Who: Alicia, her Attacker, and Sanura!
When: Same time as the Autumn Festival.
Where: Northern Forest
What: Alicia gets lost in the forest while following a faun and runs into trouble.

OOC Note: The attacker's comments will be written by one of the mods to ensure their anonymity! However, the attacker's player will be telling the mods what to write for the scene to keep the actions in character.

Alicia walked through the forest with careful steps. Gosh, it was dark out here! She knew everyone else was having fun at the festival, but she had followed one of the fauns out here to see where the fauns lived. The girl told her most of them lived further out in the forest in cottages built by themselves much like their ones back home. A number of them lived in the forest cottages as well, but Alicia wanted to see the faun community out in the Northern Forest. So, the faun promised to take her to it . . . and here she was lost in the middle of the forest because of it.

A glimmer in the forest floor had arrested her attention, which was the reason for Alicia being lost. She had veered off path to discover what the glimmer was, only to discover it was nothing more than a stream. Frowning, Alicia hurried back up to the path to find the faun, but the faun was nowhere to be found. "Hello?" Alicia had called out the faun's name, but the girl didn't answer her. Placing her hands on her hips, Alicia let out a sigh. Great. Now, she was lost.

Turning herself around, she headed back the way she came. Alicia figured she could find her way back easily enough, and wandering further out into the forest at this late hour wasn't a bright idea. Especially when she didn't know where she was going.

The moon did not need to be full for the change to happen. And it did out there in the middle of the forest. First teeth and claws, then muscles and hair. Bones cracked and realigned, and a howl resonated in the night. This would happen again in a few nights, but it needed to happen tonight first. Moments passed and the shift continued until the very end, and the beast was left hunched over the earth.

A salivating muzzle was pressed to the forest floor. It took a deep breath and huffed as it caught scent of something interesting. Its claws protracted, the sharp edges reflected brightly in the light of the nearly full moon. A feral growl emerged from the beast’s throat, and then it shot off through the forest after the scent. It didn’t try to hide its approach until it was close to the girl. It watched her from the bushes, and its tongue darted out to lick its muzzle. A low rumble of a growl resonated in its throat, and within a moment it would attack!

Alicia stumbled along the uneven forest floor, nearly tripping over big tree roots that she couldn't see or thick bushes that hated her shoes and kept getting caught on them. She felt like she would never get out of the forest at the rate that she was going, and she certainly didn't want to spend the night out here. Heaving a sigh out of her chest, Alicia forged on, determined to get back to the festival grounds. The only problem with that was she couldn't hear any music or sounds, and she didn't see any lights. How far away from the festival grounds was she? Alicia began to panic, thinking she had gone the wrong way and she'd be lost in the forest all night without somewhere to sleep!

Out of the darkness, she heard a low growl in the air. The sound caused the girl to freeze. What was that? Slowly, she turned her hear around and looked for where the noise might have come from. It wasn't a human noise, so she wasn't going to ask "hello" to the darkness and hope someone would answer her. It was the sound of an animal, only Alicia didn't know what kind . . . or how big.

Her eyes darted around her surroundings for a tree that she could climb up. If she couldn't run or fight, which Alicia was pretty sure about both, then jumping into a large tree was her best bet. She was a good climber, so when her eyes spotted a good sized tree — not too far from her — she made it up in her mind to make a dash for it.

It was probably just a small animal, but Alicia wasn't taking any chances. She knew the wilderness enough to know big beasts lingered out here, too.

The beast slavered excessively, the ground beneath it growing wet with hunger and need and want for the kill. And there she was - all alone in the middle of the forest. The lycanthrope couldn't have asked for a better scenario. It was as if fate had smiled down upon it and delivered the girl straight into its clutches. The lost little girl would be the focus of its anger and frustration tonight, but most of all she would be the target of its vengeance.

Claws dug into its furry, blood ran along its sharp edge and down the digit until it pooled enough to drip to the earth. Its tongue snaked out slowly to lick along its muzzle, another guttural growl coming to life in the still of the night. It sprang forth from its hiding place, revealing itself to the scared girl. The adrenaline in her blood would make her flesh all the sweeter. The beast howled loudly, fangs glistening in the moonlight as its head raised to the sky. It turned its yellow eyes to the girl and leaped forward to attack!

