Who: Dante, Zach, and open to others
When: Evening
Where: Beginning at Market Place
What: Dante's a shady mofo, fo'real, and he's mentally unstable.

The dark aura around Dante spread out like grotesque wings, slicing through the tranquil air in the haven and leaving behind a heaviness that hadn't been present before. Dante flew through the night on those dark wings with Zach in tow. One hand clasped tight around the boy's smaller wrists as he dragged him through the dusty trails of the cottages. The lycanthrope didn't know where he was going, or what he was going to do with the boy. No - he did know what he was going to do with Zach. He was going to kill him. Gut him from throat to groin, and let his innards spill to the earth. He'd display the empty shell in front of Adrienne's house as a final show of power. How could he resist her then if she saw how weak the alchemist truly was? Surely, she wouldn't.

He was only semi-shifted with sharp claws on his hands, and sharp teeth in his mouth. His shirt was torn with the protruding muscles of his arms, chest, and back. The vertebrae of his back was pushing upward, curving into the lumbering form of the werewolf. His muzzle had yet to form, but the madness in his eyes was already there. It had always been there. Lying in wait for the perfect moment that didn't exist. There was no perfection in this - only insanity and chaos. All of Dante's planning didn't mean a thing when it seemed violence was the only way to make things happen.

He should've known that the only way to get things in life was to take them.

All logic was gone from the man's mind, and he made his way toward the market place without another thought. Dante didn't think of the people he would encounter, or the fact that someone might recognize him. He was a rabid animal running wherever his feet took him. Instinct had taken over, as did madness. Madness must never be overlooked.

He was in the market place before he knew it, and there were eyes on him. Staring at him. Whispering about him. He heard them all, too. It was too much. He growled as loud as he could, a warning to everyone to stay back.

From Dione's point of view, the fact that he hadn't come near her in over a week could only be viewed as a rejection. The tiny scars left behind by his teeth had itched for a day or two only to stop. She could still feel them under her fingertips. He'd left bruises on her arms from where he'd shaken her, but those had faded completely.

She'd faded back into her life, little more than a ghost of a woman. So she had been her entire life. So she expected she would be for the rest of her life. Dexter had talked to her, rambling on for hours about how she needed to talk to someone in authority. How she'd been attacked by a rabid creature. How she wasn't safe with such a thing stalking her. Dione had stopped listening to him after the first four hours.

"I won't send anyone after him. He deserves better from me," Dione defended him as best she could despite the fact that her frustration was rapidly mounting.

The only thing a monster deserves is a cage. He'd been saying things like that since the attack. Dione was practically deaf to him.

The woman had been in the Wine Bar when the commotion started, people speaking in hurried and terrified whispers about something going on. It was Dexter who came to her, settling next to her at the piano and saying: You'd better stay here. Your monster boyfriend has taken another captive.

Pulling her hands up from the keyboard, Dione picked up her cane and decided she would not stay where she was. Did she think there was really anything a weak little blind girl could do? No, not really, but she got up and moved along anyway.

Dione, stop. This is a bad idea.

"Everything is fine," she reassured him, moving to the Wine Bar door and out onto what she would call a porch. "If you're afraid, don't look."

The growling sound should have frightened her, but she'd already faced death against him once, why should she worry about it now? She didn't know if Dante could see her or not, but she could easily hear him.

I have no idea if I handled this right or not.

Truthfully speaking Adrienne was a social creature. She enjoyed the company of friends, and she enjoyed making new ones whenever she could. It was the main reason she was thrilled when she and Edelia made plans for a night out at the Wine Bar. She hadn't been there in a while, and the last time she was there she had almost gotten into a fight with a man who was more than twice her size. It wasn't a bad situation especially since she had Adair to back her up, and they had made a new friend. All in all it was a good night.

The night started off well. Adrienne and Edelia made their way to the bar, and after a couple of drinks their little group of two expanded to four when they met River and Cameron.

