Who: Irei and Luella
When: Afternoon
Where: The Arts and Trade Enclave
What: Irei is actually interested in the far away structure and it's purpose and decides to make an appearance at the dedication.

Irei looked around the buildings before making his way up the many platforms. He was wearing his own coat now. He didn't think he would have to lift one of Sascha's for today seeing as it finally seemed to be warming up a little. He still wore a scarf and gloves over his hands though. He was still prone to getting a chill.

He head up the stairs and to each platform, not wanting to get in the way of people who were planning for the party that was apparently going to happen that night. Irei was obviously a tad early, but the ride there was such a long trip. It took him a few hours even by horse. He wondered why they had planned all of this so far from where most people seemed to live. He thought it was a little odd.

He stopped on a platform and walked over to the edge and leaned over to rest on a railing. The view was magnificent from up upon the huge hillside. He took a deep breath. Irei was in a very mellow mood. A fleeting thought of what it would be like to jump from this height and to feels his body crash into the ground.

How come you aren't getting drunk somewhere already? You know you don't want to listen to me. Come on it's five o'clock somewhere, right?

Irei shut his eyes, rubbed his temple, and growled slightly. "Just shut the hell up and leave me alone already." The voice or ghost never encouraged the random suicidal thoughts that sometimes occurred in Irei's head. Of course not, he thought, because then the torment would be over.

Luella was a PMSing people person. What that meant was that sometimes she was very nice and easy to get along with and other times she was blunt and somewhat of a bitch in people's eyes. It depended on the weather she guessed or on her overall mood. Sometimes a workout at the gym or her husband also decided the fate of her mood.

No, she didn't want to be at the Arts and Trade Enclave when it was busy because she simply liked visiting places when only a few curious visitors wondered about. She for some reason found it more refreshing that way. She knew a whole shitload of people would be around later and that's when she would bow out.

She was about to take a rest when she overheard some man talking to himself. "Jesus Christ what a nut job". There weren't only people with abilities, there were also psychiatric patients? Well, at least the shrink could know that he was busy.

Finding a place to relax near the man, Luella glanced over at him. "Seriously, don't jump or anything. I doubt you'll even break your neck. How much would it suck to be a cripple instead of just calling it quits if you know what I mean?"

Yeah, not necessarily a good negotiator. But she was just telling it like it was.

Irei didn't recognize the voice behind him, but he could assume that she wasn't a direct threat like a certain vampire or that man he hadn't seen since before Kaiya had been murdered. The parasitic spirit that followed him was concerned with preserving his life and had a little habit of warning the necromancer when it sensed something malicious. It certainly added to Irei's own observant nature.

Without turning around to look at who had spoken, he picked up and rock and tossed it over the side, watching it fall to the ground. "If I dove head first I would probably break my neck." He glanced behind him at her and wondered how long she had been there. While being able to speak the language fluently, his voice still held a trace of accent letting Luella know that English was probably not his first language.

He quickly looked over the woman who had apparently been observing him and was sitting back away from the railing. He could tell right away that she was older than he was, but that certainly didn't make her unattractive. She looked a little familiar, like he might have seen her somewhere around the bungalows at some point. During the colder days he would just stay inside his bungalow observing people because there was little else to do.

Irei smiled slightly at her. "Are you so worried about a total stranger?"

Luella smiled at the stranger. Cute, he really was cute. In that mysterious sort of way. Her friends, yes she did have some would swoon over him but she thought he was kind of crazy. He had nice hair though. Hm, why the hell did guys around here have better hair than women? Haven trend? Maybe.

She walked until she was next to him and took a good look at where his falling destination would be. "Well, now that I fully see it. If you dive like a pro swimmer I guarantee I will hear your neck snap from here. There is always doing the bungee and going back first. Cracking the spine can finish it too. Not to mention a rock to the back of the head outta do it." Yes, blunt and morbid. She couldn't help herself.

She noticed his accent right away and he also seemed to be a little familiar. Obviously not all Asians were from the same bubble. But maybe they lived at the Bungalows. "I'm worried some of your guts might fly in my face." She joked then waited a moment. "Yes, maybe. You look familiar, maybe I don't want you doing something stupid without knowing who you are."

She offered her hand. She didn't know why. Luella always wasn't the type. "I'm Luella. You know, I am almost positive we both live in the Bungalows."

Irei tilted his head at her as she moved next to him. He openly admired her without shame. Her body was petite and slim, although he could tell from the way she moved this woman wouldn't be easily put down.

Irei took care of his appearance from habit. One could say he was a bit metrosexual because of his need to look well presented. But in Japan where he was born, men often spend as much time on their appearances as women do.

"Well a lot of people seem to know me better than I am used to. watashi wa yumeidesu.*" He grinned at her, wondering if she would even know what his boasting statement meant. He was a little amused by her morbid description of how one would die if they jumped a certain way off this deck. It reminded him a little of his own cynical self.

*I am famous.
