Who: Dante and (Open to many)
When: All day
Where: Dungeons
What: The crazed lycanthrope is finally behind bars

How had this happened? How had he ended up trapped behind silver-lined bars a prisoner instead of out in the wild a free man? How had he let that damn alchemist slip through his fingers alive, and well? The questions that plagued Dante's mind forced him into an almost fugue-like state of eerie silence. He no longer made any attempt to appear, or act normal. What was the point of it when everyone knew what he truly was? What they saw behind those bars was a stone cold killer. Someone who held human life in such small regard that he could squash it like a child squashed small bugs.

The look in his eyes revealed the emptiness of his soul - a dark abyss that could drown anyone who dared to look deep into them. His jaw was clenched tight, and his hands were balled into fists with his nails digging into his palms. Blood dripped onto the floor of his cell, and seeped in between the cracks in the stone. He sat on a chair in the corner of his cell partially hidden in darkness, and shadows. Dante's eyes glistened evilly even in his dim surroundings, and though he was behind fortified bars danger emanated throughout the dungeon as if he could reach beyond them to tear out your heart.

And so he sat in silence in the partial darkness. The guards and the rats were his only company, but at least he could catch the rats and snap their necks. It was the only release he had for his rage. There were at least a dozen on them on the floor - dead rats. Some were torn in half, others were lucky enough to just have broken necks. Some were missing their heads and limbs as if Dante plucked them off one by one. Like petals off a flower, Dante's victims were just as fragile, and just as expendable.

Scarlet and Dante-Afternoon

You know, this figures Scarlet thought to herself as she made her way into the depths of the dungeon. Sascha would have been perfect for questioning this madman. But of course the lycanthrope decided to sucker punch him in the face. Since the telepath was out, Scarlet decided to go for it since she didn't scare easily and well..she guessed she decided to just go for it.

The Dhamphir was escorted by Elven Guards once very close to where Dante was being confined. She couldn't persuade them to let her speak to Dante alone despite the unlikely chance of him escaping. Surprisingly, Scarlet didn't argue and continued silently until she was face to face with Dante. Well, he was certainly just as intimidating as she thought he would be.

Noticing what he was doing to the poor rats that had made the dungeon their homes, Scarlet crossed her arms to dismiss the disgust and spoke loud enough to make her voice known. "I see you have found a way to occupy yourself."

The sound of footsteps against the cold stone floor caught Dante's attention. At first he thought that maybe Adrienne had returned to see him, but then his nose caught the scent of an unfamiliar female. His attention turned toward the front of his cell as he waited for the stranger's appearance. She came into view a moment later, a gorgeous female specimen with dark hair. It was the hair that pleased him the most.

He wore a smirk amidst the shadows. There was blood splattered on his clothes, and shoes. And the specks on his hands were still being lapped up with slow precision. Dante looked up at his visitor after she had broken the silence with her words. He chuckled in response, the sound echoing through the dungeon. "It's entertaining." His answer was nonchalant, and laced with amusement. "Unless you're volunteering to come in here to take their place," he said indicating to the dead rats. "We'd have tons of fun. I promise." He grinned toothily at her - sharp canines accentuated by the light that happened to reflect off them.

"Of course." Scarlet said in response to Dante's explanation of why he was killing those poor rats. "You're not the subtle type when it comes to entertaining yourself. You kidnap an innocent young man and injure many in the process. I hate to tell you this, but your form of entertainment has landed you in a lot of trouble. I don't know what the full story is, but unless you tell me, then I am most certain that I better request a bed for you in here." The thought of him being let free was ludicrous, but she wanted to know the full details of what his little tantrum was all about.

Scarlet raised a lip in disgust, her own teeth accidentally showing. "I'm sorry. But I am going to have to pass on that offer. Though it disgusts me to have to see you do such a thing, I'd rather you focus on the rats."

How could someone like him live with himself? She just shook her head and at least hoped that he would answer her questions in some shape or form.

The only thing Dante could do in response to Scarlet was laugh. And he laughed, and laughed, and laughed. His voice echoed throughout the entirety of the dungeon, and he didn't stop for several minutes. The acoustics were amazing, and Dante thought he could feel the vibrations of his laughter tingling at his skin. He wondered if Scarlet could feel them, too.