Alicia saw the danger coming from the corner of her vision. She squeaked and made a dash for the tree. As quickly as she could, she jumped and latched onto a branch, but not before teeth sunk down into leg. Alicia screamed and moved to kick it in the eye with her other foot, but the creature had already let go. It wasn't a bite as much as a nip, and the speed with which the animal approached her caused it to let go of her leg as it skidded away on the brush. It had been heading straight for her side, and she ran forward in her own direction towards the tree — something the animal might not have expected. It probably thought she would run straight ahead, giving it a clear shot of pouncing her from behind.

Though her leg hurt, she forced herself to climb up into the tree. The trunk was sturdy and thick, and its large branches could hold her weight with ease. Alicia climbed higher with care, higher and higher still, wanting to get as far away from the beast as possible. "HELP!" she screamed into the forest. "SOMEBODY HELP ME!" The girl didn't know if there was anyone else around, but sitting up in the tree and remaining quiet wasn't going to help her at all. So, she did the next best thing. She screamed. Then, she yelled for help. Someone would hear her. She knew she couldn't have been that far from the festival by now. From high up in the tree, she could spot distant lights through the trees.

Alicia called again and again for help, even as she saw the thing stand up on its hind legs and leap at the tree to try and climb it. Her eyes grew wide. That wasn't an animal, Alicia thought. It was a werewolf. As it stood up on its hind legs, she could tell. She could see what it was from here, and she knew what a werewolf looked like by now.

Alicia screamed even louder and began to shake as she remembered it bit her leg.

Though the festival would have usually lured Sanura in, lately she favored being alone. Her conversations were short, even limited with her brother. Nothing of the rude sort, perhaps her spirits just weren't as high. Autumn was a beautiful season, she was sure her spirits would raise. Sanura never stayed in a down state for too long. It wasn't her past crisis of sheltering herself in her home. She now just often roamed around in the night or day hours appreciating nature from anything to the dying warm breeze to the glittering of the stars.

Everything seemed perfect on her walk, like all other nights..until she heard desperate screaming that left an alarming feeling within her. Running to help the voice in her lanky form wouldn't be of any help. By the sound of the poor victims voice, there was little time to waste.

She ran normally as her mind focused as always on the power she now easily posessed. Average human speed became rapid and her body hunched over then eventually fully rested on all fours as her tiger form took full shape while running. It took quite some learning to take speed while transforming, but it was now a very important asset.

The screams were now amplified in to the excellent senses of a tiger. Her yellow intense, now angered eyes set view on what appeared to be a werewolf pretty much planning to eat a poor girl. She growled, making it so loud and known it could disturb the trees.

Moving closer the the creature she knew would be a challege she prepared herself for a fight, eyes intense and back raised. To make sure her opponet know she was there for the say she kept a constant growl in her voice, even threw a roar in their way.

It didn't matter what happened, she just wanted the poor girl safe and for this bully to learn some kind of lesson.

The taste of the girl's blood had made the beast howl hungrily. There was no way it could be expected to not continue its attack now that it had been so close to victory. Though it had skidded past her in its assault, the werewolf would not make the same mistake twice. It had circled the tree not once, but twice. Drool was covering the ground at its feet, and its large claws dragged along the surface of the tree's trunk. It would have this girl tonight if it was the last thing it did. It hadn't wanted to eat her initially, but her incessant screaming was making it have second thoughts.

The half-man, half-wolf stood on its hind legs and jumped up the length of the tree. Its claws glistened in the moonlight, and it would have reached Alicia if it weren't for the tiger that appeared on the scene. It had growled angrily at the werewolf, and the werewolf knew that the tiger had every intention of protecting the girl in the tree. The wolf snarled in return and backed away from the tree - not in fear, but in preparation for a fight. Its fur was raised, and its muscles were clenched in anticipation of battle. It would fight this tiger for its target, but how much would it have to fight in order to win? The werewolf lunged forward but only as a threat and growled at the tiger. Its claws were outstretched and it took a swipe at the four-legged beast before it jumped back. It circled the tiger once and tried to attack again, this time with both claws stretched out before it.

Sanura wasn't lucky enough to have the natural instinct of a tiger, so she had to act on the adreniline that was coursing through her veins. Her heart was pounding so hard heart her chest could have exploded before she even planned out her next move. She kept growling while she kept her body at a distance.

As the were circled her, fear waved over but her eyes still remained intense and she tried to control her breathing. She could do this, she could evade, attack and better yet maybe even get in a strike.

When the strike came towards her, she flung her body to the side and reached out a claw to hit the poor girl's attacker in its face. She felt a light blow from her rival's attack, but it was nothing compared to just standing there.

