Who: Devin, Constance, Theora and Dylan
When: Afternoon
Where: Town Hall
What: Devin tells some important information

Oh the world was fucking ending. Usually Devin just let things be, but he found himself cursing quite a few times while he headed to the Town Hall. He never really said hello to anyone as per usual while he made his way down Helicharis and to the area. He figured he better smoke as many cigarettes as he could because he had gotten in trouble for smoking in the area before and he had no idea how long it was going to take once at the Town Hall.

When he arrived he let his voice ring out. “Hello?” He was so out of there if no one was there and he was letting his conscious fall back to the pits of hell. “Hello?” Christ, there were people there. He cleared his throat as he began to speak to the three people he encountered. He wasn’t one for being intimidated, so he spoke up.

“Listen. I have something important to say. You make appointments? If you do, then I’ll probably not want to talk to you. But if you have time now, you’d be making my day. Oh! And thank you for nominating me. I still need to get my ass moving on that.” He smiled quite normally and found a seat nearby to make himself comfortable.

Constance was an upfront kind of woman, and she liked it when other people where upfront as well. Devin's entrance certainly brought a smirk to her face, and she recalled the state in which they found him shortly after. It caused the smirk to fall off her lips. He was unconscious at the scene of the crime when the two fae women were murdered. It hadn't been pretty, but that was life — or death, to put to frankly. Constance took in a deep breath and exhaled. She didn't want to think about murder, but it was a part of her job now. A job she sometimes had doubts about wanting to fulfill, even if the people were more than friendly most of the time. Council work didn't always suit her. Constance liked the rugged sense of everyday life and running a haven was beginning to wear on her nerves.

"We're not much of ones for appointments," she answered him first before anyone else. Constance had a way of speaking up before Theora or Dylan because she was the more brash one of the group. "So, sit down. Let's talk about this now." She smiled about the nomination part, but the elder woman wasn't sure if she could say anything to that. It wasn't as if she nominated him personally. One or more of the citizens did somewhere, and his thanks was better given to them. "What do you remember of that night? We know we've heard your story already, but we need to hear it again."

“Well, I always like me a demanding woman. I’ll have to remember you for date night.” He replied with a cozy smile while sitting down. He liked the woman’s attitude and though he liked to push people pass their limits, this woman could probably rip him a new one. Especially in cases like these where the situation was hardly laughable.

“Let’s see.” He’d better skip the part about getting fresh with someone in the bushes, so the look on his face was blank for a moment. “I was drunk and it was dark but I can tell you that the hot blond-“ he cleared his throat. “The blonde was grabbing at my pants and asking me to help her. I told her to hold on and that I was going to her help.” Which he now realized was stupid.

The rest was still a bit blurry, but better than before. Even when though Devin was a person who tolerated things quite well, he tended to block things out, drunk or not. “The other poor woman had the man hovering over her and I tried to get a few swings at him but he took care of me. Obviously he doesn’t do men, because here I am talking to you.”

He kind of studied the African guy because he looked like his banker back home not to mention just overall intimidating if he were not have a pair and well the elf, he’d just have sex with.

Though Theora was several several hundreds years older than Constance she still respected the woman as an elder. She didn't mind in the lease that Constance charged forward in many of the matters that the council had to deal with; in this case it was an asset. Finding answers to the murders of Kaiya and Faye was a priority with the council, and those answers started with Devin.

The priestess leaned forward against the table, arms folded on the tabletop as she listened intently to the man's words. It was the same story that he told them initially, except he was a little bit more sober this time around. Perhaps he would be able to shed some light on a few more things. "Mister Blair," Theora said once he was done speaking. "Do you remember anything else about the attacker? His height maybe? Build?" The priestess was looking for any sort of information, anything that could help narrow down the list of possible suspects. So far, everyone in Elysium was a suspect since the killer was literally amongst them.

She sighed softly, though not in annoyance at Devin or anyone else in the room. "Did the man say anything to you during the attack?"

