Who: Dante and (Open to many)
When: All day
Where: Dungeons
What: The crazed lycanthrope is finally behind bars

How had this happened? How had he ended up trapped behind silver-lined bars a prisoner instead of out in the wild a free man? How had he let that damn alchemist slip through his fingers alive, and well? The questions that plagued Dante's mind forced him into an almost fugue-like state of eerie silence. He no longer made any attempt to appear, or act normal. What was the point of it when everyone knew what he truly was? What they saw behind those bars was a stone cold killer. Someone who held human life in such small regard that he could squash it like a child squashed small bugs.

The look in his eyes revealed the emptiness of his soul - a dark abyss that could drown anyone who dared to look deep into them. His jaw was clenched tight, and his hands were balled into fists with his nails digging into his palms. Blood dripped onto the floor of his cell, and seeped in between the cracks in the stone. He sat on a chair in the corner of his cell partially hidden in darkness, and shadows. Dante's eyes glistened evilly even in his dim surroundings, and though he was behind fortified bars danger emanated throughout the dungeon as if he could reach beyond them to tear out your heart.

And so he sat in silence in the partial darkness. The guards and the rats were his only company, but at least he could catch the rats and snap their necks. It was the only release he had for his rage. There were at least a dozen on them on the floor - dead rats. Some were torn in half, others were lucky enough to just have broken necks. Some were missing their heads and limbs as if Dante plucked them off one by one. Like petals off a flower, Dante's victims were just as fragile, and just as expendable.

Adrienne and Danté - Early Afternoon
[info]cursedwithfur

There was something that prompted Adrienne to go to the dungeons that day. She was there when Danté was taken into custody, and she had the satisfaction of seeing him being dragged away by a group of very strong elven guards. Try as he might to get away he couldn't, and that brought a smile to his face.

But it left the female lycanthrope with a slew of unanswered questions, and she intended on getting answers from the now incarcerated werewolf. The elven guards on duty escorted Adrienne down to Danté's cell, and stayed by her side as instructed by the Head Council. Though there was no possible way for him to escape not when he was behind silver-lined bars, but he was far too dangerous and demented to let anyone face alone.

Adrienne stood there for a long moment staring into the darkened cell. She caught Danté's form in the corner, and she knew he was staring at her. She took a step forward with her arms crossed over her chest. While she had questions in her mind Adrienne suddenly found herself mute in the face of the man who had attacked her, and her boyfriend in the same week. She simply glared at him; her hatred for him was apparent, and practically oozing from her skin.

Dante caught Adrienne's scent from the moment she stepped into the dungeons. He didn't need to see her to know she was angry - the pheromones she was exuding said as much. He didn't care about how she felt, though; feelings did not come into play when it came to ownership. His mind twisted her 'visit' as something positive, a sign that she wanted to be with him. How could she want anything else when he was the one who had made her in the first place?

He simply stared at her from the shadow remaining silent for as long as Adrienne was silent. Her gaze was piercing, and full of hatred, but he couldn't help but smile in return. He stood to his feet, and stepped forward out of the shadow. "I knew you wouldn't be able to stay away," he said smugly. "Come to apologize for your obvious lapse in judgment?"

Danté's smugness disgusted Adrienne deeply. She just couldn't understand how he believed that she wanted anything to do with him especially after what he had done to Zach. And now that she knew that he was responsible for her attack only a week ago she wanted to see him rot inside that cell for the rest of his life.

"Apologize?" Adrienne crossed her arms over her chest indignantly, and deepened her glare at the sociopath. She could barely believe Danté's audacity, and she shook her head at him. "You've got another thing coming if you think I'm going to apologize to you. After everything you've done to me... to Zach, you don't deserve a damn thing you freak!"

Adrienne could barely believe the words coming out of Danté's mouth, but then again this was the same man who thought he could win her heart by abducting, and threatening her boyfriend's life. "I loathe your existence," she said venomously. "I wish you had never come into my life."

Danté's entire demeanor changed with Adrienne's last statement. His face flushed with anger - a crimson color that grew upward from his neck toward his forehead. His eyes turned yellow, and anyone could see that the wolf was coming to the surface.

