Who: Mal and Brax When: Sunday Morning Where: Mal's Theirs penthouse What:
One of Mal's favorite things about fame was the connection she could have with so many people. It was something that got harder to maintain as she got bigger and bigger. But she was determined to keep it on both large and small scales. The newest tool in her arsenal was live streams. Sometimes they were announced with a specific purpose. Sometimes they weren't. Today's was completely spontaneous. Which really meant she wanted to talk and Brax had heard it all already and the cats were less than interested.
She was settled on a window seat in her penthouse, dressed casuallyas she pulled her hair over her shoulder and a cat in her lap. Soon she was happily chatting at an obscene number of followers. She talked about music mostly. She had been writing a lot lately. She tended to do that when she was feeling so much emotion. And then she talked about cats and shows. The only thing she didn't talk about was Brax. They had agreed to keep their relationship relatively quiet for now. Technically his divorce wasn't completely finalized anyway.
Mal had left the comments on the Livestream though she wasn't paying much attention to them. At least she wasn't until there were several all caps in quick succession all commenting on the hotness in the background. Which was when she noticed Brax had appeared, shirtless, in the background. The surprise was all over her face as she turned to look at him and then quickly back to the stream, turning the screen in a slightly different direction.
"Bye guys!" she said with a wave, pointedly ignoring all the questions. But right before she closed the stream she saw that username. She didn't even see his comment. the name was enough. She felt the fear bubble before she tried to force it away before turning to Brax.
"I suppose I should warn you when I spontaneously decide to do a live stream, shouldn't I?"
