Who: Giles and Midori
When: Afternoon sometime
Where: Front of his cottage
What: Giles is setting up a sign in his front lawn and gets company

With all the dogs running around or whatever the hell with four legs, Giles was actually making an effort to do something with his life. He got up early in the morning to go to the art supply store to get some basic stencils and he made a good looking wood shaper ..Vance..Vince something like that make him a wooden sign. It was blank before, but now it clearly read.

NO ANIMAL SHIT IN MY YARD

The message was loud and clear and he didn’t care if a set of ‘darling’ puppies were set in front of him. Dog shit was dog shit and he didn’t want it around his house. Couldn’t they make a designated area for animals?

With that deed done, he looked around and figured it was time to hit the good old cottage for some food and a day without his daughter. Maybe she was out getting drunk and hanging out with the giants, hmm..maybe the gnomes. If they were like the Travelocity ones, then it would be one hell of a party.

Midori was out for an afternoon run in her animal form. She thrilled in the feel of the ground beneath her paws and the wind ruffling her pure white fur. There was nothing more enjoyable than a good run.

The small fox came to a stop in front of a cottage close by hers. Her attention had been taken by the man in the yard. She let out a small growl at the sight of him. She hadn't realized he lived so close to her. She had spent so much time in her own home, she hadn't much time to meet her neighbors. He was the first man she had met in Elysium and by far one of the most memorable.

The fox was quickly replaced by the woman. She was dressed like a Miko, those clothes the most comfortable she had for working on her shrine.

Midori studied the sign in Giles' yard carefully. "You do realize..." Her voice was tense. "That any animal capable of reading that sign has the good sense not to foul in your yard in the first place." She cocked her head and glared at Giles. "It's vulgar and you should get rid of it for the sake of your neighbors."

Giles spun around to see Midori and waggled his brows widely. “YOWZA said the man in front of the woman trespassing on his territory!” His eyes glanced over her in ways that were obviously not meant to be respectful. “Here for a round two? “ He folded his hands together. “Please say yes! Pease say yes!”

In regards to his sign he smirked towards it, then towards her glad that it upset her. “It’s my yard. Therefore it lives by my rules. Besides everyone here knows that shit means poop. If I can’t say shit, then people shouldn’t be able to say poop. Plus, If I can’t say poop, then I vote we get pooper scoopers so all these new residents with their so called precious dogs and all clean up after the damn S-H-I-T.”

The empath was silent for a moment when he looked over Midori. “Of course if you maybe give me a free show I could remove the picket. That robe thingie screams DO ME.”

Midori crossed her arms over her chest. It was probably best to shield the feature that had grabbed Giles' attention the last time they had met. "I am not trespassing on your territory, Giles-sensei." She looked down at her feet. "I am standing on the pathway, which is public property." She took a step forward, now leaving the path and officially entering his yard. "I was having a run when I was distracted by that ugly sign you're putting up in your yard."

She raised her chin defiantly. "As I said before, any creature that would-- as you so elegantly put it-- shit in your yard does not possess the ability to read your sign. While my opinion of the citizens of Elysium is greatly lacking, I don't think any of them are going to walk their animals on your property. The sign is unnecessary and I don't want to see it every day when I leave my home."

She grit her teeth. "This is the outfit of a shrine priestess, not a stripper. Once again, you have mistaken me for a worker in the sex trade." She kept glaring at him, not moving from her spot. She had actually missed having such a heated argument. She had been far too isolated of late.

The minute Midori said shit she should have seen it coming. "OH, I love it when you talk dirty." He challenged her statement and walked so close to her there was barely any distance between them. Maybe a foot or so at the most. "Are you sure it was the sign? I've been told I have the ass of a god. Don't be afraid to admit it, we all have a few shames to deal with."

The woman was hot and she spoke well. Giles could actually pay attention to the points she was trying to get across. Yet due to the fact she was a beautiful looking woman, it outweighed her intelligence. "Ah yes. But animals do not choose when to release their bowels I am afraid. So, I am simply telling the owners to shoo the dog away when the dog shows signs of shitting. There are other neighbors near by who I am sure embrace animal shit with open arms." He arched his brows high for a moment, hinting high sarcasm. "Such talk makes me hungry. You should come inside and I'll show you the true meaning of a heated debate."

Sadly, she didn't seem amused. Nor was she willing to forget what her outfit stood for. "Hmm. Well then what kind of shrine are you running? Sign me up to keep guard. Of course, assuming there is only one of those and you have to take it off and share it."

Midori rolled her eyes. This man just wouldn't quit. It seemed like absolutely everything she did was a cause of arousal for him. "If you find the word 'shit' arousing, I highly doubt we have any compatibility. Coprophilia is disgusting." She kept a cool look on her face, unfazed by his proximity to her. She arched a delicate eyebrow. "And I assure you, an ass is hardly enough to make me stop."

Midori was not the least bit attracted to Giles. She could admit that he was somewhat attractive. For a human Gaijin at least. But Midori was nearly passed her child bearing days. With Mitsuko as an heir, she had no need to produce anymore children. And that was the point of sexuality, unless one was using it for manipulation. So even if she did find him attractive, it made no difference... Did it?

