The sounds of happy parade goers filled the evening air as the citizens of Elysium marched from the town toward the festival near the Ancient Elven Tree. Many of the citizens were dressed in costume, and it was obvious that they had been looking forward to the All Hallow's Eve event. The lively music, provided by the fauns, set the overall tone of the parade. Many of the citizens were singing along to the music, while others whooped and cheered. Their path toward the Ancient Elven Tree was lighted by magical sparklers that never lost their energy, and some citizens even had hand-held sparklers that they waved around happily. Sorcerers enchanted objects to light up the sky like fireworks, while small fairies fluttered around the citizens like fireflies.

The parade took a little over thirty minutes, and by the time they arrived at the ancient tree the festival was well on its way. Like the other celebrations in the haven the festival grounds were decorated in a way that lent to the overall atmosphere. Ceramic skulls (and some real ones, too) with candles inside littered the grounds, serving to mark the various pathways leading from one area to another. Carved and un-carved pumpkins also decorated the grounds. Some were set alone with nothing but a candle to illuminate their design, while others were arranged all together, creating a sea of pumpkins.

Seeing as mostly praeternaturals set up the grounds, nothing was considered off-limits or too scary. Full-bodied skeletons were set up in different poses, while others had been enchanted by necromancers to play music for the entire festival. They were harmless, but they would no doubt send chills up someone's spine. Fake tombstones and graves were set up all over the area, some even with a bony hand reaching out from underneath. A small section near the forest behind the ancient tree was set up to be a Haunted Trail where citizens could venture if they wished to be scared just a little (or a lot!). Enchanted bats also flew overhead, and as party favors people were given a garland of miniature skulls, enchanted to glow in the dark.

Areas were also set up for food and activities. Traditional games were set up in booths, and there was every type of food that could be imagined. There was an area for archery, knife throwing, and a very special "zombie wrestling" area where a brave man (or woman) could go up against a zombie resurrected by one of the older necromancers in Elysium. It would not bite, but it would definitely test a person's courage. And all throughout the festival, false apparitions would float about, all of them created through a little bit of magic and imagination.

There were hay rides that could be taken out toward the farmlands and back for anyone who wished to get away from the sounds of the festival, and a stage was also set up right beneath the Ancient Elven Tree for anyone who enjoyed entertaining a crowd. It was also the place where the costume contest would be held later on that night, an event that would no doubt bring all festival goers together.

The All Hallow's Eve Festival was well underway, and it looked like it was going to be an event that no one would soon forget.
