Who: Nikita, Adair and Adrienne (Let me know if this is okay babes!)
Where: The Wine Bar
When: Evening (6:30)
What: Meeting some new people and having a good time

“Ugh, fuck this curfew.” Nikita stated out lout and stopped her walking for a moment to stomp on her spent cigarette. What would happen if she stayed out at night? The babysitters club from hell was going to punish her? She would kick their asses if they laid a hand on her. She had every right to be outside and have some fun. She cooked her ass off until about five o’clock and now she wanted herself some drinks. Usually she was getting drunk at about midnight but just in case she lost the fight against the curfew, she decided to get her a drink at a pathetic time of 6:30.

She opened the door of the Wine Bar and didn’t care to leave the door open for the person behind her. Yeah, she was a sweet pea like that. Hey, that was thirty seconds of precious drinking time she didn’t want to waste. The person wasn’t a cripple, they could hold the door for themselves.

She got to the bar and smirked at the barmaid. She’d hit that. Nice big ass and tits to die for. “Scotch on the rocks please.” She let her smirk grow. “Leave the bottle.” She sighed and looked around to see if anyone else was here to drink up before they had to go home thanks to the curfew. There actually was a lot of people inside.

Adair wasn’t too upset about the curfew since he slept a good amount of the day. But at the same time that meant if he woke up at 7 pm he only had an hour to go about the town which was pointless since it took awhile to get to the town. It blew, but he favored being alive over bitching about it.

The psychic was growing increasingly depressed about things he didn’t really want to discuss so he noticed he was heading to the bar more often. Sheldon could make some mean drinks and he always could count on the bloke to take him home. He never got super trashed or anything..well..until recently. Whatever, life was short.
Today was even better since he brought Adrienne which he hadn’t seen in forever. He ran into her in the marketplace and near dragged her ass to enjoy some booze. They had some serious catching up to do!

The wine Bar made him laugh now, thanks to meeting a very interesting man the other day. The guy sure knew how to make a first impression. Hopefully he would continue to meet interesting people. Though he met a good few amount of civilians, there were plenty more to meet. He saw a lot of..interesting people upon sitting at the bar with Adrienne.

He accidentally bumped elbows with a young woman he hadn’t seen before and held up a hand of apology. “So..sorry.” He then turned his attention fully to Adrienne.

“Okay, dude! You need to tell me what the hell has been going on!”

Adrienne hadn't expected Adair to drag her to the wine bar when she ran into him, but there she was sitting on the stool next to him at the bar. She laughed happily along with him, settling comfortably with an elbow propped on the bar as she turned to face Adair.

"Oh my god, nothing has been going on," she said with a bright smile. "Well, nothing personally I mean." She shrugged a little and when the bartender came up to take their order the lycan ordered a rum and coke. "Shit, let's see... the other day I got all caught up in that damn harpy attack. And then before that I was just hanging around." She would have mentioned something about being a pallbearer for Faye during the fae funeral, but she didn't want to bring up such a sad topic.

"What about you?" She said with a playful swat on his arm. Adair was the type of friend Adrienne could be herself around. She was always more comfortable around guys than girls if only because she grew up a tomboy. That wasn't to say she didn't have girlfriends, she did, more currently than any other time in her life. She wasn't complaining though, there was something to be said about having a female friend who could empathize with you.

"Got a girlfriend yet?" She teased. "How about that girl over there," she said pointing to some random girl at one of the tables. "She's cute! Lemme go talk to her."

Adrienne jumped from her barstool and started to move in the girl's direction. She turned around to talk to Adair when suddenly a rather large man bumped into her and pushed her straight into the girl sitting next to Adair. "Hey!" She said defensively. Adrienne might've been at least a foot shorter than the guy who bumped into her, but she wasn't afraid of him. She turned to face the girl she had been pushed into. "I'm sorry," she said quickly but sincerely before she turned to face the big guy.

"You almost knocked me over and pushed me into this girl! You need to apologize to us."