"You're the patronizing type," he said finally. "I like that. It'll give me something to fantasize later on." He looked her over from head to toe, and nodded. "With a body like that you'd look killer in leather." Dante closed his eyes, and let his head fall back. He was smirking, and he made it very clear that he was imagining doing very dirty things to Scarlet. Another chuckle left his mouth, and he finally opened his eyes to look at the vice council member.

He took another step toward the front of the cell. "Innocent? You think that boy is innocent? Do you think it's very innocent of him to take something that's mine? I don't know about you, but I call that stealing." His arms crossed over his broad chest, and then began rocking back and forth on his feet. "If you want innocent then look at the two fae that I strung up, or the busty bartender from the wine bar." Dante was on a roll, and his narcissistic attitude forced him to keep talking. "Hell, even the blonde that I took out into the woods was innocent, and that therianthrope - yeah she was innocent, too. But Zach— no, no, no, Zach is FAR from innocent."

Maybe Dante didn't have anything to do with the therianthrope, but adding fuel to the fire only made him look scarier. He wanted to see if he could make the woman squirm just with his words alone.

The only way the dhamphir could contain an obvious sign of displeasure was staring at the grotesque floor beneath her. Though she didn't know how, she managed to keep her facial expression calm and her breaths steady. Not only was she displeased with his behavior, but she couldn't deny the goosebumps already appearing on her skin. This man was disturbed and she was very thankful for the elven guards who made it their duty to ensure Dante "behaved".

She left room for a joke when he decided to add in how her body would look in leather. "Funny you mention that actually. I make a killer cat woman. Sadly, the only time I'll be seen in leather is on Halloween, in which you'll never be able to attend or in your dreams which you seem to be terribly fond of." At least she was being someone who made sure to give Dante a vibe that she wasn't at least afraid to shoot back at his commentary.

When Dante drew closer to her within the confines of the cell, Scarlet almost wanted to back away but she remained motionless and stern though her heart started to beat a little faster. Suddenly though a slight feeling of anger overcame her when the crazed Lycanthrope began to speak of his crimes. The faes, the bartender. "Wait..did you say." Was she perhaps wrongly accusing Hayate of the therianthrope attack? "The female? You're taking responsibility for the therianthrope who was near murdered?"

Scarlet then let Dante hear her laugh towards him. "Dante. People aren't property. Chairs, beds, houses. Those are. But you can't go on committing crimes over a person that doesn't belong to you. In fact she doesn't belong to anyone." Scarlet didn't regret saying that though her stomach felt a little twisted.

He saw the goosebumps forming along the small portions of exposed skin of his visitor. It brought forth a smirk, and an evil gleam in his eyes. Dante always did like his women spunky; it made it all the more fun when he broke them into submission. That is if they survived that long.

He laughed at her joke, and took a step forward. "Oh honey, what makes you think I haven't already seen you in your birthday suit? You live by the water bungalows, all alone. You used to work at the library before you got elected to the vice council. How am I doing so far?"

Dante began to pace inside of his cell, but he kept his eyes on Scarlet all the while. Her reaction to his crimes was exactly what he was looking for, and he smiled at the dhamphir. "I think you heard exactly what I said, or do you want me to go over every single solitary second I spent with my special friends. Well, it started off as something to keep me occupied. The animals at least. Leaving them around cottages, or inside them." He let out a chuckle, and sigh. There was a happy look on his face, the kind that overcame a person when they were reliving good memories. "You know I caught each of those little rascals with my bare hands, then I took a knife to their squirming bodies, and then stabbed them right in the gut." He made a stabbing motion with his hand at that part. "Did you know that even the smallest of animals will fight to the very end for their life. Who knew?"

He smirked at Scarlet, and crossed his arms over his chest. "People though-" Dante wagged his finger at Scarlet. "People are tons of fun. They fight. They scream. Even when they're gagged they make noises in their throat. Like it's going to make them live longer, or something." He shrugged, and laughed. "Stupid really, especially when they're bleeding out since it's already too late by then. Have you ever seen the life draining from a person's eyes, Scarlet?"

Dante licked his lips, and let out a chuckle. "Maybe I'll show you sometime. I won't let you get away like the last one."