"So this guy came up to my friends and I," Adrienne said in the midst of laughter. "Completely wasted, and he tried to hit on my Ashley. It was the saddest thing I had ever seen in my life," Adrienne said as her laughter grew. "This guy could barely keep his balance let alone his liquor. Next thing Ashley knew he was puking all over her shoes. It was disgusting, but I couldn't stop laughing about it."

It was fun sharing drunk stories, especially when those stories were about other people. Adrienne tried very hard to steer away from her own embarrassing moments, not that she had very many, but the ones she did have were big ones. Adrienne couldn't remember a bar ever being this much fun back home, and the only thing that could have made her night better was if Zach was with her. She smiled as she thought about her boyfriend, but she didn't let it distract her from the company she had.

It was hard to say just how much time passed before the commotion in the market place began. Adrienne's sensitive ears picked up on the sound long before the excited whispers, and even before the piano player had risen from her bench. She had ignored it at first, but there was something going on that caused all of her feral instincts to kick into gear. She wondered if her friends felt it, too, and before she knew it she was on her feet.

"I wonder what's going on," she said calmly despite the fact that her heart was racing in her chest. Why was she so anxious all of a sudden? Something wasn't right, and Adrienne had this terrible feeling that whatever was going on involved Zach. She didn't know why she thought that except it was the only thing that could make her this scared, and nervous. She really hoped that her instincts were wrong.

Edelia wasn't going to lie. She thought Adrienne was a pretty fucking awesome chick. She tried to hide it behind a persona, but in truth she was thrilled to have a true friend in Town. Most people she didn't get along with, but the lycanthrope was an exception. She didn't like dainty friends, she liked the types that if she got into a fight with, she'd probably kick her ass then help her up and they'd be back to being friends again.

When the two other guys joined, Edelia couldn't have been happier. Hello hotties. It was about fucking time she saw some eye candy that was single single single. She met a cute guy who was a short little Asian that was taken. Then she met a few doctors who weren't single but these two? Hot and single. She liked the how weird the stoner was and how frank the Medical Examiner was. Okay, some might find him creepy but she found him hot. Did one of the librarians have a brother? Not important. Single Doctor? SCORE! This seemed like a perfect day.

Edelia was drunk after like ten shots of tequila. Not to mention she felt like her stomach had a storm within it since it mixed oddly with the rum and cokes she had. She couldn't help but crack up at Adrienne's story and time passed by so easily when chatting with her and their two new friends.

"Oh god, one time, when I was so wasted I couldn't recall where I was, I slept naked in my next door neighbors house." She gave an embarrassed laugh before she suddenly stopped. Something seemed to be bothering Adrienne. With the awkward, tense commotion she could sense that something wasn't right. She got to her feet and slowly began to walk, looking behind her to see if her friends were following.

"...I don't think it's good."

River wasn’t really a fan of the wine bar simply because he always went up to the bar and ordered whatever the other person was having. Two or three drinks after whatever the other person was having and he was totally gone. One or maybe ten times he fell asleep behind the bar and no one even noticed. He decided maybe going during the day time was a better idea. Maybe people wouldn’t consume such strong beverages. Though he had to say, he kind of dug the vodka with orange juice.

He first met Cameron who was sitting next to him and he was having a “screwdriver”. After explaining to River one time there was no screwing of a driver, nor was there any screws in the drink, he realized it was the orange juice and vodka drink he liked. So for once, without oddities sakes, he was having what the other guy was having.

Sometimes new people scared him. Girls didn’t because usually they were harmless. To him, good looking females were especially harmless. At least that was what Umeko told him. It took him only a moment to get up and join Cameron to sit and talk with the girls. They were funny and easy to talk to. Some of the things he didn’t get right away but he played it cool. Though looking like his usual self, he glamoured his wings like he usually did in the wine bar setting so he just seemed like a short male.

He found Adrienne to be incredibly funny and he could relate to her and Edelia’s story. She was quite funny as well. “Yeah man, I’ve like fallen asleep behind the bar a few times and no one has noticed.”

It was only a few moments later when first Adrienne got up and then Edelia began to walk beyond the Wine Bar. Cautiously, he followed. He began to hear a commotion and raised a brow. “Oh man, there’s not like some killer on the loose is there? I’ve been hearing rumors about psychos and all. I would hate to be around for like, a massacre.”

