true. He would always take her word over Dione's anyway. "Did you say that," he asked the blind medium though he left no room for answer before he moved to crouch by her side, his hand around her neck this time.

"What I do or don't do with Adrienne is none of your concern," he said harshly. "And it is not your place to decide. Her fate is mine to decide - alone. You just need to sit there, and look pretty." He pushed her away at the end of his words, and jumped to his feet. Dante began to pace wildly around the cave, and for good measure he would occasionally walk over to Adrienne to kick her in the stomach. "Stupid whore," he said one time. "Fuckin' cunt," he said another. In the end he knelt down next to Adrienne, and cupped her chin in one of his hands. "I'll stop all of this when you accept me as your alpha male," he said to her. "Just give in. Give in the way Dione has, and I'll untie you. I promise."

He might as well take Adrienne's word for it. It wasn't what Dione had said, but it was essentially what it meant. She thought Adrienne should die. There was nothing else the woman was good for. She was tainted and worse, refused to acknowledge or admit it.

Dione retracted into herself on command. Like a dog told to sit, stay, and be quiet, she did exactly as she was told. She sat back and keep her mouth totally shut.

Not because she didn't want his attention but because the only way she understood to get his attention was through obedience, despite the fact that Adrienne had so far proven otherwise. Then again, he hadn't called Adrienne perfect. He seemed more angry at her than anything else, so her way couldn't be the right way to go about things.

If Adrienne knew the thoughts filtering through Dione's mind at the moment she would have made the girl pay for them. It was a fact of life that people died; even the strongest praeternaturals had a set life span. But that was a far different concept that saying someone should die; that their life was not worth living anymore. Adrienne would not have been very happy with Dione's thoughts at all.

A part of her smirked with the way Dante responded to Dione, and how Dione obeyed like a puppy. It was sad, and the werewolf chuckled under her breath. "You're pathetic," Adrienne said under her breath. "What sort of woman are you that you'd let him treat you like that? Don't you have any self-respect?" Adrienne laughed a little more, a laugh that was cut short with the swift kicks Dante delivered to her middle. It hurt like crazy, but Adrienne refused to give into the madman.

"Alpha male," she asked indignantly once she had caught her breath. "That'll never happen you asshole," she said defiantly as she looked up at him. "I love Zach, and he's coming for me," she said though a part of her doubted that she would ever see her boyfriend again. She didn't even know if Zach wanted to see her. He hadn't talked to her in over a week, and maybe he had decided to just break up with her altogether. Adrienne felt tears pushing their way to the surface, and she bit down on her tongue to stop them from collecting in her eyes.

"I hate you, Dante," she said angrily. "I hate you more than anything." Adrienne spit at the man's face, and continued to struggle underneath his body. She closed her eyes, and turned her head away. She couldn't stand to look at him for another second.

"She's the obedient kind," he said in response to Adrienne's question. He looked over at Dione, and smirked at the fact that he could tell her to do anything and she would do it. But there was something completely, and utterly invigorating about a woman with enough spirit to fight back. He loved - if he was capable of anything of like love at all - feisty women. What he loved most, though, was breaking that spirit, and he would break Adrienne's in due time.

Her words flared his anger, and he grabbed her neck once more. "You love someone who's weak, a boy compared to me," he said close to her ear. "You'll never see him again," he added. "And he'll have to live with the fact that he lost you. I'm the winner here." He pulled up, causing her head to lift off the ground before he slammed it against the ground. "You belong to me. I've worked far too hard for far too long to lose you." Dante breathed in her scent, and it was intoxicating. It drove him further into the depths of his mind, the dark depths that bore his deepest secrets.

He loosened his grip on her throat, and pulled away from her. He straddled her waist, and when he gazed at Adrienne there was nothing but insanity in his eyes. He didn't answer her claims of hate with words; instead, he punched her in the gut, and then her face. She was beautiful, but the blood from the cut on her cheek put him on edge, and it begged him to draw more from her body. He pulled a knife from his side, and twirled it above Adrienne. The blade would taste blood tonight even if it was one cut at a time.

Dione was completely and thoroughly the obedient kind. It was the only way she understood to survive in the world. From the beginning, she was told what to do and her stubbornness was reserved for things she knew she could get away with being stubborn about. She wasn't about to attempt being stubborn with Dante, it could be considered some buried survival instinct as well as wanting to please him. If she did what she was told, she'd survive and he'd be happy.

Win-win.

If he hadn't told her to be quiet, she might have pointed out that it was just as pathetic to hold onto hope when there wasn't any and to continue to bait someone who was hurting you. But she kept her thoughts to herself, that was what he had told her to do.

Oddly enough, Dione was comfortable enough in her silence to start to fall asleep. Let them fight, she couldn't do anything about them, so she tuned them out and let it go on, her eyelids drooping to near closed.

Maybe being obedient meant survival, but it certainly wasn't Adrienne's idea of living. Her defiance might have brought her pain, but there was no way in hell that she was going to give in to the psychopath who was hovering above her. There was a fire in her eyes as she looked up at Dante. She saw the knife in his hand, its blade glinting even in the dim candlelight of the cave. Adrienne knew what he was going to do with it, but she refused to show him any fear.

