Who: Adam and Shawn
When: 10:00 PM
Where: The shore near the water bungalows.
What: Elemental meets elemental.

Adam was more impervious to cold weather than most, having lived nearly all of his life in Alaska. Fall of the Macedonian region was nothing by comparison, and his jeans and comfortable jacket were enough for the elemental. He didn't need too much. Staring forward into the night, Adam watched the light waves rock against the lake shore not too far away from the edge of his feet. He was sitting on dry sand, of course. The last thing he needed at this moment was to be sitting in water.

With his forearms on his bent-up knees and hands held out, Adam was also in the middle of summoning the nearby plant life to grow out towards the water. The small branches of bushes continued to expand, new leaves sprouting and new roots taking formation along the white sand. Vines curled out of the green expanses behind Adam and slithered over the shore, all of it growing towards the water. It moved like it had a mind of its own, but all of the work was thanks to Adam.

The growth passed a fair area of the shore around him, a couple of yards at least. He wasn't trying to do anything in particular. He just wanted to see the limbs reach the tip of the lake. He could hear them talking, whispering, joyful at the journey he was giving them. They couldn't move like this on their own, and they had never been this far out. A distance traveled was a distance traveled to a plant, and everything seemed wondrous to them.

He was unaware of anyone else around the shore. Adam's focus was solely on the dark water ahead and the plants passing by his form now, stretching out towards the lake. He'd been spending the last few nights outside, buried in the ground in a shapeless form. It hadn't been as comfortable as his bed as home, but he wasn't going home just yet.
