Who: Travis, Leon and OPEN
When: Late Night (Travis is weird)
Where: Town Hall Archives
What: Travis wakes up Leon to have a peak at the information on Hayate.

"Dude. Isn't this pretty cool? I mean, it's not cool that some psycho killed more than enough people." The fire mage tossed a brow over. "Well, I think he's guilty. But I am not letting that get in the way of what everyone else thinks. You know me, I'm a very open guy." Travis almost gave a quick batting of the lashes before he continued. "But when I got the letter, I was expecting it to self destruct in about thirty seconds. I mean, I don't think this place has enough technology to do such a thing, but this is serious business." Childish. That was him about now. However, once he got to the Town Hall, his demeanor would change. Travis probably had an automatic switch somewhere on his body. If Scarlet showed up, maybe he'd ask her to find it.

Travis put out his cigarette and looked on over to Leon. The poor guy was near sleep walking. "Jesus. Lighten up. No one goes to bed at ten anymore unless they are under the age of ten. Besides, I feel much cooler doing this at night because it almost feels illegal." Juivellie, that explained him sometimes too.

When they got to the Town Hall, Travis had to hit Leon on the back of the head to prevent him from stalling then silently went towards the archives. Travis felt like a VIP went there was no one stopping him and his sleepy friend on his way to the archives.

Once inside, door closed he began to get out the information in Hayate.

"Aliright Hayate Ishi-blah bah. Let's get a look on what information the archive has on you."

It was just him and Leon currently, but who knew. Perhaps more of his fellow Vice Council members would show up. Maybe one member thought they would be able to look at the archive in peace and..well that idea made the most sense to Travis.

OOC: Just an idea I had for a late night meeting! Leon has to reply then feel free to jump in! Come on, you know you want to!

"Can I ask you why you had to wake me up? There is someone more for the late night archive hunting and discussing such as Giles. I am sure you guys would get along swimmingly." Maybe it was just the Therianthrope that didn't care for the Empath. He sighed while he closed his eyes and followed a general direction. He knew by Travis' cigarette smoke that he wasn't going to bump into anything if he double tasked. Get a little shut eye and listen to Travis go on and on. Hey, why not even talk a bit too?

"So you think he's guilty? Hmm, I wonder if you're with most of the population. I'm not one for listening to the rumors." When he felt the cigarette smoke fade away he knew that he better open his eyes or he was looking at running into a tree. "You know. Not everyone stays up until three in the morning. Not to mention maybe, Oh..I don't know. Besides having the title of a Vice Council member they decide to contribute to the haven by working at the Medical Pavilion. " It was kind of interesting how he actually had much more work to do now so he could use that as a "fight back"

Rolling his eyes, Leon shook his head. "Right, because right now seeming like people who break the law is so cool. What great role models we are." Not long after and he really only shut his eyes for a moment, he was hit upside the head. All he did was bite the inside of his lip while giving a look of blatant annoyance.

Leon sat down while Travis got out the information on Hayate. "Mhm. I like the creative flare you gave to his name. We're off to a wining start."

He began to look at certain pieces of "evidence" quietly.

"Am I going to have to separate you two?" Scarlet folded her arms lazily and sat in between Travis and Leon while she somewhat slyly took some documents from both Travis and Leon. She just acted as if she had been there all along. The truth was, in her case she was hoping that she would be at the archives by herself. She liked to brainstorm and come up with ideas in peace. Then later, she was going to talk with each member individually. But this perhaps was a good moment to get to know Travis especially better since she wasn't all too familiar with him. Scarlet liked to know how the other members thought about these types of situations.

Scarlet didn't like the prolonged silence, so she spoke up. "So, instead of being silent, let's discuss what we should do first." Scarlet was kind of the pushy sort of woman. "There are many ways we can go about dealing with this in my opinion. By that I mean the various tactics and steps. I was thinking about it on my way here. I think first we need to think about anyone who might know anything before we get down to handling the situation at hand involving just dealing with Hayate. Starting with the basics: Does he even have any friends? When he was arrested was he with anyone?"

She began to look through the documents for that specific item of information. "Come on guys, help me out."

Well. Travis was going to like having this woman on board. She got right to business. He leaned into Leon and craftily whispered. "Are you two seeing each other? Because..if not, I was thinking.." Right, back to serious mode. He fished through the documents and found what "Miss in Charge" was probably looking for.