Cameron's day was already starting out rather interesting. He had someone asking him about the meaning behind some jazzed up name for orange juice and vodka. There were a shitload of species around. His money was on him being one of those not to familiar with the human world. Nonetheless, after a few moments the guy he learned was named River was a riot. Funny guy to ease over the day. Lately, the days had been slow in the Medical Pavilion because sadly there were no bodies to look over. It was kind of a good thing since he wouldn't want anyone to actually fall a fatal victim to the ridiculous rumors floating around.

Eventually, they joined two females who were quite funny and pleasant to talk to. Cameron hadn't really talked to anyone besides a few doctors at the Medical pavilion so it was more than nice to talk to "regular" people who just were out to relax. Not to mention he didn't feel odd talking to the females though he felt old. He must have been about eight years their senior at least.

Everything seemed perfect for once as far as a relaxing, pleasant day. He couldn't help but laugh at the stories he heard and he would have shared a very embarrassing story of his own but then he noticed that his fellows were following Adrienne's lead with sensing that something was wrong. Uneasy, he followed their footsteps outside of the Wine Bar. Now he was walking slightly beyond, making sure everyone was okay with this choice.

Cameron then spotted what he knew was the piano player somewhat strayed from the people who were really terrified with what was going. He then heard growling, monstrous growling that was all too familiar. He wasn't sure where the source was coming from though.

"You should be careful. I don't know what's going on for sure, but being out here probably isn't good for you." He didn't want to treat her like the "poor blind girl" but he wasn't sure it was good for her to be in one place without company since she might get pushed around by the people who were running about. Not to mention, who knew what the hell was going on.

Dione didn't turn to look at any of those who drew near to her. Those who had met her or even heard of her know that her eyes didn't work and thus she found little use for making any attempt at eye contact unless she had something she specifically wanted to convey with her face. At the moment, her mouth had quirked into something that looked like it might be a frown, but one could only guess at the expression.

He has a point. You can't be certain that he won't hurt you. Dione waved her brother off as though he hadn't said anything to her at all. His opinion of Dante was well known to her. She did not agree with him. Therefore, she didn't find it necessary to listen to him.

The commotion in the Marketplace seemed incredibly loud to her. Maybe even more so since the virus had begun to change her from within. She could hear the shouting as if it were much closer than it should have been.

"Something is wrong with Dante," she said it quietly as if she didn't want to share the information, but she said it aloud. "They'll hurt him." One would expect that she would be more worried about Dante's captive, but she didn't so much know Zach or care about him. Dante was her primary focus. "I can't let them hurt him."

And with that, she moved to go out there and confront a psycho if no one tried to stop her.

Dione, STOP! Think about this. Dexter's voice, as usual, fell on deaf ears. Apparently, she had become as deaf as she was blind.

Adrienne was having such a good time with her new friends that she didn't want to believe that something bad was happening. Couldn't life just be drama free for one night? That seemed impossible these days, and peace seemed so far away the moment monstrous growling reached her ears. It rang like a bell, a din that blocked out anything else around her. Her breath caught in her chest when she saw the scene, and she felt her head spin.

Not very far from them was Danté, half-shifted and out of his mind, holding Zach in his grasp. "ZACH!" She couldn't help but cry out to her boyfriend as she pushed her way to the front. She was about to leap forward impetuously when the blind girl's voice caught her attention. Adrienne looked at her, stunned. This girl knew Danté, and she wanted to protect him.

The hairs on Adrienne's neck stood on end, and there was a low grumbling in the back of her throat. When the girl stepped forward Adrienne grabbed her arm firmly to hold her back. "You're not going anywhere, especially not to help that evil bastard," Adrienne said.

"HOLY FUCK!" Edelia accidently yelled out, then covered her mouth while she looked towards Adrienne "That's your boyfriend!? I met him, like not that long ago! We were smelling really yucky cream. I almost got him to get this horrible cream for you." She was the girl she almost made miserable? Small world. Right, on to the task at hand. "Yeah! What she said!" Edelia replied while she looked over at Dione.