"You wish I had never come into your life?!" His words held a guttural tone, and his voice was raspy. His teeth were becoming sharp, and the features of his face were beginning to turn into something monstrous. "I was the one that gave you your new life! Without me, you wouldn't have all of this. Without me, you'd be dead out there from the virus like your mother. You owe me EVERYTHING!"

The guard stepped forward then, but Dante didn't back down. He stood near the bars, his chest heaving from the anger that coursed through his veins. He took deep breaths to calm his anger, and after what felt like an eternity he was finally back to 'normal'. He raked his fingers through his thick hair, and then looked up at Adrienne with the brightest, and happiest smile. "You'n'me, we have history, and that means a hell of a lot more than the whoring around you did with that so-called boyfriend of yours."

Adrienne stood her ground even as Danté grew more menacing right before her eyes. She glared at him as she saw him change, but her entire demeanor changed when he spoke his words. The girl felt a lump forming in her throat, and her heart picked up speed in her chest. She couldn't stop her jaw from dropping at what he revealed, and for a moment her head began to spin. Was it really possible that Danté was the werewolf that had bitten her over a year ago? Was he the werewolf that had stalked her for months before he made his move? Could it be possible?

"No," she said. She wasn't ready to accept the fact that Danté was the man, no monster, that had changed her entire life. "You are not the one who changed me. I won't believe it." Adrienne shook her head, and took a step away from the jail cell. She glared at the lycanthrope, and shook her head in disbelief. "You are unbelievable. Even if you were the lycanthrope that changed me I owe you nothing. Do you hear me? Nothing! And my boyfriend is more of a man that you'll ever be. And I love him, and that is more than you'll ever get. You're not even worth the dirt at the bottom of my shoe."

Adrienne was disgusted by Danté's act. He could fake a smile like it was nobody's business, but that didn't mean that she was going to believe it. The man was a monster; a complete sociopath. She was glad that he was behind bars, and there was even a part of her that wished he would just die.

There was something oddly satisfying about seeing Adrienne squirming just because of a few words he had spoken. Dante's deluded mind refused to see her anger for him, and rather she was just confused about the entire situation, and angry about that. He deduced it was part of the coping process - first there was denial, then there was anger. At the end of it all there was acceptance. Dante could wait for that moment, and so all he did in response to Adrienne's tirade was smile.

"Love has nothing to do with the connection you and me have. A part of me is inside of you, and you can't change that." He crossed his arms over his chest, and smiled triumphantly. "You lose, sweetheart." There was nothing else the werewolf needed to say to Adrienne. She would be his in the end, and there was nothing that would stop that from becoming true.

His words; his vile, wretched words were causing Adrienne's head to spin. Her vision was becoming dark around the edges, and all she could do to push it all back was close her eyes, and take a few deep breaths. Though the girl didn't want to admit it Danté had really gotten to her. She didn't want to believe that he was the one who had changed her, but there was something inside that told her it was true.

He had broken the part of her that had grown comfortable, and confident with what she had become. Adrienne would have been happy never knowing who her "maker" was, but now she was facing him, and he was a monster. It brought back all of her insecurities, and fears. Despite that she couldn't stand giving him the last word.

"No, you lose. If you hadn't noticed you're the one behind bars, and you're going to be there for the rest of your life."

She didn't even give the psychotic werewolf another chance to say anything to her as she turned around, and left. Adrienne wanted to put everything behind her, but now that she knew the truth she couldn't. Not yet anyway. She had to learn to deal with it, and that would take her a very long time.

Scarlet and Dante-Afternoon

You know, this figures Scarlet thought to herself as she made her way into the depths of the dungeon. Sascha would have been perfect for questioning this madman. But of course the lycanthrope decided to sucker punch him in the face. Since the telepath was out, Scarlet decided to go for it since she didn't scare easily and well..she guessed she decided to just go for it.

The Dhamphir was escorted by Elven Guards once very close to where Dante was being confined. She couldn't persuade them to let her speak to Dante alone despite the unlikely chance of him escaping. Surprisingly, Scarlet didn't argue and continued silently until she was face to face with Dante. Well, he was certainly just as intimidating as she thought he would be.

Noticing what he was doing to the poor rats that had made the dungeon their homes, Scarlet crossed her arms to dismiss the disgust and spoke loud enough to make her voice known. "I see you have found a way to occupy yourself."

