"Where's SEPTA when you need it?" the vampire muttered under her breath as she wandered the forested path that lead back to Helicharis.  The walk didn't seem so long when she was headed to the Enclave.  That was probably because she was so excited on the way that she didn't even think about it.  Even once there, she'd lost track of time, playing for hours before a glance out the window brought her back to reality.

Yolanda glanced up at the darkening sky, trying to figure out what time it was.  It didn't work, not like a watch would.  All she knew was that dusk was coming soon, and she'd known that before she checked.  It wasn't even a vampire thing, though she obviously payed more attention to that sort of thing since she changed.  Idly, Yolanda wondered what Greg would think of the fact that she was starting to pay less attention to those details.  He'd probably tell her it was irresponsible and dangerous to forget her vampire limitations or something.  Like she could forget.  She frowned, and focused on the walk, rather than having a hypothetical argument with her so-called-sire while he wasn't even there.

By the time she got back to town, the last sliver of sun was ducking behind the horizon.  This, to Yolanda, pretty much meant party time.  Not wanting to waste time dropping off her stuff back at the cottage, she changed course, heading directly to the wine bar with her canvas gig bag in tow.  She walked through the door, all her irritation was washed away by the bustle of the crowd, and the live music that filled her ears.  It wasn't Henrietta Hudson, but the music was good, and the drinks were free. How could you go wrong?

Yolanda took a seat at one of the stools, removing her scarf and tossing it onto the bar in front of her as she did so.  She shot a friendly smile and a wave at the bartender, certain she'd seen him working here before.  She couldn't remember his name for the life of her though, which meant it was a pretty safe bet that they had never really talked before.  At least, she hoped that's what it meant.  If it turned out she'd forgotten, well, that would be embarrassing.  She was normally better at that sort of thing. "Got anything strong?" she asked with a grin.