She clenched her fists as she watched the monster clutch on to Zach. "You want me to bite him? I totally can!!! I mean I can bite him. Fucking bastard can't storm around this town like he owns the place. Especially like King Kong." She turned her gaze towards the Art Shop.

"And if he ruins the Art shop, I'm fucking him up every single day for the rest of his life. I finally finished the interior artwork." She coughed. "If Zach gets really hurt, I'll of course kick his ass like four times a day. You can do the fifth."

River pointed to Edelia. "What she said too! Why would you want to be around a creature that's throwing some guy around like a barbie doll? I mean, if that guy makes it out alive then he deserves a medal. I saw a movie once and one of those things ate someone that size like it was breathing in air." The fae stated like it was an appropriate time to point that out. He was a little drunk, though. But he probably would have said that regardless.

"Why would you bite a giant, angry half werewolf thing? Wouldn't that make him for sure kill that dude?" He asked Edelia, then looked at Adrienne. "How are we going to be able to protect captain rag doll?" He doubted his fae dust would do any good, but maybe he had one piece of good advice.

"If you draw attention to yourselves, isn't that what he wants? To upset you? Especially if he wants to kill him? You may as well throw a rock at him." If they did throw a rock at him, he totally wanted in on it.

Dante, Zach, and Open to Two/Three More!

Zach barely had time to react when Dante appeared in his house and snatched him up like he only weighed five pounds. Zach had never been waylaid liked that before, so how was he supposed to react? He shoved and yelled, kicked and more, but it was nothing against Dante’s strength. The muscles wrapped tight around his ribcage were crushing, squeezing the life out of his lungs. Zach tried to breathe, fighting all the while but loosening his grip. He wasn’t getting anywhere.

Dante had taken him out of the house. “Where are we going?” he’d demanded, but the werewolf refused to answer him. All Zach could hear were growls — like Dante was just an animal. Wasn’t there a shred of humanity in the man? Anything at all? Zach was stuck in a vice grip ready to deliver death, but he wasn’t ready to die just yet. Not this young, not like this. There was some sort of mistake. This wasn’t the end in store for Zach, not at the hands of a madman who looked like he wanted to eat Zach for breakfast. Something wasn’t right.

He fought until he could barely move, and then he realized they were heading toward town. People were starting to show up around them, and Zach’s heart leapt with joy. “Help me!” he yelled, and he kept yelling it. “Help me! Help me!” He shrugged against Dante once more, looking towards the people.

. . . But Dante was half-shifted, a rabid werewolf on the loose with a victim in tow. Who would come near him and risk themselves or the innocent teenaged boy? Powers or not, they could get someone hurt. Or worse, get someone killed.

Brasco was the first to realize that something was amiss.

The temperature had been relatively harsh during the winter months in the haven; the dogs had gone practically stir-crazy cooped up in the bungalow, so Sascha had brought Sweeney and the excitable black dog with him into Helicharis while he spoke with one of the Head Council members at Town Hall, as requested. He was more than a little surprised when they offered him one of the Vice Council seats he'd lost out on during the election, but he'd stammered out a grateful acceptance nonetheless.

Now he was on his way to the fresh food pavilion to pick up something for dinner, completely consumed with his thoughts and a bit oblivious to what was going on around him- until he felt the first spasm of mental alertness from Brasco, followed by a deep, resonating growl. He blinked and glanced over his shoulder to where the mutt had been trailing him only moments before, and his brow furrowed when he realized that both dogs had suddenly gone rigid, their attention trained on something approaching from behind.

There, in the center of the path and not twenty paces away, stood a partially shifted and very vicious-looking Dante; in his clutches was a frantically struggling Zach. Oh shit, was the first thought in Sascha's mind, why does this keep happening?! First it was Zach and Simon, and now...wait, Dante? Something was seriously wrong with this picture.