The sound of footsteps against the cold stone floor caught Dante's attention. At first he thought that maybe Adrienne had returned to see him, but then his nose caught the scent of an unfamiliar female. His attention turned toward the front of his cell as he waited for the stranger's appearance. She came into view a moment later, a gorgeous female specimen with dark hair. It was the hair that pleased him the most.

He wore a smirk amidst the shadows. There was blood splattered on his clothes, and shoes. And the specks on his hands were still being lapped up with slow precision. Dante looked up at his visitor after she had broken the silence with her words. He chuckled in response, the sound echoing through the dungeon. "It's entertaining." His answer was nonchalant, and laced with amusement. "Unless you're volunteering to come in here to take their place," he said indicating to the dead rats. "We'd have tons of fun. I promise." He grinned toothily at her - sharp canines accentuated by the light that happened to reflect off them.

"Of course." Scarlet said in response to Dante's explanation of why he was killing those poor rats. "You're not the subtle type when it comes to entertaining yourself. You kidnap an innocent young man and injure many in the process. I hate to tell you this, but your form of entertainment has landed you in a lot of trouble. I don't know what the full story is, but unless you tell me, then I am most certain that I better request a bed for you in here." The thought of him being let free was ludicrous, but she wanted to know the full details of what his little tantrum was all about.

Scarlet raised a lip in disgust, her own teeth accidentally showing. "I'm sorry. But I am going to have to pass on that offer. Though it disgusts me to have to see you do such a thing, I'd rather you focus on the rats."

How could someone like him live with himself? She just shook her head and at least hoped that he would answer her questions in some shape or form.

The only thing Dante could do in response to Scarlet was laugh. And he laughed, and laughed, and laughed. His voice echoed throughout the entirety of the dungeon, and he didn't stop for several minutes. The acoustics were amazing, and Dante thought he could feel the vibrations of his laughter tingling at his skin. He wondered if Scarlet could feel them, too.

"You're the patronizing type," he said finally. "I like that. It'll give me something to fantasize later on." He looked her over from head to toe, and nodded. "With a body like that you'd look killer in leather." Dante closed his eyes, and let his head fall back. He was smirking, and he made it very clear that he was imagining doing very dirty things to Scarlet. Another chuckle left his mouth, and he finally opened his eyes to look at the vice council member.

He took another step toward the front of the cell. "Innocent? You think that boy is innocent? Do you think it's very innocent of him to take something that's mine? I don't know about you, but I call that stealing." His arms crossed over his broad chest, and then began rocking back and forth on his feet. "If you want innocent then look at the two fae that I strung up, or the busty bartender from the wine bar." Dante was on a roll, and his narcissistic attitude forced him to keep talking. "Hell, even the blonde that I took out into the woods was innocent, and that therianthrope - yeah she was innocent, too. But Zach— no, no, no, Zach is FAR from innocent."

Maybe Dante didn't have anything to do with the therianthrope, but adding fuel to the fire only made him look scarier. He wanted to see if he could make the woman squirm just with his words alone.

The only way the dhamphir could contain an obvious sign of displeasure was staring at the grotesque floor beneath her. Though she didn't know how, she managed to keep her facial expression calm and her breaths steady. Not only was she displeased with his behavior, but she couldn't deny the goosebumps already appearing on her skin. This man was disturbed and she was very thankful for the elven guards who made it their duty to ensure Dante "behaved".

She left room for a joke when he decided to add in how her body would look in leather. "Funny you mention that actually. I make a killer cat woman. Sadly, the only time I'll be seen in leather is on Halloween, in which you'll never be able to attend or in your dreams which you seem to be terribly fond of." At least she was being someone who made sure to give Dante a vibe that she wasn't at least afraid to shoot back at his commentary.

When Dante drew closer to her within the confines of the cell, Scarlet almost wanted to back away but she remained motionless and stern though her heart started to beat a little faster. Suddenly though a slight feeling of anger overcame her when the crazed Lycanthrope began to speak of his crimes. The faes, the bartender. "Wait..did you say." Was she perhaps wrongly accusing Hayate of the therianthrope attack? "The female? You're taking responsibility for the therianthrope who was near murdered?"

