Who: Jake, Aveira and Marcus
When: Late Afternoon
Where: Blacksmith and Weaponsmiths Shop
What: Jake and Aveira finally put the gloves on and poor Marcus gets stuck in the crossfire

Jake usually got in after Aveira did. She was an early riser and she was a bitchy one at that. Not to mention bossy. He kind of liked the bossy part, but the bitchy part he could do without. Maybe he could do a little sing-song in her honor and she would chill the hell out and stop trying to wear the pants on who did what in the shop. Jake knew what he was doing. The Siren didn't need a chick barking orders at him every five minutes. He usually tried not to be so moody around the vampire, but the rumors were starting to get to him. Part of it was because he was interested and the other half of him was annoyed. Why the hell wasn't there a newspaper in this joint? Rumors blew over the truth.

To try and ease the whole rumor deal, Jake fully decided he hated how the place was arranged. It was too neat and department store looking for him. It was time for some rearranging.

So, since the bitchy little blood sucker wasn't around he started to toss the wooden swords in the outside trash. Why did she even make those things? One, they looked like stakes used to kill vampires and two, she didn't reek of "I love children".

When he was finished dumping all of her crappy kiddish shit outside, he closed the door and went back to doing his own work. Making real weapons and items that people could use.

"How's that for pants wearing?" He grumbled.

Of course, he had no idea she saw the part where he was throwing her useless shit out the back door. At least he wouldn't have to make up some sort of half assed story

Aveira had especially been on edge lately because she had been feeling like she was going through some tug of war with her emotions. PMS like symptoms perhaps due to change of blood type that she was drinking in the Medical Pavilion? The rumors? Hell, she didn't know. But she didn't like it. She had moments where she began to miss being that loud and rowdy gal that people got to see back home. Not to mention she was nice and liked to try and get every hostage situation taken care of. Her motto was always "Let's get home and let's make it right."

She just needed to make it right today by enjoying the calming feeling of making potentially fatal weapons. She was only a few feet away from the door when she heard some sort of ruckus. The vampire spotted some of Jake's immature antics and sighed. She wondered what Siren's tasted like. Was it similar to Sushi, only for vampires? She'd have to put him on the "potentially kill list". Of course, that was if she could get away with it.

"That mother fucker." Of course, he was being a prime time prick on the day she was late.

The vampire stood in the doorway and let the Siren have his pride for a few moments before she spoke up. "It's great. I would be traumatized seeing you without pants."

She sat in her designated area and began playing with one of her knives. "There are hundreds of weapons here, Jake-ass. Do you really think starting shit with me here is a wise choice?"

"You know and here I thought you were a bitch." Jake commented sarcastically before going back to working on an actual knife. "What a shame to be proven wrong." He searched for a water stone and began to sharpen the knife he was just about done with. The sound of the stone hitting against the mental was more relaxing than miss Elvira talking shit.

"You're insinuating that you could beat my ass? There are indeed like three hundred weapons in here. But that doesn't mean you could pull a few fast ones on me just because you got the whole fangy super power shit going on." He wasn't done. He set the knife he was working on down and pointed a finished one at her.

"Watch it. There is a few attackers on the loose. Do you really want to be added to the tally? Poor defensless Siren against mood swinging vampire? I got to tell you. I think I would win the sympathy card for that one. Then whoop your ass."

It kind of was a dumb idea to cut fruits and vegetables with a dull knife because when the knife suddenly broke through the rough surfaces, it kind of could cut anything else in the way which happened to be Marcus' hand. He had this problem for about, oh he didn't know. Ten days? He just was a little to shy to go out into the Market and just wrapped a crappy scarf around his hand. That was another thing. Medical Pavilion. He should use it.

On this day, he quietly made his way towards the weapon smith shop to just get a new knife for the sake of his hand. The rumors were actually kind of entertaining to listen to surprisingly because it was interesting to hear how humans were so conditioned to talk about what they heard the moment the news broke out.

When he got to the shop, he saw the entire altercation and just kind of stood there and didn't speak until things dulled down.

"...Did I come at a bad time?"

Aveira was about to get out of her chair and at least threaten the pain in the ass, when suddenly there was this awkwardly cute looking guy in their shop. She could tell by the look on his face that he saw the whole ordeal go down and that probably might have made the shop itself look bad. So the vampire had to come across as friendly as possible while in truth she was more than just a little irritated. "No, you didn't. I was just dealing with the shop's resident douche bag. Every shop has one believe it or not."