By this point, the hair on Brasco's back had already bristled up anxiously, and he returned the were's menacing growl with one of his own as he advanced toward the pair. Sweeney was about to follow his lead, but Sascha quickly halted her in her tracks with a gesture of his hand and a firm mental command; the other dog wasn't quite so obedient. "Brasco! Goddamnit, heel!"

Oh, this was not good. What the hell is going on?!?! Sascha mindspoke desperately in the direction of the approaching duo.

Zach had a vise grip on the arm of Dante’s around his neck, looking around frantically for someone he could focus on — someone he knew, whether close or just acquaintances, someone who knew him that would help him. His luck when it came to a stranger was low, and Zach didn’t trust many people to intervene on his behalf. He had already gone to the Head Council. They had sent out notices about Dante, informing the town that they were looking for him, but it had only been for a few hours. How many people knew Dante was dangerous in just a few short hours? Zach wasn’t about to bet his life on it.

He was lucky. Of all the people in the world, he spotted Sascha Connolly. The two of them knew other on more than just a passing note, but Zach wasn’t aware of the connection between Dante and Sascha if there was one. He probably should have responded via thought, but the voice in his head was as loud as one speaking. Zach hollered out in response instead of staying quiet.

“Sascha! He’s crazy — he’s going to kill me! Please!” Zach didn’t know for sure what Dante wanted to do, but he got the strong vibe that his life wasn’t all that important to Dante. The werewolf could snap him like a twig if he wanted to do it, and he was so close to it. “Get off of me!” Zach growled at Dante, stomping on the man’s foot. It wasn’t much, but it wasn’t like Zach was just going to stand around and get toted off without some kind of fight. Chance or no chance, he’d always been a fighter.

It hadn't been an incredibly remarkable day for Katy yet. She had been doing some grocery shopping specifically at the butcher's getting some meat. She had run out of food in her ice box back at her cottage and figured it was time to go out and replenish her stock.

She was carrying the carefully wrapped meat in a cloth bag when she walked out of the shop and hear the familiar sound of what could only be a manic werewolf growling. She looked down the path and gasped when she saw a partially transformed man dragging a boy through the marketplace. "What the hell is going on?"

Katy recognized Dante as Douglas by sight and smell, the name he had given her the day before Christmas. She jogged over to him and narrowed her eyes. There was no way a newly made were could partially change like that. She was still experimenting with that herself, and wasn't very good at controlling it at all yet. Had he lied to her? Why lie? They didn't even know each other.

"Hey! What's going on?" She approached carefully, keeping wide berth between herself and the manic were. She had little experience with partially changed lycans, but she had plenty of experience dealing with her older brother when the reality of their situation set in on him and made him go slightly manic.

Katy held out her hand in Dante's direction, not close enough to be attacked by any means, she was still a good twenty feet away from him and the young man he was dragging. "Douglas, You need to calm down. I'm not sure what's going on, but you need to let him go. We can talk about this." Her eyes were wide and worried as she tried her best to turn the bad situation around.

Well, Sascha had certainly missed the memo about Dante. He'd only ever met the man once before at the Wine Bar, and he'd seemed friendly and down-to-earth then- hell, he'd ordered Sascha a glass of OJ! To see the were in his present state (and with a hostage to boot!) was more than a little baffling, but it was obvious that Zach was in distress, so Sascha couldn't exactly afford not to take action.

"Alright, this is what needs to happen," he said slowly, keeping his voice even as he held out a hand defensively and began inching toward the beast. I know you can hear me, Dante. Put the boy down. This is going to get ugly very fast if you don't, I promise you that. Sascha left his thoughts open to all those close at hand rather than singling out the were since he had neither the time nor the energy to do so; hopefully everyone present would keep a cool head.

Sascha had seen the familiar female lycan approach and try to talk some sense into the crazed creature, so at least there was some kind of back-up nearby. Of course, she wasn't exactly half-shifted, either, and probably not much of a match for Dante in her current form; Sascha clutched tighter at the cane in his hand at the thought, thumbing the handle out of its sheath and exposing a bit of the hidden blade within. They might have had the lycan outnumbered, but they were still outmatched. Sascha had never been one for violence, but the situation was quickly escalating into something serious.