"It says here that he was with a girl named Chris Jung when they arrested Hayate and she was pretty upset when they took the vampire away. In my opinion, off the record- if your crazy enough to be in the same room as him, you're a friend." Travis couldn't place the girl. This meant that he would have to ask the Elven guards to dispatch a letter to question her.

"Here's something and I'm just throwing this out there. I may sound like a bastard in saying this. But if she doesn't want to talk and she may be withholding important information, is the right course of action to try and be firm?" He then thought of an ultimatum." Or should we send Scarlet over here to do some girl talk? If their friends, she might do everything humanly possible to make sure he doesn't fall hard on his ass for this. However, we have to do whatever possible to make sure no one withholds information. So, it's either try and find a common ground with Chris and a female on this council or try the intimidation route which might not be a good idea."

Leon gave a sigh and then tossed a serious look at Travis. "No, we're not seeing each other. If we were, it would be none of your business. You don't see me asking questions about your personal life in the middle of a meeting do you?" The guy probably wouldn't care, but even so. He thought he would address the fact that it wasn't very appropriate.

The Therianthrope couldn't help but question why Chris was so upset. You don't get upset over an acquaintance. How long have they been friends? Were they just friends? Leon just didn't mean raising the bar to best friends either.

"You know, for once, I don't think you're being a bastard." Leon's tone was teasing. "We could always have Scarlet go and try to speak with her and if she doesn't speak we can try and be more firm. Of course, she might not be shaken by having us all in the same room. Just because she was upset about Hayate, you never know what her personality is going to be like."

Waiting a moment, he made his choice. "Have Scarlet try and talk to her. Chris might feel more comfortable around a female. If she doesn't want to talk to her, then Chris gets to deal with all three of us." Leon would have hated for that to have been the case, but they had to do what they had to do.

Scarlet gave Travis a look like she would rip out his jugular. She could too, but that was juvenile and she really didn't want to end up in jail. It didn't look great to have a Vice Council member locked up in a dungeon. But imagining the whole thing gave her enough satisfaction. "This is a professional meeting and what Leon said is correct. That's all that matters so can we please, I don't know, concentrate?"

Scarlet felt a sense of doubt boiling in her body. She wasn't all that well with people sometimes and she didn't want to come off as overwhelming and cruel. She just wanted Chris to know that she wanted answers. She wasn't going to harm the girl, or treat her with disrespect. The only time she would get firm with her would be if she felt the girl was withholding any information. Yes, yes she coached herself. She could do it.

After a long period of silence, she spoke up. "I'll talk to her. But only if it's alright with you two.." She looked at Travis as if she contemplated if he counted. "Gentlemen."

"You really take this job seriously and then like ten hundred plus, don't you? The other woman does too. I guess it's a female thing. I mean, don't get me wrong, I take this very seriously as well, but I always figured a little humor here and there might help. You know?" It was a lost cause with Scarlet and most likely with Leon as well. Back to business before Scarlet kicked his ass.

He was surprised that Scarlet had agreed to talk to the young lady that was perhaps involved with Hayate. He expected her to maybe dodge that bullet. But she seemed more than confident about the situation. "It's more than all right with me. I'm more okay with going the easy way." It was just up to Leon now.

"How about you, Sir Saunders?"

Leon gave an obvious nod of approval. "...I..suggested this whole thing. Why would I suddenly not approve? Doesn't make much sense now does it?" Of course, he was just suggesting that Travis was tired. They all probably were and this whole issue in general was tiring.

"Go ahead. Have an Elven Guard send her a message. I think it's a much wiser choice than just showing up at her doorstep, don't you think?" It might be intimidating to have a Vice Council member just show up at your door. She already had to deal with Elven Guards.

Leon rose to his feet and straightened out his jacket. "Come on. Let's go home. I'm ridiculously tired and the last thing I want to do is change my mind." Not that he doubted Scarlet or anything.

Scarlet gave a tired sigh and returned everything to its rightful place before she went towards the door and looked towards Travis before she looked towards Leon with a small smile on her face. "That's a great idea. I'm going to do that as soon as possible. I'm just going to rehearse what I should say. I don't want to ruin this. This could be our chance to get a good lead though she might be hard to question."

She straightened out her jacket as she felt a sudden chill then smiled. "Goodnight boys." She knew they would follow close behind, but she didn't wait. She got to walking ahead, the worry about meeting and talking Chris all around her.