The werewolf roared in anger as the heavy paw struck its face. It shook its head and lifted a hand up to touch the now bruised and bloodied cheek. Yellow eyes glared at the tiger, at the one that was ruining its entire game. The girl in the tree was its target, not this intruder, and yet the tiger was forcing the werewolf to keep all its attention on it. The wolf was determined to somehow get the girl in the tree, get her scared enough to serve as a warning.

The wolf howled and made another lunge for the tree. Claws dug into the trunk and tried to climb up. Its muzzle was pulled back revealing the sharp, menacing teeth that wanted nothing more than to nip at the young girl's leg. Just a little more, it only needed to reach a little more. But it would be bad judgment on the werewolf's part that it turned its back on the tiger.

Oh crap. Though she couldn’t speak the words, her body language gave it away. But it didn’t matter if the beast had a head start. She came here to protect the girl and protecting was what she was going to do. The werewolf saw her as a pain in the ass and she wasn’t done yet.

Sanura was sure she had the upper hand to get the werewolf to stop his trials to nip at the girl. Hunger was on its mind while determination was on hers. That’s why Sanura made sure she ran directly towards the creature and tackled it to the ground. Her head only looked upwards for a moment to see if the young girl in the tree was alright, then her gaze turned towards the were, razor sharp claws ready to sink in flesh.

Trash talking a werewolf was not a good idea, but it was tempting. Besides, she worried the most about the girl she only saw small glimpses of in the tree.

The werewolf was tackled by the large tiger. It snarled angrily as it lay on the ground. The wolf shook his head to regain its bearings, and slowly began to push itself to a standing position. Its eyes were trained upon the girl in the tree, and then it turned to look at the tiger that was determined to protect the human. No matter, it had done what it came to do and that was enough.

The werewolf let out a disgruntled huff in the tiger's general direction before it turned around and trotted off into the forest. It didn't need to do anything else to the girl, especially with the tiger standing guard. It would have many more chances in the future to exact its revenge.

Alicia watched the whole fight from up in the tree, fearing for the life of the tiger that came to her rescue. She knew it was a therianthrope because it wasn't like there were real tigers running around Elysium unchecked. As the werewolf finally ran off into the forest, Alicia called to the person who was now a tiger. "Are you alright?" Alicia said loudly from up in the tree, still a little afraid to come down so soon. "It bit me in the leg," she said fearfully. "I need to get to the medical pavilion or something . . . "

Truthfully, the young girl didn't know what she was supposed to do. As long as the werewolf was gone for good, she would come back down and follow the other person back into town. Maybe riding on the back of a tiger would get them there quicker than just walking. Alicia's leg felt like it was hurting, though, and she wasn't so sure she wanted to walk on it.

Sanura was unsure of what to do. Part of her wondered if she could ask the girl to throw down an article of clothing and she could guide the girl back by foot and make sure she was okay by the softness of her voice. It would seem more comforting to perhaps have a voice instead of a set of growls. But then again as a tiger she could give her a piggy back ride. After giving a look of pondering, she looked at Alicia and nodded. She just had a few scratches that would heal in no time.

She had a determined look in her eye, trying to see how she could get the girl down from the tree. Alicia would have to try and be brave despite the situation and try and jump down on her back after she aligned her back to where she was trying to protect herself. It took some tries. Sanura circled the tree many, many many times to perfect where she was sure Alicia was.

She looked up at Alicia with a comforting glint in her eye. She was positive that if Alicia jumped, she would land on her back. She dug her paws firmly into the earth to make sure she didn’t move at all once Alicia landed.

Alicia wasn't high enough for a jump to hurt her once she crawled down to a reasonable level. She looked around to see if the werewolf was anywhere nearby, but the coast looked clear. Holding her breath, Alicia hopped down and landed on the tiger's back from a few feet up in the tree. She clutched tightly around the tiger's neck and signaled it was okay for them to go.

As they rushed through the dense forest, the sights and sounds of the festival ground became clear. Riding on the back of a tiger was exhilarating, and it took her mind off of her hurt leg. They would make it to help soon. Alicia knew her injury wasn't life-threatening, but it could have been life-altering. Maybe a doctor could give a better opinion than her sixteen-year-old girl mind. Alicia didn't know what to make of the matter.

Soon, though, they were out of the forest and the werewolf attack was far behind her. It was only a matter of a getting the proper kind of help now.