The man turned to face the werewolf, marching up to her and staring down at her. He could have been terribly intimidating if Adrienne was the type that could be intimidated. Though admittedly, he was way bigger than she was and though she was a werewolf this guy could have stomped on her easily. No matter though, Adrienne wasn't about to show fear to this guy. He did owe her and the other girl an apology, and she wasn't going to move until she got one.

“For..fu-“ Nikita was about to go off on Adrienne for making her almost dumb her drink in her lap but there were two reasons why she didn’t tear that bitch apart. One reason was a-she wasn’t at fault and wasn’t the bitch of the situation at all and b-she tap that ass in a hot minute. So, she had better help defend this sweet little ladies nice ass. She looked tough and she was sure that the stranger could sort of handle this on her own, but she was going to step up to the plate.

“Hey asshole.” Nikita began as she lit up a cigarette. “I think you should apologize to the girl.” She stated, pointed to Adrienne with her cigarette. “A hot gal like that doesn’t deserve to just be bumped into and then walked away from. Just say you’re sorry and then move the fuck on.”

The stranger just stood there like the two girls had a lot of balls to expect him to say he was sorry. “What the fuck? Is it that hard to say you’re sorry or are you just retarded? I said-say you are sorry or we will take this outside. All three of us against your sorry ass.” Yeah, she didn’t even say hello to the hobbit, but whatever.

Unlike the two girls, Adair was scared shitless of this guy. Adrienne was a werewolf so she could tear this guy up better than he could and the other girl who got him involved just seemed to secretly have a set of nads. He on the other half planned to just sit there and drink his booze idly and help Adrienne only if she needed help. He wasn’t a bad friend or a coward, but the last thing he wanted was for Adrienne to get into more trouble because he had a bad comeback or he looked like a bad competitor.

But now he found himself getting up and standing along with the three. “Yeah, dude. Stop being a wanker. We’re just trying to have fun and all we want is for you to say sorry. It’s not hard. You’re mom told you, or at least should have told you how to say it when you were a little tyke.” He looked at the female stranger a little unsteadily and then gave her a look reading “gee thanks”.

It was quite amusing that he was the second shortest of the bunch, but he had two badass looking females on each side, so he felt pretty badass himself.

Adrienne was pleasantly surprised when the girl she had been pushed into decided to stand up beside her against the tall jerk. She kept quiet as the girl went off on the guy, and she couldn't help the smile that was growing on her face. The werewolf wasn't exactly looking for a fight tonight - she really just wanted the guy to apologize. But when Adair stepped in on the action she couldn't help but giggle inwardly at the possibility that they could all very well get into a fight.

Since Adrienne was the one who approached the man in the first place she took it upon herself to step forward in a challenging manner. "Look," she said with a hand on her hip. "I don't who shoved a stick so far up your ass that you've lost brain function, but all we're looking for is an apology." The tall man glared at Adrienne, and then at the two people who stood next to her. One of the man's friends had come up to him during all of this, and was now nudging him to respond.

"Fine," he said with a grunt. "I'm sorry." It didn't really seem like he meant it, but at least he said the words. The lycan arched a delicate brow upward, a movement that mimicked the curl of her lips. She felt triumphant, and as she crossed her arms over her chest. The brunette turned to Adair and the unknown girl, beaming at them both.

"God what a jackass!" She said with a shake of her head and roll of her eyes. She let out a laugh and a soft sigh. "I swear, some people are just jerks!" Adrienne turned to the girl, and smiled. "Thank you for that, by the way. I'm Adrienne, and this is Adair." She nodded her head toward Adair when she said his name. "And it's really nice to meet you."

Nikita turned around to put out her cigarette and offered her hand to Adrienne first with a smirk. “Nikita, it’s nice to meet you.” She looked her over for a moment, checking her out because she knew that her killer ass and nice boobs from the outside was all that she was going to get because her gaydar was on the downside. Damn it all. Where were the lesbians? After a moment she shook the hobbits hand. He was adorable, so she smiled. “It’s nice to meet you too, Adair.” After a moment, she slid her hands in her back pocket and motioned towards the bar.

“You can join me if you want. The place is packed with a bunch of asssholes since they’re so upset about the curfew. I mean, I’m not too pleased about it either, but I’m not trying to get into a fight. The bar area has reasonable people and it’s a lot more quiet.” She assured.