Scarlet then let Dante hear her laugh towards him. "Dante. People aren't property. Chairs, beds, houses. Those are. But you can't go on committing crimes over a person that doesn't belong to you. In fact she doesn't belong to anyone." Scarlet didn't regret saying that though her stomach felt a little twisted.

He saw the goosebumps forming along the small portions of exposed skin of his visitor. It brought forth a smirk, and an evil gleam in his eyes. Dante always did like his women spunky; it made it all the more fun when he broke them into submission. That is if they survived that long.

He laughed at her joke, and took a step forward. "Oh honey, what makes you think I haven't already seen you in your birthday suit? You live by the water bungalows, all alone. You used to work at the library before you got elected to the vice council. How am I doing so far?"

Dante began to pace inside of his cell, but he kept his eyes on Scarlet all the while. Her reaction to his crimes was exactly what he was looking for, and he smiled at the dhamphir. "I think you heard exactly what I said, or do you want me to go over every single solitary second I spent with my special friends. Well, it started off as something to keep me occupied. The animals at least. Leaving them around cottages, or inside them." He let out a chuckle, and sigh. There was a happy look on his face, the kind that overcame a person when they were reliving good memories. "You know I caught each of those little rascals with my bare hands, then I took a knife to their squirming bodies, and then stabbed them right in the gut." He made a stabbing motion with his hand at that part. "Did you know that even the smallest of animals will fight to the very end for their life. Who knew?"

He smirked at Scarlet, and crossed his arms over his chest. "People though-" Dante wagged his finger at Scarlet. "People are tons of fun. They fight. They scream. Even when they're gagged they make noises in their throat. Like it's going to make them live longer, or something." He shrugged, and laughed. "Stupid really, especially when they're bleeding out since it's already too late by then. Have you ever seen the life draining from a person's eyes, Scarlet?"

Dante licked his lips, and let out a chuckle. "Maybe I'll show you sometime. I won't let you get away like the last one."

Dante and Marley-Late Afternoon

"Yeah, this is totally retarded and my dad's going to kill me, but whatever." She wasn't a baby anymore and she felt entitled to see Dante since she was among the few people trying to reason with the lycanthrope. At first, she wasn't afraid. She really just focused on the disgusting smell of the dungeon. Unlike maybe most people, she actually didn't try and have the Elven guards go away so she could have a "one on one". She felt comforted knowing that others were there should she feel threatened.

When she was face to face with the very man who caused the havoc at the market, she couldn't help but smile though very frightened inside. In fact her stomach slightly felt like it was twisting. "Wow, some bars these are. I'd really hate to be a lycanthrope right now."

Only waiting a moment she cleared her throat before she spoke. "I..I'm not sure if you remember me. I don't really care if you do. I just want to know..why? Why the hell are you doing all of this?"

It wasn't like there was hatred in her voice. There was almost a neutral tone. It was better to be that way since she was no where near as powerful as this man.

What a lucky man Dante was to have not one, but three visitors so far during his day. Adrienne arrived first, then the vice-council member, and now another pretty pretty brunette. Dante looked at the girl from head to toe, and then back up again. His lips were curled in a perverted smirk, the type that vaguely revealed the dirty thoughts running rampant in his mind. Dante ran his tongue over his teeth, and stood up from his chair in the corner.

"Yeah," he said. He dragged the word out a little, and took a step closer to the bars. "I remember you, but then again I make it a point to remember all the delectable girls I come across. You all belong on a list up here," he poked at his temple a couple of times indicating where he kept his list. As long as he was locked up in the cell he was going to mind fuck every person that came to see him. It was the only fun he could have, besides the rats.

"So you wanna know why?" He began pacing the cell back and forth. The elven guard was watching him closely, and Dante could feel it. "Why, why, why, why-why?" He tapped his chin with each word, and looked up at the darkened ceiling of his cell as if he were really trying to find a good answer for the girl. "Why, why, why-" he continued to say under his breath this time until he stopped in his tracks, and snapped his fingers. "I got it!" He turned to face Marley, and then took a giant step forward, and wrapped his hands around the silver-lined bars as he stood very close to it.

"Because I can." His hands began to sizzle because of the silver, and he let go before the damage would become permanent. He stepped back to the middle of his cell after the guard slammed his staff against the bars. "Because it's fun."
