NO SUCH PLACE

No Such Place

The global pandemic is what started it all. First, it was disease. People were dropping like flies. Then, came the war. Everyone blaming each other. Then, came the famine — whole world lain to waste. It was as if the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse showed up themselves. The world was over, or so it seemed. Now, it must begin again. We must rebuild. This is our beginning. Our corner of paradise, and we call it Elysium.

Who: Edelia, Luella and David
When: Late Evening
Where The Wine Bar
What: Edelia cleverly asks a couple about their relationship. What they don't know is that they're helping her out with something not so cute as their relationship.

Perfect. The Wine Bar was busy and Edelia could have a moment to pout and look around for a place to sit. Normally, she didn't like getting looked at. But on this day she wore a fairly revealing black dress and black heels. Thanks to some good advice from someone at the Magical Supplies Shop, the Naga could apply some balm on her scales and make them disappear temporarily. All she had to do was use this as often as she liked. It was amazing how much better she felt about herself with peached flavored balm. Yeah, she tasted it.

Why was she out and about? Easy. She wanted to get a feel of people, be more social. Instead of always being angry and bitchy, she wanted to be able to talk smoothly or even be friendly if she had to. Communication was obviously the key. If she wanted...well to take something away by seeming not only psychically attractive, but socially attractive, finding the right group of people was a start.

She noticed a couple sitting in a booth in the center of the Wine Bar. They were happy, snug with each other. Edelia could tell they were quite fond of each other. They weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, they were something serious. Talking about a relationship was just what she needed right now so she simply walked to the table and smiled.

"It's...very busy here. May I?" She tilted her head and gave a soft expression. She would look like a lost puppy if she needed to.