“I like the Mr. Blair thing. It makes me feel important. Also, coming from you, Theora..” Okay, onto the serious matters. Two ladies died and he needed to stop coming unto an elf. He sighed and began to think about the man’s build. Though Devin may have not been the best fighter in the world, the culprit was able to hurt him good. His stomach hurt for a good few days. “I can’t be so sure on his build or height. But I can tell you this. He’s strong. One hit to the stomach and I felt like I was being hit by a bear. One hit to the head and I was out cold. Usually I would suspect that someone could hit at least once before you bite the dust for the night. Granted, I was drunk -but even so. I would say his strength is very impressive. Though he preyed on two helpless women, he could easily beat on someone my size. Hell, maybe even bigger.”

He thought about if the man said anything and he didn’t recall the man saying shit. “The man said nothing. He was too busy getting off on killing two shiny faes. When I ruined his moment of pride I think he was too territorial to speak. “The more he talked about it, he actually felt bad that he didn’t do something, or keep a better eye out. Maybe at least the blonde one would still be alive.

“I hate to say it. But he made them suffer. He killed the Asian one first because I remember the blonde asking me to check on her “sister”, but she was already gone. That is the only thing I know for sure. You can’t forget the sounds. I recall the blonde being in a lot of pain. They didn’t die peachy. ” Devin didn’t mean to sound cruel, but if he found the bastard, it would be pleasant to know that what he shared was that he not only killed him, but he killed him in ways that should have him killed in an “eye for an eye” way though not the correct way to seek justice.

"As you cannot comment on his build or appearance in any way, it would lead me to believe the attacker was not too large of a person or you would have noticed the way in which he towered over your form," Dylan commented out loud, pondering over all of the information they had received thus far and on previous days. "You are sure, however, that it was a man?" Even Dylan would not underestimate the possibility that it may have been a woman. While it seemed much more likely it would have been a male attacker, the sex of the murderer was not something that could be ruled out as a question unless Devin was positively sure.

The question of the killer's strength was another thing to take into consideration. "Would you say the attacker had three times the strength of a man such as yourself?" Dylan inquired further, wishing to paint a better picture of the murderer in his mind's eye. If they knew the sex and the strength, those were two important features to narrow down the pool of suspects, even if the pool in general still remained quite large. It was hard to deter Dylan from his task, no matter how large the pool of options.

It pained the djinni to hear how the young women died, though. "It was a cruelty that cannot be calculated by the emotions of a rational mind," he said. "We know this much. Whoever committed these crimes in not in the right state of mind. The murderer's connection to reality is fragmented, perhaps nonexistent. If we can find the proper suspects to question, we can discover through the aid of an empath, telepath, and psychologist who the real killer is out of them all."

"Sir." Devin made sure to make himself sound as non sexiest as possible. Though of course that was going to be a chore. "I don't underestimate women, but for one considering our contact I am a man who highly appreciates breasts and I felt none. I was drunk, but I can tell tits drunk or not. Two, because I know my behavior, if I suspected she was a female, I would have tried fiercely to up my attacking force. I'm not one who likes to be defeated by a female." He glanced at Theora. "I'm just being candid."

Closing his eyes for a moment, Devin tried to place himself at that night. It really just took the faded pang in his stomach he still felt. "..Yes. I'd bank on it. I still felt the aftermath of the blows for a few days. The one to the stomach still bothers me a bit when I move a certain way."

Devin (and he did this rarely) truly listened to Dylan in his explanations. "I only know a psychometric and another alchemist as far as metahumans go."

Constance nodded her head, feeling as though they had found out everything they were going to from this man. It wasn't enough information to go on, and they still had no clue who could've committed this heinous crime. It nagged at the back of Constance's head, but she kept it to herself. Glancing over at Theora and Dylan, she knew they were done asking questions as well. What else could they possibility ask? She was fresh out of ideas, too.

"Thank you, Devin," Constance said. "I believe that's all we'll need of you for now. But if we think of anything else, be sure to keep yourself ready for prodding." She sent a tight smile his way, the defeat hiding just the back of her dark eyes. "We'll be putting our best people on this case to help solve it. If only we had the time ourselves, but there's a lot to attend to in Elysium." Constance offered a bit of a softer smile next. "Sometimes, though, we like to tend to things ourselves. Just to make sure it's done right."

She was referring to now with her last statement. Constance especially liked to take care of questioning herself, even if it hadn't gone so smoothly for her in the past.

The Head Council finally bid Devin a farewell and dissolved their meeting. They had other matters to attend to now.