"Cut me as much as you want," she said. "It'll never make me yours." Adrienne was a strong girl, but even she wasn't sure just how much pain she'd be able to endure. There was fear there in her chest causing her heart to quiver ever so slightly. "You're pathetic. This is the only way for you to get a girl, huh? Stalk them, and hurt them until they have no other choice?" She started to laugh at him; she laughed in the face of her most imminent danger. It hurt to laugh, but she did her best to smile through the pain. She looked at the knife again, and she knew beyond a doubt that she was about to hurt a lot more.

Adrienne had been haunting him from the moment he saw her in Greece almost 2 years ago now. She was beautiful then, and even more so now that he had her beneath him. Dante saw the fire in her eyes. Saw the determination there in her set jaw. She was perfect for him, and it was that reason that he spent so much time pursuing her. He could have killed her, but it would have made his efforts for nothing. He wanted to hurt her, see her blood flowing from her body until she lost all hope. He wanted to break her will, and have her willingly submit to him. Adrienne wasn't the type to do such things so easily, and it was that reason alone that made her so desirable to him. Dante liked a challenge, and she was keeping him entertained for far longer than anyone in the past.

"I don't need your permission to do things to you," he said. There was an ice cold smile on his mouth, and a dark insanity in his eyes. He grabbed Adrienne's bound hands, and forced them above her head. Her chest was heaving, and he pressed his knife down on the material starting at the collar. The point was sharp, and he kept pushing until it broke her skin through the shirt. Dante pulled the knife down slowly cutting flesh, and cloth at the same time. Blood seeped through the material in a single line down the girl's body.

"Don't cry," he said without looking to see if Adrienne was crying or not. "The gift I gave you will heal you in no time." He only looked at her face when he was done, and smiled eerily. "Your blood smells sweet," he said. Dante pushed the cut material apart, and leaned in to lick the blood from the wound he had created. He looked over at Dione with a smirk suddenly, and leaped to her side. The taste of blood sent his feral instincts into overtime, and he was acting like a crazed animal. He sliced her arm open without warning, and licked up the blood that seeped from her fresh wound.

Dante moved back to Adrienne, the focus of his obsession even in his current state. He took his knife, and carved designs into her skin. They bled red, and formed trails along her skin. He didn't lick them this time, but he didn't stop either. He continued to cut Adrienne's body, and reveled in the pain he was forcing upon her.

Dione's eyes had dropped to being almost completely closed, sleep seeming to find in her spite of the things going on close by. She was detached from the idea of Adrienne in pain. Perhaps she should have been, but emotionally, she was too far gone for it to matter. Her personality had submerged to the point of only peeking out in bits and pieces when someone directly interacted with her. Otherwise, she stayed quiet and out of the way.

Since she wasn't paying attention, she didn't look up immediately at the motion. The knife going into her skin, however, got her attention. She sucked her breath in with a hiss. He licked the first of the blood off, but then he was gone again. Leaving her with a wound slowly weeping blood.

Putting her hand over it to staunch the bleeding, Dione pushed herself to standing. Staying there to bleed didn't occur to her. She'd been injured a time or two before, leaving bleeding wounds open was not a smart thing. Especially since she couldn't possibly tell how badly she was bleeding.

Adrienne couldn't fight against Dante's strength try as she might. Her hands were forced above her head, and she knew that it was only a matter of time before his knife found her skin. She watched him with intense eyes, and the glint of the blade caught her attention. He moved it to the collar of her shirt, and pressed down hard enough to break through the material. The pain was blinding, and she couldn't help but cry out as he continued downward. Her voice echoed in the cave, and tears fell from the corners of her eyes because of the pain. Her breath quickened in her chest, and she closed her eyes to shut out the feel of the blade slicing open her skin.

"Don't focus on it. Don't focus on it," she chanted to herself futilely. Dante's voice continuously brought her back to the reality of the moment, and she opened her eyes when she felt her shirt being pushed open.

"You sick bastard," she spat venomously to her captor when he went to cut Dione. Adrienne tried to move away, but Dante was upon her before she could get anywhere. He held her arms above her head once more, and continued to cut into her body. Adrienne couldn't help the painful cries that passed through her lips, but there was nothing she could do to stop Dante from hurting her. She closed her eyes again, and took her mind away from the moment. She couldn't focus on the pain or else she wouldn't make it through the night.

Her painful cries were exciting, and the beast inside of Dante wanted more and more. He cut her continuously - some of them deep, some of them not - anything to make her bleed. Her pain was not enough to make him stop, and he was determined to not stop until she gave into him. He didn't know how much she could take, but he was determined to push those limits even if she had to bleed to death.

Dante was distracted for a moment when Dione stood to her feet. He glared at her over his shoulder, and rushed to her side. He grabbed her arm, and jerked her toward him. "Where do you think you're going," he asked harshly. His hands were slick with blood, both Adrienne's and Dione's, and he looked at her arm. She was bleeding, but unlike Adrienne she wouldn't be able to heal from it as quickly. He grabbed the hem of his shirt, and ripped a long piece from it, and wrapped it around the cut on her arm. It took a few minutes, but it was all he was willing to spend on her.

"Keep pressure on it," he told her before he returned to Adrienne. He wanted to keep cutting her, but he had lost his motivation. Dante glared at her, delighting in the blood on her body. She would bleed a little more before she healed completely, but she wouldn't die. He wouldn't let her die just yet.