"No animals allowed would have been sufficient then," Midori replied coldly. "But you chose to go with the vilest wording possible. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised about that when it comes to you."

She rolled her eyes at the offer of food. She was actually considering taking him up on the offer-- it had been a while since she'd had company-- when he spoke about her shrine. Instead of going straight to anger, Midori smiled sweetly at him. She bridged the rest of the distance between them. Yes, she could be charming when there was need for it. "Giles-sensei... Is that really how you feel?" She pressed her hand to his chest and slid it slowly down. "Well... If that's how you feel."

When Midori's fingers reached his groin, her slender fingers clutched him in a vice-like grip. She could have produced claws, but certainly painful clutch of her fingers surely got the point across. "Say what you will about me... Disrespect me, if you must... But if you once more speak about the great Kami Inari in such a disrespectful tone, I will tear off these testicles that seem to rule your every move and feed them to you like grapes."

Giles was about to make what he considered to be a perfect witty comeback to the hot Asian piece of ass until she put her rather dangerous hands over his family jewels. Apparently they truly worked since he had a daughter. He made a slight noise as if saying ‘truce’, but would he really stop? He was Giles after all. His snark really had no end.
“You know, if you tear them off, I’ll just be a lesbian and I’ll use other means to try and get into your pants. I still have my fingers, tongue..and if you’re a foot person..” He trailed off, eyebrows waggling. He then inspected her for a moment, trying to get himself out of being dickless.

“I agree. You are a very fine woman. You are the great..whatever you have said. But I think you are doing all this because you need a man in your pants. Or at least one to accompany you to dinner. You get all assassin on my balls because you’re afraid you may like them.” He challenged her with a request.

“Go on a date with me. One date. I will not only stop making passes at you. But I will remove the sign.” Of course there was a BUT to it.

“Only if you don’t react to my passes at the date. No reaction to my ass grabbing, my want to nail you..oh and of course.” This was his favorite. “You wear something sexy.” Oh, this was going to be good.

Midori considered Giles' request. It was still a heated moment before she released his genitals from her vice-like grip. She raised her chin, regarding Giles imperiously. She had never actually been out on a 'date' before. When it had come to mating with Raidon, she had simply demanded the coupling and they had gone about having their child. She had little use for romance or sexuality in her former life. However, then she had been surrounded by people, was fawned over. Now the only person who wished to be around her was this one.

"I will go out with you," Midori said slowly, almost uncertain she was really saying the words herself. "If that is what is required for you to acquiesce to my wishes." While she had not been out on a date, she had gone to dinner with associates in order to make deals. This would be no different. Well, perhaps there would be more gratuitous comments on her figure.

"What do you mean by 'sexy'?" Midori asked. She looked him over. He was an English man after all. "You wish me to dress in a Western style, don't you?" Midori had never worn any sort of Western clothing before. She was firmly entrenched in the garb of traditional Japan. But, if it was necessary to get Giles to bend to her will. She felt her stomach churn. She would have to ask her own daughter what to wear. Mitsuko would never let her hear the end of this. "A dress, yes?"

Giles was more than please that Midori stated she would go on a date with him. He figured she would say yes because she was tired with dealing with his immature antics. If she said yes to every immature antic he did perhaps he could keep on doing things like this and only get more immature as he went along. Eventually he would tell her she had to screw him to make up for it. Fair enough. But this was just a beginning game. However, he had to play it like this was a onetime thing.

“Well I’m British, screw the Americas. But we have dresses everywhere.” He stated bluntly. Seeing this woman’s legs would be like a dream come true. “Yes, you will have to wear a dress. But not just any dress. I better see some legs. At least the knees or above. I know you have hips, so I better see those too.”

He was practically glowing. If his smile could radiate, it would be lighting up the rather vulgar sign.

Midori figured Giles would want her in something revealing. She had no such clothing of her own. There was only one person she could ask, her own daughter. She was loathed to. She and Mitsuko did not relate well on the personal level. She also knew Mitsuko would take great pleasure in knowing her mother was dressing in Western clothes for a date with a human. It went against her very nature.

"I will find something appropriate," Midori assured him. She adjusted her uwagi and eyed Giles carefully for a moment. "And you will come by my cottage on Sunday night. We'll go out then. I assume you're amenable to this?" She arched a brow.

She was ready to take off now. There were so many thoughts going through her head at the idea of going on a date with Giles. She needed time to consider them all.

Giles looked her over as she stated that he could come to her cottage to pick her up. “You bet your ass I’ll pick you up. Oh, and it will be nice that you know, I can actually get a better view of it.” Besides this last comment he had to think about how the date would go if comments such as the one he just made were more subtle.

“I agree to the arrangements. Once I know you actually don’t fall back on it-the sign disappears.” He promised an gave her room to leave.

Midori gave a sniff of derision. She was starting to get used to the comments towards her from Giles. He was a sexiest jerk, but there was something complimentary in his comments. She would just have to focus on that and forget about the fact he was just trying to get her into bed.

"I do not back out of agreements," Midori said firmly. "I will see you on Sunday night then."

With that, she transformed back into her fox form and disappeared into the forest.