Then suddenly and without warning, Brasco charged at the hulking were, teeth bared and spittle flying, and all Sascha could do was lunge forward in vain as he tried to rein in the defensive canine. No, no, no!! This was NOT supposed to happen!

"Is everything alright?" Marley gave a reassuring look to another employee in the shop. For some reason she felt such intense emotions, she almost was passing out. She never had a panic attack before, but she felt like one was on the rise. "I-I'm going to get some fresh air." She could barely get the words out before she slowly made ways outdoors, clutching her stomach because she felt near sick. Why was there such a heavy weight settled upon her? Never had her empethtic abilities come down on her so harsh. She didn't see anyone nearby.

Well, it didn't take her long to notice a very fucking scary Lycanthrope with what appeared to be a not so willing companion. She noticed that a few people were trying to reason with the crazed creature. She near ran towards the small group, the sense of the crazed creatures emotions so overwhelming she could kind of felt ringing in her ears.

By the time she made it to the scene she could see a man lunging to protect his dog and she aided him in doing so, grabbing the upper end of the dog. She then somewhat pushed the stranger. "Are you fucking out of your mind!? Do you want to be Lycan nip?!" She probably was talking more to the dog than the stranger.

It appeared like she was in on the mod squad. More like her ability was. She just wanted him to chill the fuck out so she could feel a sense of calamity in her head.

"Okay, just take it easy alright? No need to go Godzilla in this place."

Why the fuck did he come through the market place?! There were people around, people who knew him, and apparently knew Zach. He didn't think they would get in his way - he was partially transformed, and a crazed lycanthrope was no laughing matter. One wrong move and blood would be spilled.

Do it! Draw blood! There's no turning back!

The voice in his head was manic, but Dante knew it well enough to push it aside. Now was not the time for that. He had to get away from the crowd, and away from the bastard who was talking into his mind. His head spun toward Sascha, and the barking dog on the leash. He licked the sharp teeth forming in his mouth, and smiled wickedly at the telepath. He could still speak since he wasn't completely transformed, and he did once he let his creepy grin sink into Sascha's soul.

"Well if it isn't my friend from the wine bar." His voice was raspy, and feral. Devilish. It was eerie how calmly he spoke in the midst of the intense confrontation. He looked from Sascha, to the dog that lunged at him, and then the girl who managed to save the dog before he kicked it across the market place. The other lycanthrope he met on Christmas, Katy, was there, too. They were coming out of the woodwork now, and he had a sudden urge to rip them all to shreds.

"Stay away from me! All of you," he growled with ferocity. Dante jerked Zach forward, and grabbed him around the neck with his free hand. He held him high above the ground, stripping the air from the boy's lungs. "This is between me and the boy." Dante brought Zach down, and then punched him hard in the gut. He leaned close to Zach's ear.

"And you need to learn to keep your mouth shut."

The look in Dante's eyes when he set his gaze on Sascha, coupled with the psychotic grin on his face, was enough to temporarily freeze the telepath in his tracks. This wasn't the man he'd met at the bar, it couldn't be; this man was evil and warped, with bloodlust practically rolling off him in waves. For just a moment, the tendrils of Sascha's mental energy brushed at the edge of the Dante's psyche, and the sheer darkness that met him sent shudders down his spine.

The strange girl who'd helped restrain Brasco chose just that moment to shove at his shoulder, and the action broke him out of his daze enough to realize that the were had just socked the (much) smaller boy in the gut. Now things had gone too far.

"Out of my mind and straight into his," he said a little absently to the girl, taking the opportunity to grab two of Brasco's legs from beneath him and flip him onto his back in a submissive pose before sending a brief but determined spurt of mental energy into the canine's mind. I am the alpha here. STAY. Surprised by the sudden display of dominance from his human, Brasco did exactly as he was told with nary a whimper while Sweeney flanked her master's other side in a defensive crouch.

