Who: Victor and Adela (Oh no, I didn't forget :P )
When: Late Evening
Where: The Wine Bar
What: A date

Victoria was one of those people who liked to discourage his brother's confidence. Not in the subtle of ways either. Insults on clothing, asking what Adela looked like and of course asking if she was mad. In the end, both promised not to be anywhere near each other when he returned home. His sister must have had a thing for altercations. He hadn't even planned to speak to her. In fact, he tried to sneak out quietly before she blitz attacked him with insults. She was going to die a very lonely and miserable woman. Victor was going to enjoy it too.

After Victor had picked up Adela from her residence, he complimented her on how she looked, but was silent on the entire trip. Maybe he was nervous, or maybe he was afraid he would say something completely ridiculous before they arrived at the Wine Bar. At one point, he was going to offer her a cigarette while he himself smoked (he felt bad for not even asking if it was okay), but then decided that she didn't seem the smoking type.

Finally, when they arrived at the Wine Bar, the lycanthrope opened the door for Adela and stuffed his hands in his pockets. His first words in quite a while finally came out. "Any area look favorable to you?" The place was indeed busy, probably credited to the recent events. But there were still some good seating areas available.

The fact that Adela was going on a date only made her slightly nervous. Not that it was because it was with Victor, but because it was a date in general. Though she'd always wondered what a date with Victor must be like, over the course of their friendship or whatever they were calling it. She certainly thought of him as a friend. A very very handsome friend. And though she'd never met Victoria, she didn't really want to, and had no plans on doing so. At least not until she was good and drunk and not minding her language, or didn't really care so much.

When he picked her up, she smiled and blushed and told him that he looked nice too. Thankfully she didn't trip over anything or hurt herself as she got into the car. She didn't mind silences thankfully, and if she thought badly of him smoking without asking, she didn't say anything. And she never asked him to put it out. Heading inside though, she looked around and pointed to a place in the corner that seemed out of the way enough.

She sat down, and smiled at him. "So penny for your thoughts? You seem.. distracted or something."

Victor was relieved that Adela had said something once they had sat down. "No, not at all. It's just." He ran a hand through his hair and looked towards the piano that was actually vacant. Too many people were talking, so the sound would have probably silenced by the many voices. "It's really good to see you. I guess sometimes that makes me silent."

Somewhat smiling smugly he toyed with an empty glass at the table. "If we should drink to anything, it should be to the fact that you didn't fall on the entire trip here. You're wearing a very beautiful dress. It would be a shame to see that dress dirtied on the account of your clumsiness." The lycanthrope couldn't help it, he really couldn't.

After he had his fill of poking at her, he looked up at a barmaid who had approached them. "Anything in particular you would like to drink?" Just thinking about something to drink made him feel like he would loosen up though he really usually never felt so nervous.

Not quite sure how to take that statement, she just gave him a peculiar look. "Being glad to see me makes you quiet? You'll have to enlighten me on how that works exactly. Unless you're telling me that I just make you speechless, in which case I'll have to tease you a bit and probably blush a whole lot." though that didn't seem like much of a change out of the normal between them.

She gave a mock indignant look, and huffed slightly. "Hey! I was trying to pay attention to where I was going. I don't trip all the time." She paused. "Okay so maybe I do but I didn't this time. And I am wearing a very lovely dress. And you're right, it would be a shame, so stop jinxing me!" Picking up her napkin, she swatted at him playfully.

Gazing up at the barmaid, she smiled at her. "I'll just have a glass of red wine if you please.. your pick."

Victor made an attempt to mock Adela's look, but somewhat failed. "It's weird." He glanced down shyly before he continued. "I guess I don't want to say anything too stupid." The lycanthrope guessed that kind of was admitting some form of speechlessness since he cared about what he said to her. "Don't get an ego though." He teased.

He tried to catch the napkin, but failed only resulting in him wrinkling his nose a bit. "Jinxing you always works. I can't wait until our walk home. Though I'm sure we'll both probably make an ass of ourselves." Truth be told, maybe he was weird but he didn't see anything wrong with that.

"Light weight." Victor teased in regards to Adela's choice before he looked up at the barmaid. "Scotch please."

After she left, he drummed his fingers on the table and returned his full attention to Adela. "Tell me. What have you been doing so far? Visit any places other than the Market area?"

It was kind of cute that he seemed to be all shy around her, though she didn't know why exactly that was. It wasn't like she was scary or anything. She ah'd at him a bit, and thought about teasing him, but refrained since he seemed to just be telling her the truth. "I'd never get an ego. No one ever wants to come across as stupid. But you're fine and you've never said anything dumb." Well except maybe tease her a bit too much, but that was different.

"If you jinx me, you're going to be sorry," she told him, giving him a very serious look indeed. That might be pushing it a bit far, she didn't really want to be jinxed, but she didn't think he'd really do it. She was clumsy enough as it was. "You can mock me plenty when I fall down and hurt myself like you always do," she added, sticking out her tongue at him.

Adela just made a face at him when he called her a light weight and shook her head, "You wouldn't understand the finer things about wine." She said with a hmph.

As far as his question went, she just shrugged her shoulders. "Not much really. I've been keeping to myself, though I don't have a good excuse for that really. I've been to eat one or two places, but that's it really. You?"

"Getting a threat from you always amuses me." Victor admitted. "It's not like I don't think that you couldn't do anything of the dangerous nature. It's just actually seeing you do it that would make me highly amused. I mean, no one would think a sweet red head would ever do something bad, now would she?" He then gave her a serious glance, an eyebrow perking upwards. "Though there have been some hilarious instances when you have fallen such as on the ice, believe it or not I would genuinely worry about you if you got hurt."

That indeed was a code for saying he cared about her. "And you're right. I think I'm more of a hard drinker. Wine used to please me, but I think..thanks to changes, it's hard for me to appreciate the more delicate of alcohol."

He shook his head when it came to him. "Just working and avoiding my sister. Work isn't so bad here. I expected a lot less from this place. You know, Robin Hood style stuff you know. Didn't this place kind of amaze you when you got here?"

Her bottom lip jutted out just a bit, and that didn't do anything to help the situation. Now she just looked like a sad little lost puppy or something, pouting at him. Not that dogs pouted of course. "No, no one would ever think that, which is why I always get away with everything because no one suspects me. But you're so wrong, I could totally kick your butt." She hmph'd slightly but stopped pouting and started to grin a bit. "I like that no one suspects me of everything. It's nice."

She tilted her head to the side a bit, "I always fall down, you just laugh. Really? You'd worry if I got hurt? Well that's very sweet of you. I'm sure you must worry all the time about my safety." Considering how bad of a klutz she really was. "Thank you for worrying about me though. Even if you've clearly got bad taste in alcohol," she teased.

"Oh yeah, it totally amazed me. I thought we were going to have to hunt for our food and make tents and all sorts of things, not all of this." Though it was a nice place to live, she had to admit that. "Elves really know how to live, don't they?" she mused, sipping her wine. "It makes me miss home though. I do miss it there." Which meant mostly that she missed her father.
