Who: Yolanda & Kazuki
When: Afternoon
Where: Helicharis (im)proper.
What: Sugar-Rush Vampire Brigade, Take One: WTF? Why are you following me?

That whole curfew thing? Yeah, it sucked, even with the buddy system. Still, Yolanda was determined to make the best out of it, which is why she was out in the day. She wanted to get while the getting was good. Okay, so maybe she was slightly grumpy, but being out in the day did that to her sometimes. She'd been under the sun for a while now, wandering through the shops -- particularly any that provided shade -- and making conversation with some of the people who worked in them. As she walked a flyer caught her eye.

ATTENTION: All patrons of the arts.

Since Yola liked to think she fit the bill, she read on. A theater? Here? She smiled widely, and bounced on her heels a little. "Nice!" Looking at the name, she committed it to memory. Duncan Boyard. She'd send a him note about that. The vampire couldn't act for shit, unless you counted the sort of two-faced behavior that was required to get food sometimes. Which, by the way, she hated doing, because she wasn't into the whole duplicity deal. But that was a whole other issue. So, she wasn't going to be in any starring roles anytime soon. Still, she could paint the sets, or maybe they needed an in-house band. There had to be some way she could help out, right?

As Yolanda considered this, she noticed a familiar shock of bright hair reflected on the glass. The fuck? Was she being followed? Now, Yolanda didn't spend most of her life in places like NYC and Philly without learning how to look at someone without making it obvious. So, she didn't turn around, or anything like that. She just moved her eyes over the image on the glass, pretending she was still reading the note. The over-sized shades that she always wore during the day helped the effect, by hiding the shift in her focus. Yola stared at the figure's reflection, and arched an eyebrow. Okay so that was definitely the same guy she'd seen before.

Alright, she was a vampire. She could do sneaky. Still acting casual, she wandered into the thick of a nearby crowd. Once she was pretty certain she was not visible anymore, she knelt down, making like she was going to tie her shoelaces, and pulled the hood of her sweater over her brightly colored hair. In a smooth motion, she stood, turned, and ducked into an alley. Okay, so maybe it wasn't the smoothest job she'd ever done, especially when she almost walked right into an old fae lady, but it looked like it was good enough. She didn't see him yet, anyway.

Yolanda grinned to herself. His hair, although not quite as multicolored as her own, would still stand out like a sore thumb. "See how you like it," she murmured under her breath, as she waited to turn the tables on her new stalker. Well, if she wasn't being paranoid. Oh wait, no she wasn't, because she could see him up ahead. He was scanning the crowd, probably looking for her. Once his back was turned, she stepped out from the alleyway. Walking swiftly, and with a smug grin, she caught up.

"Hi!" the vampire said, using her best talk-over-other-bar-patrons voice. It was kind of loud, but not a shout. When he turned around, she flashed a bright smile that wasn't entirely friendly, but not entirely unfriendly either. They were in public, and she figured she could handle herself pretty well anyway. So she didn't think there was a huge risk here. She was mostly just amused, at his expense of course. Okay, and a little weirded out. "Any particular reason you're following me?"