"Stay back," Sascha murmured to the girl beside him, holding an arm out in front of her to brace her for any oncoming attacks as he turned his attention back to the captor and his prey. "Nice job, Dante," he responded, contempt lacing his words. That gleam still lingered in the lycan's eye, and Sascha knew there would be no reasoning with this madman- he was beyond logic now and in pure desperation. "You had me completely sold, and all for a lousy glass of orange juice. But if you think this is just between the two of you, you're dead wrong."

Sascha focused his own energy into the only kind of offense he could wage against the hulking half-wolf, staring Dante square in the eyes and wincing slightly as he let a torrent of psychic energy pelt down on the other man's mind. The effect was similar to what he'd done during the harpy attack, but his concentration had since been sharpened by practice and delivered an even harsher and more disorienting blow to his victim. He might not be able to put a stop to Dante's plans, but he'd damn well try- and give the beast one hell of a headache in the process.

How do you like your eggs, Dante? Scrambled or fried?

She couldn't recall how it happened, but Alana found herself sitting across three people she had just met. First she had met a young man named Ryan who was utterly fascinating. She had seen him in the wine bar and sometimes she saw people talk to him with great intrigue. He seemed highly intelligent not only by default, but maybe he had...she didn't know. Some sort of ability that wasn't coming to mind. Being human was becoming more and more depressing no matter how many times she tried to think of what Marcus told her.

It got busier and busier while the two continued to talk and soon after Vivian, a very funny female who was very free talking joined them. She too was intelligent and her job field was pretty intense. Aeronautics sounded like a kick ass field. Alana loved to jump out of planes, but she never could work on them.

Finally, a very good looking Irish gentleman sat with them and it didn't take long for them to get laughing and connecting well. She really needed this. She didn't think the day was going to go wrong at all.

Ryan always thought that his natural tendencies to blabber out random pieces of information would get on people's nerves, but so far he had been hitting a lot of luck. He wasn't trying to use it as a friending mechanism or as a way to pick up girls. He just so happened to blurt out information that may have coincided with what someone was talking about. It was like an automatic thing. Luckily, no one was on the verge of telling him to shut up. In fact, the lady he first encountered was interested in what he was saying. He talked about anything from random facts about how gross certain food was, to his personal favorite which was weather.

He made more room for Vivian who had a very wonderful profession. Aeronautical Engineering was a very difficult and trying job and he respected her for that. Of course, it seemed like the three of them were daredevils since one of them was a former stunt woman, one loved to toy around with planes and he enjoyed chasing storms.

When another gentleman joined him he was much more tame in his profession but interesting nonetheless. He liked how, though different they got along. He had seen many disputes going on during the day and had seen more than enough since his arrival.

He didn't think the day was going to have a dark moment at all, but his gaze went towards where everyone else's was going when they heard a sudden commotion. "You hear that? I guess so since just about everyone else did. Although when one person hears something, usually everyone assumes they have either heard something, or they just do what the general population is doing and that's wondering what the hell is going on."

Vivian didn't have many friends in the sanctuary. She was too into her work to really want friends. But when she found herself sitting with her four..she guessed new friends, she found herself comfortable, able to laugh with ease. It was nice to know that though they were in a different place, not all things had to change.

Time passed by easily, but she was suddenly troubled when Ryan reacted to the people who appeared alarmed, alert. She was alert when everyone else was, but she kept only one eye stealthy towards the curious crowd who was suddenly growing panicked. "Yeah, I heard that. It's getting harder to hear since everyone won't shut the hell up. I'm getting a closer look." She cleaned her hands with a napkin before she pushed various people aside and went towards the door. She wasn't alone. Other people wanted to know what was going on as well. The Siren looked behind her with a "well?" expression.

"I didn't mean that I had to go alone, you know. In case you wanted to tag along." She continued on her journey out the door.

No one was going to report you if you just didn't give a damn about being at the library. It was one of those days for Brian where he didn't feel like doing much. Unfortunately for him, his house had nothing in it food wise, so he was screwed and needed to head out to the Fresh Food Pavilion. But he got distracted and ended up in the restaurant. It ended up actually being a good thing since he ended up chatting with three people that made his job seem pretty pathetic. He would never jump off rooftops, into fire, or out of a plane. Not even with a gun to his head. However, maybe he would chase a storm. If a gun was to his head. The Aeronautical Engineering would probably bore him to death, but Vivian made the job seem exciting.