Smiling towards Jake, Aveira went towards the stranger and made a motion proving that she didn't bite and he didn't even know she was a vampire yet. "I see you have a horribly bandaged hand there, kiddo. This mean you're looking for a better cutting knife? I have a good set, just let me know what size and what style."

She motioned for him to go on her side of the shop. Yes, they were going to start having sides now because the most limited conversation was best. If they had to even be within a few inches from each other there might be a blood bath.

"Resident douche bag?" What the fuck? Jake had earned his fair share of names, but he wasn't sure he liked resident douche bag. It reminded him of a feminine product or something. Gross, just fucking gross. "And every store as a resident bitch. I guess you are in one hell of a Weapon shop. Don't worry though, resident bitch is eager to take care of you. She must be hungry. I see you have a hurt hand. Maybe you'll bleed and she can have herself a snack." He made chomping noises and wiggled his brows.

"If you're looking for a short blade with an easy grip to assure that you won't slice your hand, I'd come over here. Plus, I'm not a bloodsucker. So, I don't have alternative motives. She's a man eater, like literally my nerdy friend."

Though somewhat amusing, this was also potentially really bad considering the two workers really seemed like they wanted to slit each others throats. Name calling was one thing, but he could tell behind their words that there were some serious unresolved issues. However, he better just shut up and just try to get his knife. After that, he would get the hell out of there.

When Jake was informed him about Aveira who was now drawing him to her area, his face somewhat twisted uncomfortably and he turned towards Jake. "Yeah, so tell me more about that blade?" He stood a good few feet away from Jake and inspected his hand, almost like he wished he would hurry up and heal already.

"You sure it won't cut my hand? Or did you just say that to get me away from her?" She was very intimidating, so he wasn't surprised that she was a vampire. He doubted the guy was lying about her being a vampire since they were trying any sort of motive to piss each other off.

Aveira gave Jake the finger when Marcus wasn't looking along with an annoyed scold. "I'm not into the nerd blood type, sorry to say." The vampire stated with a mock pout before she now eyed Jake like she was going to slit his throat in a slow and steady motion with the katana she began to play with. "Jake-y boy here is a Siren. You've heard of those right? The ones that sing their way into manipulation. For all you know he's trying to give you some piece a shit that will slice that poor little hand of yours in half. Either that or he's trying to seduce you. He's pretty good with the boys." She gave a shrug.

"I make my handles out of various products from the ceramics. I'm like the professionals store, Jake is like K-mart. He tries to pretend he knows how to make good weaponry, but really he is just passing time and sulking since there are no items to make his lovely Winchester guns. " She made a gun motion with her hands and gladly pretended to shoot Jake.

"Shame. That means there would be actual use for you in this shop." Oh, how sad she was.

The minute she got on him for being a Siren, Jake's blood almost began to boil. He didn't know why it got to the point where he was about to take a long sword off the shelf and slit her throat right in front of the kid, but it was getting bad. Jake didn't take pride in being a Siren. Yes, he knew that he shouldn't dish it out if he couldn't handle it and he could always handle her going after his balls or saying he was a Siren well worth killing in general. But saying that he was a Siren textbook to the evil females AND gay? Not good with Jake. Especially since he still felt a little insecure with the whole Siren thing going on.

"Tell you what? Why don't you stay in your corner and shut the hell up? I know you'll be doing me and the world a favor."

Now she was going after his skills? Oh, it was on. His glare was probably more than just a little intense.

"Listen here bitch. I have been making weapons since I was a kid. It kept my family going. You can make all the jokes you want. You can call me queer, but I'll have you know insulting what I do is a line you don't cross. Don't act all bad ass because you're someone with tits who understands how to make weapons." He walked a little bit closer in her direction.

"But at least I don't practically live in this place because I actually have friends. I'm not an Elysium wide cunt."

He sighed for a moment, then returned to Marcus. "Alright. Where were we?"

"Look." Marcus' voice was a little shaky. He never was good at addressing his honest opinion but in this case it was more than essential. "I really like what you both have to offer, but considering the hostel environment. I'm..totally just going to go." He ran his sore hand through his somewhat unkempt hair. "But, I'll tell you what. Whomever survives this battle to the death that I'm sort of feeling coming on, can send me the knife at the library. I work there. Just attach my name to the blade and I think I'll be all set."

He let out a slightly frightened, relieved breath once he got out what he wanted to say out and turned to leave. He could hear them arguing from quite the distance. Though somewhat comical for a while to watch, he really hoped they actually didn't fight to the death.

Because he totally saw them doing that.