The Therianthrope gave a small motioning of the hand before she began to go back to the bar table. She was one of those girls who didn’t trust drinks being left strayed (because she did some nasty things to people’s food and drinks when se first started) so she ordered a fresh beer. “What’s this curfew all about anyways? I try to listen to the Town Hall shit, but it’s like I have an iPod in my mind and I block everything out.”

Okay, so Adair may have like never scored with a chick ever in his life, but he knew it when a girl was scoping out another girl. Maybe it was the porn he watched. Maybe Australian porn was the only porn with storylines or something, but he could tell Nikita thought Adrienne had it going on. He could second it, well without being a lesbian. Well, he was a lesbian underneath since he liked girls and was bitchy.

He looked back at Adrienne and followed Nikita to the bar. "Sure, if Adrienne doesn't mind." He rubbed the back of his neck while giving a nervous chuckle. "Yeah, I can see what you mean. I mean, it's only going to be temporary. I don't see why everyone has to act like it's the end of the world."

Adair ordered a rum and coke and folded his arms after he sat at the bar table. "You know, there just has been a lot of crazy shit going down." He liked Theora, she was really hot. So sometimes he zoned out when she spoke. "It's just taking precautions in honor of our safety but people aren't seeing it that way."

Adrienne was completely oblivious to the looks Nikita was giving her. She hadn't had a girl hit on her before so she wouldn't have known what to look for in the first place. She might have felt a little uncomfortable initially, but it wouldn't have lasted. Adrienne judged a person on their character, not on their sexuality.

Nikita was good people, and Adrienne didn't mind in the least joining her at the bar. She ordered a beer as well, and settled onto a stool in between Nikita and Adair. The topic had turned to the curfew, a hot topic in the haven recently, but Adrienne didn't really have a strong opinion on the matter. She thought it was a good idea for safety, but she agreed with Adair; she didn't think it was going to last forever either.

"A lot of stuff has been going on, but you know we shouldn't even think about stuff like that. We're here to have fun, so let's just have fun." Adrienne raised her glass in the air, and looked at both Nikita and Adair. "To good times, and new friends." She smiled, and waited for her companions to join her in her toast.

Nikita liked the girls attitude. She was right. There was no use being pissed about something she couldn't change. On the plus side it wasn't like she was being banned permanently from being out late at night. It could be much worst as well. What if she couldn't be at the wine bar at all? That would really piss her off.

The Therianthrope couldn't help but smile about Adrienne's toast. It was a good one so she didn't feel inclined to raise her glass. "To new friends" She gingerly brought her glass to the other two. She only waited for a moment to get on with some conversation. Looking Adair over with an arched brow, she asked Adrienne a very blunt question.

"This your boyfriend?" She smirked at Adair and patted him on the shoulder."That a boy." Sipping on her vodka, she never gave it a thought that they could simply just be friends and chuckled somewhat smugly.

Adrienne wasn't always tactful. She often blurted things out without thinking about another person's feelings. Sometimes, she blurted things out with the sole intention of being hurtful. Blunt, and to the point, Adrienne always got her point across. Nikita's question could have garnered a very different response from Adrienne. The lycanthrope could have laughed out loud, and given an "are you serious?" sort of look to the therianthrope. She could have done all of that, but she didn't. Adrienne wasn't always tactful, but she was this time around.

"Adair is a very good friend," Adrienne said with a smile. "Sometimes that's even better than a boyfriend," she added as she bumped her shoulders with him. Adair was a very good friend indeed, and Adrienne thought that she was very lucky to have him. "Though let me tell you. Any girl would be lucky to have him as a boyfriend." She smiled over at Adair, and then at Nikita before their conversation continued amidst the din of the wine bar.

The rest of the night was filled with good company, and good drinking as it were, until they were all forced to go home because of the curfew. Yes, it was a drag, but it wasn't all that bad. After all, they had just had a great night, one that was made even better with their new friend. Adrienne hoped to see Nikita again soon, and she had a feeling that she would.