He could honestly just sit on his ass all day and talk with his new chaps, but misfortune set in when everyone seemed to be on edge. There was most certainly a commotion going on from afar. He was all right with looking, but when Vivian decided she wanted to take a peek, he hesitated before he followed. Catching up with her, he turned towards the determined female. "Isn't this kind of like a bad storm? We hide instead of going head first in its direction?" Of course, this meant that Ryan was into this thanks to his analogy. They all were for checking this out thanks to them being thrill seekers.

Oh, Alana was along for the ride, this was for sure. She was following the gang the minute Vivian got up. Alana had the tendency to go wherever the action was. Sure, she wasn't a stunt woman anymore, but she still had that dangerous craving for trouble. As she walked side by side with Vivian she noticed that quite a ways ahead, the people were panicking. "Well, I guess that's where we are heading." Some of the people that were following along Alana, Vivian, Ryan and Brian's stride turned away and decided to seek shelter in the Restaurant. All Alana knew was that she was that cat that was more than a little curious.

The noises grew louder and she veered a small corner too see a rather interesting spectacle. She couldn't say horrifying because she wasn't close enough and it took a lot to frighten her. "What the..hell?"

Ryan was following Vivian just as fast as Alana was. He chased storms, so he was sure he could handle the curiosity and fear a couple of people had. Sometimes people overreacted. It was best to follow your instincts if you were curious just to at least see what all of the fuss was about. So far, he didn't feel any reason to be alarmed. Not even when more and more people decided to high tail out the premise.

When Ryan turned the corner with the rest of the gang, he noticed what was terrifying people right away. He himself wasn't scared, but he wasn't sure about his newly declared friends. "Maybe it's just me, but I guess people are a little more than terrified because whatever that thing is just you know, causing a bit of hell in the market isn't human."

The clairvoyant could see a few people trying to negotiate with the crazed creature and he decided that he was still intrigued enough to move just a little bit closer. There were plenty of places to duck down while watching the scene unfold. It seemed like the small group opposite of him were trying to negotiate with him. So far, judging from the crazed man, creature whatever-'s behavior.. it wasn't going to well.

It was more than pretty cool that Vivian had a group of new friends who were willing to be as "intruiged" as she was. She was pretty hasty in her steps and they had managed to keep up. The first thing she did when they caught up with her was somewhat jog towards another building that was much closer. "He looks somewhat like a Lycanthrope. Just not fully turned. I've seen Lycanthropes before, but nothing like this." He noticed a young man under his grasp and noticed that the situation wasn't good. She didn't mean to sound cold hearted but she looked at the others. "I don't think we should help."

She was close to the scene along with the others, but she couldn't quite make out what they were trying to discuss. It was getting pretty heated, the half shifted man seemed like he was getting more on edge by the minute. All she knew is that he would probably get more and more irritated if more people got involved. "I guess all we can really do is either leave, or see what the hell happens next. I really hope they negotiate well enough to help that kid."

Brian was probably the least coolest of them all. He rubbed the back of his neck rather nervously while he followed the gang. But it wasn't like he was the last in line. He was next to Alana. The sorcerer would look over at her a few times to see if there was any sanity left in her. Since..everyone was running the closer that they got, it might not be a good idea to get too close to whatever the hell was happening. He liked a little chaos, this seemed like something that the Town Hall should handle.

He knew before Vivian stated so that the creature was a Lycanthrope, half shifted so he simply nodded at Vivian. "Yeah, I can tell by the bat shit crazy form and the fur..and stuff." He made somewhat of a hand motion while trying to explain. It was hard to watch the creature interact with those brave enough to encounter him. It was especially hard to watch his captive get tossed around. "I agree. I don't think it's all that wise to get any closer. I mean, on the plus side, we could at least be among you know the five hundred witnesses the idiot has decided to show himself to. But otherwise I can't think of any other benefits."
