Mac enjoyed her position on the tribe. She wasn't top bitch, but that just meant less bureaucracy to put up with in the long run. That was the one thing that was getting to her while running the Tres 60, playing politics, bribing lawyers and politicians to look the other way, overseeing all of the the gang's activities and expecting to be on top of it all, to include whenever they screwed up. It was something Mac handled, but being second in command now meant a lot less of that bullshit. Now she simply handled the men for the most part. Ordering them around, overseeing that they do what they need to, dishing out punishment when things didn't happen.
Yes, dealing out punishment was her favorite part of her job. And not really having to deal with the public too much was nice too. Speaking of orders and punishment, Mac was going over her checklist of what was supposed to get done and noticed that one of the newest to join the tribe, Savage, hadn't yet done what he was told to do yet. He was supposed to be on guard duty already, but Mac was standing right where he was supposed to be, and look, no newbie.
She smiled evilly as she made her way back to the toll house to find the jerk. He was going to find out why she was called, "sir" and not "ma'am" and why it was best not to press one's boundaries with her. Saga expected her to keep everyone in a certain order so she didn't have to worry about the inner workings of her own tribe, and Mac saw to it that everyone pulled his or hers weight. Savage was about to learn this lesson.
"Hey, new guy, why aren't you on guard duty like you were ordered?" she asked, not so nicely, once she found him. Her hands were on her hips and she had her "don't fuck with me" look on her face.
